I took my dog twice in the last week for vomiting, shaking and a UTI and a week later she is still sick so I called VCA. Art a tech called me back and told me the vets should have had a pancreatitis test done, blood work and my dog should have been hospitalized. I questioned why the two vets would not do that and why he is telling me something different (repeatedly) and he responded that there are other vets and I can take them there. I told him that I already paid them almost $700, I am being told by him that the vets did not do what they were supposed to do and questioned why he is telling me to go to a different vet and told him he needed to come up with a better answer. He then said he will not help me and hung up. So I went to the animal hospital to speak to a vet, came in calm wanting to speak to someone who could help. My husband called them to let them know we were on our way to get this resolved and they called the police!!! When we spoke to the tech again he started denying what he told me, changed the story and nothing got resolved. The police even question why they were called. It was the most ridiculous thing I have ever experienced. They both smiled at each other when the cops came and of course nothing happened because we did nothing wrong. I am a high risk pregnancy with multiples, a dog that has been sick for a week. I just want her better so I can focus on taking care of myself and I want a real answer and not to argue with an irrational tech, 1 week and $700 later. I don’t have time to argue and listen to a tech play the blame game and hang up on me when I become firm and start questioning his answers. There were no threats made or voices raised (NOTHING wrong was done) and the fact that your two employees were smiling at each other shows that they did not take any of it seriously. The believe the CCPD is not here because two employees think it “funny” to be malicious and avoid explaining why one said their vets did not do their jobs. The fact that your employees do not take customers or the police departments job seriously is horrendous. There are true crimes going on and anyone who watches the news can clearly see that. We were not asked to leave, we weren’t being irate, we rang the bell, they let us in, told the girl we were the couple that just called, the tech walked out and showed us the chart, the guy finally admitted that he did not know anything and the cops showed up. It was simply nothing more than two employees taking advantage over a situation that they can take advantage of. The cops asked why they were called, told the employees that they don’t deal with that kind of stuff, didn’t even ask for our name, info or take a report. That shows what a ridiculous call that was and waste of time. I have been a client for about 3 years and referred family and friends. I hope in the future you show more respect for the people who put their life on the line and customers. Their job is not protect you from answering questions and red flags that you raised when you said the vets didn’t do their job. Im dissapointed on the lack of regard you guys hold for long standing client. The manager did call me back today and said she was sorry, said it was not what she thought it was and she was going to have a heart to heart with the tech and receptionist on how to treat customers. I appreciate her speaking to the staff on what really should have been done but unfortunately damage was done, they are keeping the employee that caused it and I cant continue my business with someone who treats clients so poorly.

In the past I have used this vet for an emergency visit, middle of the night style. Our cat had become increasingly lethargic and sick. We made her an appointment at our normal vet but her condition worsened so we took her into OSO creek. I expected a long wait because its an emergency room and thats how things go sometimes. It depends on many variables, most of which I am unaware of, so a wait was to be expected. What I did not expect was the staffs bedside manner at 2:30AM, they were AWESOME. Our wait was not very long, even at the hour we arrived. Our cat, Kitteny, had never been fixed so her insides had began to infect and she needed an emergency hysterectomy. She was given the surgery and had to stay in the hospital for observation because her system had become septic. She nearly died, they SAVED HER LIFE. The cat today is a fat happy little fur ball that is full of energy and life. I have several cats and today we had to pay another visit to the emergency doctor because of Fleaona this time. She had been fixed and never really recovered. I must say their new facility is TOP NOTCH, the best I have ever seen. The place is nicer than most hospitals, it rivals some day surgery clinics I have seen too. Flea was wised right in at her appointment time, the doctor on staff saw her within 15 minutes of our arrival. Dr. Brianna Travis, and tech Alyssa were AWESOME. They made her and us feel right at home and taken care of. The place is too nice for words, they have to be experienced. I recommend them to anyone and I will be going there from now on...no more emergency style visits.... As for the negative reviews prior to this one, the understanding you are at an emergency room helps. I have had worse treatment than was described in the previous reviews at human hospitals. It is the nature of the emergency room. I have had nothing but awesome experiences at this place. The cost is right in line with other vets that I have visited in the past. I love this place and these people. I trust my animals to them, I will recommend them to anyone.

My dog had suffered an injury, couldnt use her entire left side of her body, and I couldnt find a vet closer to me that could see her as a walk in. Based on recommendations made to me by others I personally know, I called this clinic and they told me they accepted walk ins, and warned me there might be a wait. I drove the 45 min to the clinic, and I was only sitting in the lobby for about 10 minutes before I was called into a room. The vet, Dr. Graham, I thought was very knowledgeable, and he was able to identify my dogs ailment. Unfortunately, it wasnt what any pet owner wanted to hear, and after much discussion about her treatment options, I made the hard decision to euthanize her (this was not the vets first suggestion to me at all--if anything, I brought it up). I simply wouldnt be able to afford, or save up the money for what needed to be done in the short amount of time that would be needed to ensure my pup would gain back some of her lost mobility. It was a tough decision, but I couldnt allow my pup to live in pain and unable to ever walk again. But the vet, Dr. Graham, and the tech Jordan were so supportive and made my sweet girl comfortable. Its been two days, and I personally received a call from Dr. Graham checking on how I was holding up. It was the kindest gesture... especially for him to take time out of his day to check on how Ive been doing since I had to put my baby down. Everyone I spoke with, the receptionist at the time, the vet, vet tech, and the other kind girl who helped the tech wheel my pup out to my car, were all such nice and supportive people. It was comforting. Despite the circumstances of the visit, I would still recommend this clinic to others. Its not their fault for the diagnosis of my pups injury, but their kindness and concern has stuck with me, and it was highly appreciated and needed.
