Ordered a new pair of glasses w/ rimless frames at the Annapolis location just before Memorial Day 2017. The total for the new pair came to over $800.00 which was fine because I knew it would be expensive (thank god for vision insurance). Was told that it would take a week to 10 business days for get my glasses as Lenscrafters doesnt make rimless glasses in their stores. I received a call that the glasses were in by the following Tuesday which made me suspicious but I went to pick them up anyway. [ I never realized that the frames you try-on are the frames that you will receive.] I wore the glasses for a couple of days and felt that the prescription was not correct. I knew this because at the time I purchased these glasses, Lenscrafters installed my new precription into my older frames. I also noticed that one of the temple pieces was loose and bent in every direction where the other temple piece did not. I returned to the store, on the 4th of July weekend with my rimless glasses and the store examined my glasses and said that the prescription was little different from the other pair. They also, after my convincing them that the flexibility of the one temple piece was not correct, re-measured me for new frames and said again that it would be 7 - 10 working days for the new glasses to arrive at the store. Well I received a call 8 working days into this period and was told that the frames I wanted were backordered and it would be another 2 weeks, at least to have my new glasses. I guess the bottom line is that apparently $800.00 doesnt buy you much with Lenscrafters and for future eyeglass purchases, I will be going elsewhere.

I once had a decent experience there, but not yesterday. They told me they didnt have any appointments until later, so I scheduled and my husband and I went to lunch. Got back 10 minutes before the appointment and told them I had another appointment( 2 1/2 hours) later that day. No problem they said. I sat and sat...they came and got me finally and I thought..o,k..took me in a room for about 5 minutes, then into another waiting room where I waited and waited. Finally a doctor came in spent another 5 minutes with me and left me sitting again. Finally I got an exam. I went up front and was asked if the timing was o.k. I said I would have to come back to go to the next sign-in and wait phase.. because I needed to go to my appointment. She said...oh, you are getting glasses? I didnt know that!! Oh, and she said... the doctor wants you to get 3-4 more tests. I said "he didnt tell me that." She said...oh, he wrote it on the paper. Guess what. Those tests are $30-40 apiece. I took my prescription and left. Today I went elsewhere are ordered my glasses. Bad, bad experience.

I brought in a prescription from another place. I wanted a new style frame that was more up to date. My kids encouraged me to go bold with the frames. I did. I just couldnt get used to the new look. I went back after about 2 weeks and changed to another style frame. No problems no questions. I had a problem with the frames slipping when I looked down so I went back to have them adjusted about 2 or 3 weeks later. While waiting I saw the same frames in a different color that I liked better. They said no problem to change. I had the frames changed. After a few more weeks I decided that the auto tinting when going outside was not for me. (It only takes a few seconds to darken, but many minutes to lighten up. I go in and outside all day with my job, just took to long to lighten up for me.) I went back again, and they changed the lenses to non-tinting and gave me $100.00 back. No problems no questions. 4 big changes, no big deal to them. Great service.

Its a tricky thing that they do with those tests!! You have the option to have them by indicating on the paperwork. I marked mine that I wanted to talk to the doctor about the "dilation only." They marched me through all tests, and yes, $143 later I told them I did not ask for them. Their answer..."oh, the next time you have an exam (in a year) you can tell them that you dont want those tests. Also, I know the glasses side is separate, but I was there Monday and the "server" was down. They will call me when it is up. Now, its Thursday and still no call. So, I have a new prescription, but cant order lenses, pick frames or get measured. I thought I would give these people another chance, but this is the last time I will go there.

I scheduled an appointment one week in advance of my visit at the Lens Crafters in the mall. When I arrived they told me they were on schedule. Then I waited, and waited and finally asked what was going on. They then informed me it would be 50 more minutes until I was seen. I dont want to waste 3 hours on a saturday afternoon for an eye appt. I left there after telling them how poor there customer service was!

Went here after going to a ton of other places to repair my sunglasses with a missing screw. Everyone else said they wouldnt repair them or couldnt. Ashton not only repaired the screw that was missing but he replaced both screws and they felt brand new. He even cleaned them. He did this for free might I add. Ill definitely come back to shop for my eyeglasses in the future.

Horrible service. Lost my glasses I bought recently at LensCrafters. I am travelling so I called to ask to have a copy made. They had all sorts of excuses why they didnt want to do it including they didnt take payment over the phone. Who doesnt take credit card payments these days???? Never again. I have bought glasses there for past 10 years.

Ive two problems with this location. Never enough staff to take care of their unhappy customers. Went in today to have lenes installed that were ordered 10 Days ago. Again no staff to install the lenses. Piss poor customer service . I wont return ever and the worse part they dont seem to care. Buyer beware.
