My dog was very sick and after reading reviews on here, I decided to take him to this veterinary clinic. My dog had only been sick for 24 hours. Upon examination and $160 later, Dr. Norris dismissed him with a bacterial infection and sent us home with antibiotics, special dietary food and a promise everything would be okay the next day. The next day, things were not okay. The antibiotics which I paid an arm and a leg for did absolutely nothing for my dog. I called the vet and expressed my concerns for my dogs health and explained there were no improvements. I was told I may have to wait another day to see results. The second day after seeing the vet, my dog seemed in worse health than ever. I called the veterinary office again, pleading for answers, and was told the doctor would call me back. He called me several hours later and said hospitalization was probably the best route since the medication he prescribed himself wasnt working. I was told that it would cost a minimum of $950 to hospitalize him for four days and that they do not do payment plans. I was also told if I couldnt afford to have him hospitalized, euthanasia might be an option for me. Heartbroken, I tried frantically to come up with the money to hospitalize him. I created a GoFundMe account and listed some of my belongings for sale on Craigslist and such but unfortunately, my dog passed away a couple of hours after the last phone call to the vet. I am writing this review because I am very upset with Dr. Norris and his misdiagnosis. I dont understand why I spent $160 for a seven day supply of antibiotics that my dog couldnt even survive more than two days to take. I feel like more tests shouldve been run on my pet. He shouldve done bloodwork or conducted some more lab work before sending us home with antibiotics. Maybe if he had correctly diagnosed my dog and prescribed the proper medication he needed, he would be laying at the foot of my warm soft bed right now and not three feet under the cold hard dirt in my backyard. Do not go here. Go somewhere where your pet is treated with the love and the care they deserve.

I have been taking my cats to Dr. Norris for about 8 years. He once saved a cat of mine I had taken in to be put to sleep because I thought there was no hope for him. Dr. Norris offered to keep him, work with his medical problems to see if it was possible to save him without the very expensive surgery I was told he had to have. After one week, he called me to tell me Jack was ready to come home! Tragically I lost both of them about 5 years ago, but I have a new adoptee and will be bringing her to Dr. Norris. He goes above and beyond and cares for all the animals as if they were his own! Many clients do travel for miles because they know he is kind and wonderful to work with.

Ive used this clinic twice with no problems. I just called (9/11/17 @ 8:40 am) & spoke with Susanne & she was extremely rude, short & confrontational. I tried to ask questions & had to tell her I didnt call to argue. She had no concern when I told her I would not be bringing my pet back there because of her attitude. Sometimes its not what you say, its how you say it! Since there was no concern when I called, Im sure this review will be of no concern.

Dr. Norris and staff have been caring for our dogs since 1994. I used to travel for business and after my first boarding, I knew they would be the perfect place for my pooch while I was out of town. The clinic staff have helped us welcome new pets and after long, full lives, helped us say goodbye to our dear pets. All is done with caring and professionalism. Dr. Norris gives us all options for care and always treats our pets like our family.
