Groomer is amazing but Management sucks. Unusual policies about vaccinations. They want you to drop your dog off at 9am but no matter what I have never got him back before 4pm. My dog is always dehydrated and needs to use the restroom. Last time I picked him up my dog that has never gone to the bathroom in my house stopped and relieved himself in the parking lot on the pavement. No matter what I get extra charges for matted hair or some other reasons, they always find one. Annoying emails about vaccinations and they are not my dogs vet and have never requested updated medical information from my dogs vet. They have every dog dropped off at the same time so it is crazy at drop off time. The quality of the grooming is very high my standard poodle always looks amazing. But you get what you pay for it is always over $100 without tip. Last trip my standard poodle and westie cost $230, both had " matted hair " and they gave them vaccinations? My past groomers would only charge $70, $80 with a tip and never said that he had matted hair.

The staff at Hurstbourne Animal Hospital took amazing care of us last week when our dog suddenly became very ill. I called in the morning to make an appointment for him, and immediately had to call back because I didnt think he would be okay until 2. They offered for us to bring Buster in at 8 so that he could be monitored by the tech, and come back in at 11 when the vet got in. Dr. Kaur ran several tests and ended up referring us to Metropolitan Veterinary because they did not have the right equipment to properly diagnose what was wrong. Before leaving, we had a good talk with Dr. Kaur about the various outcomes and what to expect at Metro. Unfortunately we had to let Buster go when we got the results at Metro. Just yesterday we received a sympathy card from the staff at Hurstbourne. It was a terribly difficult time for us, but everyone we encountered at Hurstbourne was so very kind to us. We definitely will continue to come back with our other dog and we appreciate the excellent care we were given in such a hard time.

My husband and I are so thankful we found Hurstbourne Animal Hospital. :) We needed somewhere to take our very large, 92lbs baby boy, Bear, for skin issues that were getting out of control and affecting his quality of life. By chance, we stumbled upon the sweetest staff that truly cared about Bear and his situation. After tests and some explanation, it turned out our very large baby has a thyroid problem! With the help of some medicine to treat his immediate symptoms and some prescription food, our Bear is 16 lbs lighter, healthy, and rambunctious again! He will be on the thyroid medicine for the rest of his but the cost is very manageable and what matters is that Dr. Karr and Bears new favorite person and girlfriend, Lilly, cared enough to find the root of his problem, and improved his life tenfold. We cannot thank them enough and we are so glad that we were able to meet these wonderful people! :)

This is the worst grooming place I have ever been to. The only reason Im giving them one star is so I can let people know not to take their dogs here. I had a beautiful fluffy labradoodle and we gave them strict instructions not to shave our dog and we liked "her hair longer on top" the lady was super nice and seemed to completely understand what I was asking for. She did inform me that her ears were matted and would need to be shaved and I understood. When I picked up my dog she was completely shaved...completely. I paid $105 for them to shave my dog without my consent. Now my poor puppy is chewing at herself and is in completely shock of what they have done to her. Please dont make the same mistake. Save yourself some money and your dogs sanity and go anywhere else.

After going to my home veterinarian twice and receiving no diagnosis of my Boxers knee and just telling me to go to an orthopedic for an x-ray and surgery, I decided to seek a second opinion. Dr. Kaur is very knowledgable and was able to let me know it is a slight ACL injury bothering my pup. I did not feel pressured in making any brash decisions on the situation which I really appreciated! She recommended many options as well as many surgeons that offer cheaper options in the area in case I did decide to go that route. I am considering the hydrotherapy for my dog, but I just wish the facilities were not so far from my work and house. Overall, I am very pleased with my decision in seeking out Hurstbourne Animal Hospital for a second opinion! Thank you!!

Hurstbourne Animal Hospital has cared for my dogs and cats for many years. They are the best as far as pet care and grooming go. Even my elderly dogs can be trusted to their care. We have boarded pets with them for extended vacations and never gave a thought to how happy our four legged family members were while we were away. The medical attention is top notch, very thorough and comprehensive. We always trust all the advice we receive. They also will special order food for pets with dietary problems. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and sure to love all your animals as much as you do. Try it, youll like it! Sincerely, Deborah Jaggers

We have been taking our fur babies to Hurstbourne Animal Hospital & Dr. Kaur for over 10 years for vet services. Dr. Kaur and her staff helped us through a very difficult situation when we lost our Chewy. When we got our baby girl Madison there was no doubt she would be cared for by Hurstbourne Animal Hospital. Just recently we needed to find quality boarding for Madision and they treated her like she was at home. Cant thank them enough and highly recommend them to anyone in search of quality and compassionate care.

When we moved to this end of town, I was worried about finding a vet nearby because my cats absolutely hate being in the car. Hurstbourne Animal Hospital is great. It is right around the corner, costs about the same as my former vet. Making appointments is easy and they can always work you in if you have an emergency. The entire staff is friendly and loving to my cats. I could not ask for a more perfect situation.

The staff are all friendly and caring. My dog is more than a pet to us she is part of our family so it is important to us that she be cared for by people who are truly interested in her care. The doctors, techs, groomers all are great. I cant say enough about the guys that work in the hydrotherapy and pool area. My animal showed a big improvement in her mobility after just a few weeks.

Love having everything for my dog in one spot. I can have her groomed and given needed shots or check-ups all at the same time. Since we view our pet as part of our family, the friendly and helpful staff and doctors were a main priority in our choosing the facility. They came highly recommended from a close friend.

Since my husband and I moved to a different part of town, we had to say goodbye to our old vet. It was a very easy transition here at Hurstbourne Animal Hospital. The staff is always courteous and they treat our dog like our "baby". We love this place! I recommend this place to any pet owner.
