Dr. Allen and her staff at AMC are super champions in delivering excellent care for my pet. My husband and I feel tremendously grateful to have Dr. Allen as our family vet - who is gentle, loving and cares so much about making our dog feel at ease every time were at the center. In addition, Dr. Allen is very thorough and transparent and always goes above and beyond with her work. She is also an expert in international travel for dogs, we have been able to travel to different countries (Holland, Belgium, France and Mexico) with our dog Nala without any issues thanks to having all the paperwork and medical records in order and in compliance with foreign law prepared by Dr. Allen who takes these matters very seriously, and we thank her so much for that. Also, Id like to mention how satisfied we were with having our dog spayed by Dr. Allen, our dog recovered so well in a matter of couple of days, during those days Dr. Allen and her staff would call us to check in on Nala, and after the surgery they kept us in the loop by text and even sent us photos of Nala after her surgery - which was very relieving for us and very much appreciated. The scar also disappeared few months later cause it was so well done! AMC office staff is always friendly and welcoming from the front desk to the vet-assistants, and most importantly always willing to help answering any questions you may have for them. Therefore, without hesitation, I highly recommend Animal Medical Center to all pet-owners in the Louisville area, especially those who want the best of the best care for their furry children!

I have had the honor to have Dr Allen and Hofmeister (can never spell her name right), treat my dogs since 1998. The Drs and their staff have always treated my dogs with great respect and love. When I went through the pain of losing one of my lovely babies (and one for my parents), the Drs and staff were so tender and loving with my dog and my family. I trust the staff and the Drs with their advice, treatment, and care. The Drs never over react with their treatment and when I call with a simple question the staff and/or Drs answer my quick question putting my mind at ease. I love this vet office, the Drs, staff, and animal mascots. I will continue to drive any distance to use this vet office. You will always get true compassion from the Drs and staff, which you can see when you pet reacts to them. My dog shys away from people, but not from the Drs and staff in this office. My dog loves the Drs and staff.

When we went out of town we were lucky to get Teddy, our 1 1/2 year old Lab into the Animal Center of Middletown. Previously we had Teddy stay at another kennel where all the dogs started barking as soon as we showed up. Which made Teddy nervous. And when we picked Teddy up he always seemed to be out of sorts and tired. When we brought him to the AMCM they took him back to a quiet space, with no barking dogs. Teddy followed the tech back happily. And when we picked Teddy up he was well rested and in good spirits. I will always now try to get Teddy into AMCM for boarding from now on!!! Also we drove approximately 20 miles to get to AMCM and we had a vet we used 1 mile from our house. It is well worth the trip. Teddy loves Dr Hofmeister! And the staff shows their love of Teddy, too. We are so happy to have found the Animal Center of Middletown!

Weve been taking our cat to the Animal Medical Center of Middletown for several years now and we are very pleased! The doctors helped get our cats chest infection healed quickly and prescribed medicine. They also discovered our cat had asthma, which we were not aware of. The doctors and staff members are friendly and compassionate about the animals they care for. The prices are competitive (or a bit lower) as compared with other vets in the area. At the grand opening of this facility a few years ago, we clients had the opportunity tour through the operating room, boarding area, pet "patient" rooms, etc. and we were so impressed! We highly recommend taking your pet to Animal Care Center for the best care possible.

This place infested with Fleas. I purchased an 8-weeks-old puppy from a great local pet shop and the puppy was so healthy and clean. I kept him quarantined in my home for 10 days until he was due for his second shot no sign of sickness, fleas or other negative side. After my visitation to this hospital and after i brought him home i discovered at evening time that he is infested with fleas also they were all over his blanket. Remember i had him for 10 days with no fleas until the day i took him to this hospital. When i called them to complain they said " Its ok puppies are vulnerable to catch fleas, just bring him back and we will treat him for free." What the F***** .

I cannot say enough great things about the Doctors and Staff at Animal Medical Center. I only wish I would had found them sooner! Dr. Hofmeister and Dr. Allen helped me through a very difficult time with my 17 year old cat. They gifted me with an extra two years of good health for my cat through their extraordinary care. The wonderful ladies at the front desk and the professional, caring vet techs were always there to answer my questions. They helped me as much as they did my cat!!!! I am forever grateful for their excellent care!

It was my long hair cats 1st visit to the AMCM and I was delighted to find that cats had their own room for visits complete with pheromones being wafted into the air to help calm her. I was expecting that the vet would need to shave the fur down her spine to get out the really nasty matts that had developed, but Dr. Donna just very patiently and gently proceeded to comb through each matt separately until my kitty was wonderfully silky again. Totally stress-free: both for my cat and me. Bravo!

I cannot say enough about the doctors and staff at the Animal Medical Center of Middletown. They have always been very friendly and courteous and have shown real concern in the well being of my pets. I have two small dogs with a variety of medical needs and a limited schedule and budget to provide for their needs. The team in Middletown have always been able to work within my schedule and budget to provide excellent care for my little guys. I highly recommend them to all pet owners.

Weve been taking our 2 lab rescues to Animal Medical Center for several years and we couldnt be happier with the care and attention we receive. 2 weeks ago, our black lab had a growth removed and she has had to have the stiches replaced multiple times. Dr. Judy, Dr. Allen and the entire staff have responded to calls after hours and fit my dog in between appointments to take care of her. We are so lucky to have Dr. Judy and her incredible staff taking care of our dogs!
