Had to go to visit brother today in the Emergency Room. He informed me that the Doctor had been in, and told my brother that he was unhappy with him, and that he would not see him until the good Dr had calmed down, then he left the room. He had accused my brother of doping intraveneously, and threatened to have him take a drug test. My brother is a diabetic and has not taken good care of himself, so in a way I could see why the Dr may have "thought" that he was an addict. However, Steve Mcuistic (sp) the Dr or PA was very rude and condasending. I approached him and asked him for another provider, and the guy became irate, and threatened to call the police for asking a question. If this is the way this hospital treats all patients then I will never get sick there! I am happy that I live in TN where the providers are not as rude as this place.

While visiting Murray my husband became ill and was brought to the Murray Calloway County Hospital by ambulance in June 2010. He had multiple symptoms that we were afraid indicated that he was having heart problems (he has had heart attacks in the past and has a stent in place). Long story short, the doctors quickly determined that my husbands symptoms were caused by an inner ear problem NOT by his heart. All hospital personnel were efficient, friendly and professional. We were visitors in Murray so we were even more apprehensive than we would have been in familiar surroundings, but everyone from the first responders to the emergency room personnel performed above and beyond their required duties. Kudos to everyone in the Emergency Department for making out-of-town visitors feel well-cared-for at your hospital.

Went in with extreme high blood pressure 154/114 and then went to the room where they ask you same stupid questions, and I asked the dumb inbred nurse to check my BP and she said, oh they will do it in the back after I said I felt like I was gonna pass out most of the day. Then months back they released a guy whom had a seizure and told him he will be o.k and as he exited the sliding entrance doors he fell face first through the doors causing them to sling completely off track and he broke his nose, his jaw, and then they had to rush him to emergency surgery. I pray this hospital burns to the Ground. Commercial says 5 star, ha, ha, ha, lol where at? I have walked out of here several times, so for now on I will go to mayfield or Tennessee.

I had my son here 7 yrs ago. Child birth can sometimes be difficult etc but other than the birthing experience its self the only real complaint I have was a nurse who did my catheter. After I told them more than once i didnt want any students practicing on me she still let her do it and she it not only was painful but i also experienced extremely swelling and infection even after we were discharged. Now I have my 3rd son on the way ive learned to be more ballsy and know what to expect. Ill be going back to this hospital in fact i drive 30 mins out of my way bc i love my Dr and the ward much more than my local.

My son and his wife just had their first baby here two days ago. Since then (yesterday), she has been diagnosed with HELLP Syndrome. Last night, only one person was allowed to stay with her in her room. My son was told by a nurse he was useless the night before, so only her mom was allowed to stay, and she kicked him out of the room. This is just one example of how poorly they have been treated. I have given birth to six kids, and have never had such negative experiences.

the worst experience of my life when I herniated a disc in my back the nurses did not believe me when I was on the ground screaming in pain after they told me I could not stay and tried to walk out and fell on the ground they left me on the ground for at least 5 minutes before they gave me anything for pain. They thought I was doctor shopping I will never go back unless absolutely necessary.

I had the best treatment in my procedure yesterday, with the nurses and staff. Thank you Lori and Sandy for your skills of nursing and to Dr Stanczyk for his skill in his field

To be treated fairly at this hospital depends on who you know and how much money you have

Garbage, they will let you die here. If it is something serious, go to another hospital.
