Well I take my dog to Dr. Paxton at the Greystone Pet Hospital in Bowling Green, KY. Every experience there has been a good one. I started taking my dog there a couple of years ago to get a second opinion on a so called habit my dog picked up which was smacking her lips. After already having her teeth cleaned & an one extraction from the first vet I normally took her to, she continued to smack. When went back, they told me it was just a habit, to over look it. Dr. Paxton ended up finding more wrong which ended up her needing another teeth cleaning & 2 more teeth extracted that were clearly needing to come out. So obviously the other vet did not find the other two teeth nor cleaned her teeth properly the first time. Smacking is now gone. Not only is the care better there I feel at Greystone, but the prices as well. When comparing to my last vet, Greystone is cheaper & does more for your pet to keep them healthy for the price. The reason I chose Greystone & Dr. Paxton was because I had heard good things about him & the Pet Hospital & their involvements with the community helping to rescue animals.

Im from Florida and I had two emergencies on my Yorkie, Chyna. My friend, Jennifer Epley referred me to Greystone and I just loved Doctor Amanda Grey. She was the most awesome doctor ever. My Chyna wont go to anyone, but, she talked to Chyna and took get care and made her feel as ease and before I knew it, Chyna was in Dr. Greys arms. The staff were very friendly as well, they made you feel like you were at home. We had to go back another night after hours and Dr. Amanda Grey came out to see Chyna due to having a seizure. This was the night the tornado storm came in and Dr. took us all in the back for shelter and made sure we were safe. I cant thank Greystone and Dr. Amanda enough for the care and concerns for my little Yorkie, Chyna. I rate you 110 % and I even posted and liked your site on my Facebook. GREYSTONE IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Greystone and the staff at this hospital are amazing!! The level of care they provide to each and every animal is unparalleled. I live over an hour away and would not take my animals any where else. The Dr.s here provide a level of care that is accompanied with a level of compassion that I do not believe could be found any where else. They have saved the lives of two of my critters (crazy accidents on the farm) and through each of these their levels of expertise shown through along with significant levels of compassion that have remained over four years later when they still call them by name as soon as they walk through the door, even the new animals they encounter daily! They take the time to get to know each of their families individually! This makes each visit help every critter feel a little more at ease :)

The vets Ive seen here are competent, but seem harried, as if they have more important things to do. Over several interactions, from ordering prescription food to dealing with more serious health issues, the front office staff was abrupt and only passingly competent. Given the price range of services at this clinic and the general lack of "above and beyond" attitude, youd do better to look at other clinics in the area. All Creatures offers similar services with greater thoroughness, compassion, and a smaller price tag. While both are AAHA certified, the overall experience at Greystone left me less than enthusiastic.

I started taking my dogs to Greystone 7 years ago, as my sighthounds breeder recommended Dr. Stephenson for her experience with these breeds. Because we love the care she and the staff have given our dogs, I also took a lamb with a broken leg and a hedgehog in need of an amputation to Greystone. Drs. Price and Paxton, respectively, handled these emergencies with great skill, compassion and a good dose of appropriate humor. Five stars plus.

When I got my Maltipo in April of 2014 I took her to Greystone for the initial physical and keep her current on shots and had her spayed in August 2014 They are ALWAYS professional and polite and warm to all the animals that come in the door. Cream Puff still lobes walking in their door - a testament to how well shes cared for. Their groomer stays booked a month on advance so Id say that the grooming would be as good as the medical care.

Greystone Pet Hospital is by far the best facility in Bowling Green to take all of your furry friends. I credit Greystone for saving my english bulldogs life (after he ingested a toy which created a bowel obstruction). If it hadnt been for their attention to detail and exceptional staff, our Butkus may not be here today! Thank you Greystone Pet Hospital for providing outstanding veterinary services within our community!!

I was a client of Greystone for years and they are all fabulous there! I have seen them save animals who never should have survived...(including a couple of my own precious babies!). I would highly recommend Greystone to anyone. I had an emergency last summer with my Saint Bernard and when I got there - she was taken back immediately, evaluated and treated all within minutes of arrival. Again, they are great!!

Moved to BG in summer of 2010, the vets at Greystone took care of both my babies, including my beloved Neomora who struggled with a heart condition for many years. Their compassionate and professional care helped keep him comfortable as his condition began to worsen with old age; he lived until almost age 18. They still provide great care to my surviving fur baby, Lilo. <3

Dr. Paxton was great with BJ our 10 yr. old cat that had a stroke. Even though the success rate is low he researched and gave us options to try. BJ is still with us and doing a lot better. Only been 5 days since his stroke so we are hopeful things keep improving.
