I saw Cliff, a PA at Doctors First. Very disappointed with the care he gave. He did not listen to my symptoms or my concerns. He assumed he knew my diagnosis before he entered the room, and twisted my words to support his (incorrect) assumptions. He very evidently did not look at the paperwork I took the time to fill out about my history and physical, because if he had looked he wouldnt have had to ask me the same questions over and over again. He also spent more time looking at his computer about the dosage, etc. than evaluating me. He did not address the level of pain I was in or the nausea I was experiencing. The office staff was friendly but unprofessional - they had rap playing loudly throughout the office and were more interested in taking about their weekend than work. Lastly, Cliff almost sent me home without my prescriptions. I had to go back in to ask him for them. Probably one of the worst urgent care experiences I have had. I am an RN that has worked in the ED and also managed a family practitioners office. Dr.Malik should look elsewhere for another PA or NP. Cliff did not instill much confidence in me about his ability to practice medicine. If I ever schedule an appointment here again, it most definitely will be with Dr. Malik.

First, if you are looking for professional care, this is NOT the place for you. I called to schedule an appointment with Dr. Malik, the young lady who answered was very short and snippy with me. I really needed to see the doctor, so I overlooked that. I arrived at my appointment 20 min early (as requested) only to sit for 45 min. I observed, front staff speaking very loudly and unprofessionally. Everyone was looking at their cell phones, sharing with other co-workers laughing loudly. (unacceptable in a working environment) then I see a tall African american woman dancing in the hallway as if she were home. Finally, I was taken to the back where a young lady recorded my vitals and said the doctor will be right in. After sitting another 25 min, the same young woman I saw dancing in the halls (hard to contain my composure) is the "supposedly doctor". Thomas I believe was her name. She looks at me for all of 7 min and rushes out the door stating she has an appointment and asks another young lady to have blood drawn and schedule me back in 10 days???????

I have been coming to Doctors First for years now. I have nothing but great experience. I was quite upset at one occasion when I received a bill form the lab. My labs were drawn right in the office and sent out .The office manager was very supportive and took down my information. She contacted the lab company and the bill was written off .She personally followed up with me to inform me about the outcome of my bill. The office itself is very clean and modern ( I have been to both the Germantown and Gaithersburg office) .The patient portal has been very helpful. Especially when I need refills on medicines . I get automatic reminders by email and phone about upcoming appointments . I have not signed up for text reminders yet (not sure if I want THAT level of remaining !) Over all, I trust all the providers at Doctors First with my health :)

My office visit with Dr Malik was a breeze and I was out in 30 minutes with my prescriptions, next vista schedule and insurance verification. Everything was at par or above my expectation including cleanness, professional staff and fallow up appointment. No issue with parking as it was shaded and secure. Dr Malik bedside manners were the most appealing and Dr Malik ability to understand my issue in a whiff was all icing on the top! I hope I don’t get sick again, but would refer all my family and friends without reservations.

I, and my family have always been treated with courtesy and respect by Dr. Malik, and the entire staff at Doctors First. Dr. Malik always takes the time to listen to our concerns. I am very pleased with the level of professionalism and care that we have received. All communication and refill requests are responded to promptly. Dr. Malik, and Doctors First practice came highly recommended to me by son in law, who is also a physician. Excellent practice!!

I really love this medical team Dr. Brittany Lundberg is fantastic; her staff is also great. It never takes long to get an appointment; I love getting a personal phone call about any test results and follow up. Truly a great professional team. Wonderful office as well; the examination room has Interactive video of all kind of medical information and trivia. Again I just love this team!

We have never felt rushed and Dr Malik always spends time with us addressing our concerns. The offices are clean and modern and the supporting staff polite and friendly. I saw Renee(Physician Assistant ) for my annual examination. She was thorough and understanding . I got my labs collected while at the office and the PA called me personally to go over the results a few days later. I am impressed by the online patient portal. Have been able to use it a few time to get some of my questions answered regarding my health. :) GREAT OFFICE!!

Day didnt start off well. I had 940 appt. only to show up and find out the PA wasnt there. I didnt even receive a call to give me a heads up. Was offered a 1020 appt., which I accepted. Zorina Thomas was terrific! She was attentive to my needs, was courteous, friendly and professional. The visit exceeded my expectations.

showed up 10 minutes before my 9 am appointment, and ended up waiting over an hour with an appointment! staff was courteous however. its been two since my appointment to get my stitches removed and im finding and pulling out by hand stitches in the back of my head, this experience was a waste of time, never again
