I have used several Arnold, Severna Park, Pasadena and Millersville vets in the past 12 years, I was pleased with Dr. Monica K, the other Dr. Clark "I believe" had left out important info on our first meeting so I didnt see her again. They are quick to get You seen, making improvements in the office but the real problem is they charge entirely too much for their meds, the visit in which I was charged $56 for 2 Clearly marked "SAMPLE" bottles of meds was our last visit. Again I think the Main Doctor, Dr. Monica K. Is a fine Vet and takes great care of the animals she sees, genuinely cares about their health and all around welfare. As a business owner myself I do understand that a profit must be made in order to thrive, I am not complaining about the prices of sevservices or treatment treatments etc. Its the extreme upcharging of medicines (some at over 700% markup) that I didnt agree with, I was also talked to over the phone by a tech that felt the need to flex her nonexistent medical degree and had an attitude when I said that I understood the information she was relaying however I wanted to speak with the Dr. About the situation myself. She then felt the need to call me while I was working just to inform me that the Dr. had called in and she explained the conversation "I guess" to the Dr. And that the Dr. Agreed with her. Really?? Thats very unprofessional and inappropriate.. My Dog and I are now happily seeing a different Dr.

I fully agree with a few of the comments below so I will share my story: I was told to try this place by a close friend of mine and last September, my dog was due for annual shots and some blood work so I scheduled an appointment over the phone with someone who seemed very friendly and helpful. When I got there, I was surprised to be greeted with a cold, unfriendly voice saying "who is this?".. No "Hi" or "How can I help you".. just cold. The receptionist left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. She then told me my dog was "chunky" and started laughing without even knowing his medical condition that leaves it difficult for him to be a "thin" dog. She continued to tell me that he could stand to lose a few. In my opinion, she could stand to lose a few more. The veterinary nurse was extremely pleasant and had a bright smile and really seemed to care about how my dog was going. The veterinarian was also very nice, helpful and knowledgeable.. Dr. H I believe. The cost was not bad at all compared to a lot of other hospitals in the area. I will be returning for the staff and veterinarians but not looking forward to dealing with the receptionist. If I have any more insulting comments thrown at my dog again, I will be forced to continue looking for a new vet.

Bay Hills Animal Hospital used to have A plus service. It was a place we USED to recomend to all our friends. After being customers for over 10 years it may be time for a change. The receptionist is extremly lacking in customer service abilities. Being there first hand proved my suspisions. She sounds sweet when she answers the phone but in person is cold. When it came time to leave the office instead of asking if there was anything else I could be helped with she litterally turned around and all she said was "42 dollars". That was it! I was apalled! Since Dr. Kaiser took over the whole atmosphere has changed. I am in no way putting down her skills as a vetrinarian because she is good. They are no longer customer friendly and are in the buisiness of making money not sincerely helping animals as they used to. Its a shame and a disappointment. Hopefully they read these reviews and make a more positive change starting with their customer service after all there are other offices who still have compassion for animals and are more than willing to take my hard earned money.

So I took my cat to Arnold Vet Hospital(which I felt neutral about) and then from word of mouth later down the road was told to take him to Bay Hills from a nearby neighbor. They said Bay Hills was better and that Arnold Vet hospital sucked. I figured ok, and took my cat to Bay Hills and they talked me into buying this junk called Revolution. They said its comparable to Frontline but better(which would make you think it offered everything Frontline did). Took it home, opened package to read the insert/pamphlet and realized there was NO TICK PROTECTION. Called Bay Hills back to ask if I could return it. They said no because I opened the box(who does not accept opened boxes these days???). So anyways, I was forced to use it and the crap doesnt even work for flea protection. Now Im out $50, gotta go spend another $50 to get Frontline, my cat is not happy and neither are my fiance and I who are now itching. I was not very impressed with my visit to Bay Hills Vet Hosp and will be taking my business back to Arnold Vet Hosp.

I saw the review below and thought it warranted a comment. If service is so awful as claimed to be, then the manager or practice owner should have been contacted personally. Either way, I have found the service at Bay Hills Animal Hospital to be average. When the doctors and staff have the time, then service is exceptional. If the doctors feel rushed or the staff feels overwhelmed, then the service is less than stellar. Truthfully, that is the norm for many businesses. I do not feel like one member of their staff needs to be singled out. If you need to adjust your schedule to avoid visiting a business during a particular time of day or week, then it is time to find a new place to go.

We brought out new rescue, Siggy, in to Bay Hills for the first time a few days after we got him from Animal Control. Hes a vocal German Shepherd, who, at the time, struggled with anxiety greatly. Monica and her team handled him beautifully! I also was put at ease by them. They showed appreciation for our choice to rescue and answered even the most ridiculous questions with kindness and a cheerful attitude. Weve gone back quite a few times since then as weve needed to with this crazy boy, and they always go above and beyond to love both me and our dog. Im so grateful for their work and care of people and animals alike! I have yet to experience a single negative encounter there.
