Dr. Meyer is a brilliant, highly qualified and truly compassionate veterinarian. She is a no-declaw vet, which means she will not mutilate cats for money (declawing is illegal in the rest of the world because it is very harmful to cats and has absolutely no benefit for the cat; it is the painful amputation of cats toes at the first knuckle, which leaves them in chronic pain for the rest of their lives, and is considered mutilation and animal cruelty in countries which have banned it). Dr. Meyers top priority is her animal patient to whom she has vowed as a vet "to do no harm." She and the staff did a wonderful job with my cat, Stella, who had needed a dental cleaning last Summer and had to have four teeth extracted because they were decaying and causing her a lot of pain. They kept me posted on how she was doing and were always available to answer questions or concerns. If I left a message with the receptionist, a member of the staff always called me back right away. They even offered me a payment plan for the cleaning if I needed one. Stella did great and is a whole other cat after her dental cleaning because Dr. Meyer and her staff took wonderful care of her and she is now pain-free and happy. I highly recommend this animal hospital to all pet parents for the loving care of their fur babies, especially to cat lovers like me who want a humane no-declaw vet!

I had the same experience as MTCigars. Went in for a "free" puppy exam that cost me a arm and a leg. When I questioned the pricing, they were extremely offended. I was also met with many snide comments and judgement. I left in tears. After coming home I called several vets in the area and the price quotes were significantly less. In some cases I paid triple what the other vets charged. I paid at least double on all services. The only advice I have is do your research before choosing a vet, ask the price points! I would never choose a second rate vet to save money but I wish I had not left feeling like I had been gouged. Too bad I did not look up the reviews before I went in for my appt.

Ive had a good experience with this vet. Shes a good vet, but Im very frustrated right this moment over the service here. Not animal health quality, but human. Ive rushed over after work two times this week to pick up the medicine my dog needs. Both times were 10-15 minutes before the post d closing time and the door was locked. If this had been my last pet, who needed meds for seizures, I would be VERY upset. Ill update my review if this changes. For now, sorry...

"Fegenbush Lane Animal Clinic is a warm and friendly place where we will treat your pet as if it is our own. Separate waiting and exam rooms for dogs and cats, with heated and padded exam tables. - From the owner" This is a false statement, Ill not go back to this clinic either, the prices are high and the staff is rude.

Very expensive. They seem very judgmental about you if you are thinking of breeding your dog. Snide comments about the timing of when I have my dog spayed. Called for quote and it ended up costing around $100 more for spaying my dog. Barely looked at my dog when I had the stitches taken out. We will never go back there.
