I took my daughter here for a second opinion and more information after receiving a diagnosis at Target Optical that she has significant astigmatisms. Since I was already driving the 1.5 hours there I decided to have my two sons seen as well, ages 1 and 3. I cannot say enough about the friendliness of the staff and doctor. Not only that, but there are toys, puzzles and books in the generously sized patient rooms so that you can play with an entertain siblings while other children are being examined. I was there for about an hour and a half and it was a very pleasant, non-stressful experience. I usually get a little nervous going to any "appointment" with all three children (which happens often), but the atmosphere and staff here was so kid-friendly it quelled my nerves right away. I was even able to nurse my one-year-old while my daughter was being examined and my 3-year-old son was playing. The doctors demeanor with children is fantastic!!! She kept them on track during the examination by being playful and engaging with them. I was very impressed that she was able to keep my 3-year-old in the seat for at least 20 minutes and get him to accurately answer the questions she was asking him. He is a high energy kid, so that says a lot! This was my first experience with the Infant See eye exam, which helps identify possible vision problems in infants from around 6-12 months. That was also very impressive, as she explained what she could tell by each part of the exam of my 1-year-old. The Infant See program is FREE, so I highly recommend taking your infant examined. The doctor was very clear in her explanations to me and told me I could email her with any questions (which is also rare). I can tell she genuinely loves children (and has children herself) and that she is very knowledgeable and dedicated to providing her patients with the best care!

I made my father an appointment, on the advice of his occupational therapist. After meeting with the neurologist, it was determined that the brain damage causing my fathers vision symptoms was irreparable and therapy was no longer advised as a worthy endeavor. I called to cancel the appointment providing the reason, and the person who facilitated the cancellation said that she would inquire about a refund of my deposit. She initiated the conversation, not me. She said that she would call me back. She never did. Two phone calls later, no one has returned my call. Why not a return call to tell me no, if that is the answer? The occupational therapist who referred my father was surprised and thought they would undoubtedly give a refund based on the circumstances. Yes, I understand that the deposit was presented as non refundable, but I was also told that the deposit was to cover costs not covered by insurance, since their services were not always fully covered. I would not be writing this review if I simply received a return call as promised.

Had our first visit to the Annapolis office this week. Staff was friendly, helpful, and patient with my 10 and 11 year old sons, who were pretty fidgety after a rainy morning inside. Dr. Kungle saw us after a minimal wait and provided a very thorough, informative exam. Her explanation of the outcome for each child was much more detailed than other eye exams we have had. Staff administered further reading-related testing without the need for an additional visit and Dr. Kungle offered immediate feedback. We will definitely be returning.

My optometrist of many years referred me to Dr. Kungle because of my increasing difficulties with focusing and double vision Maintaining single vision while driving was especially difficult. After a thorough examination, Dr. Kungle made several changes in my lenses. The improvement in my vision has been pronounced. Dr. Kungle has my highest recommendations.

My 95 year old mothers occupational therapist referred us to Dr. Kungle and said that she was wonderful; she certainly lived up to our expectations. She was patient, kind, thorough, smart, and seemed to be at the cutting edge of her field. My mom and I are delighted and will return soon. What more could one ask of a doctor?

Only have been to the office twice for testing so far. I am very happy with the staff and how they listen to you. They are great with kids my grandson likes all the doctors so far. One of the best thing is that I have not really had to wait long to be seen.

My daughter has had a great experience so far with her vision therapy. We have seen major improvements in a short amount of time.
