Ive been a patient of Dr. Brian Granek’s for many years and today was the first time I had the good fortune to visit him in his new office in Owings Mills. Wow…is all I can say. As soon as I walked through the door I knew right away my experience was going to be second to none. The office was bright and cheerful unlike most doctors’ offices. The professionalism of the staff was also something I have not seen in a very long time. Dr. Granek’s staff actually enjoys what they do for a living. They were pleasant, friendly and very helpful. When Dr. Granek came in to the waiting room he greeted me just as he would an old friend. Catching up with Brian is always a nice treat, hearing about what’s been happening in his world and he truly takes an interest in what’s been happening in my world. How many other physicians do you know really take the time or really care in this fast paced world we live in today? Catching up with Brian isn’t even the best part….the best part is now that Brian has his own practice he has invested in some of the best technology equipment out there in his field. He is completely automated and digital……to the point I didn’t even have to have my eyes dilated. This in itself is so awesome! I wear contact lenses and have since I was a sophomore in high school. I actually found Dr. Granek because I was having issues with my contact lenses. I needed to find an eye doctor who specialized in fitting difficult contact lenses patients. Dr. Granek came highly recommended and I have never regretted becoming one of his patients. Dr. Granek is a perfectionist when it comes to his patients….he doesn’t stop until he gets your vision the very best he can get it. Dr. Granek never gets frustrated, annoyed or angry. He never gives up until it’s right! I love this about him. So, if you are looking for an eye doctor who will take a vested interest in you, your eye vision, and a professional staff who can’t wait to help you, Dr. Granek is the doctor you’re looking for. When you join his practice, you join the family! Welcome to the Family!!

A little over a year ago I wanted to get some new glasses and contact lenses. I did a internet search for eye doctors who were close to my home and accepted my insurance. I ended up randomly selecting Dr. Granek and Visionary Eye Care. I made an appointment during off hours using the internet appointment scheduler and was contacted by the office at the beginning of the next business day. The office staff was friendly and very professional and my appointment was confirmed. On the day of my appointment I arrived a few minutes early and expected to simply be handed some forms to fill out and told to wait. When I arrived, Dr. Granek was at the front desk speaking with one of his staff members. He immediately acknowledged my presence and personally went over the forms I needed to fill out. As soon as I was finished with the forms I followed him back to his exam room for the eye exam. Dr. Granek spent at least 15 minutes simply talking to me. It was a very casual conversation much of which had nothing to do with my eyes. He seemed to be genuinely interested in getting to know me as a person and not just a patient. The exam was excellent. Dr. Granek was very thorough and was more than willing to answer my questions. After the exam we had more conversation and I left feeling like a very special patient. This was one of the longest eye exams I have ever had because the doctor showed a genuine interest in me and the health of my eyes. I have recommended Dr. Granek to many of my friends and family and will continue to do so. I absolutely love this office.

I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Granek and his tremendous abilities never ceased to amaze me. He greeted me by name, explained the entire exam process, and was friendly, warm, and clearly and expert in his field.  I had some concerns, with my particular condition that were addressed professionally, with great care and concern, that one would get from a family doctor, truly personal one-to-one care that is unmatched. Dr. Granek’s office is clean, comfortable and well appointed with the latest technology, and its clear he is using state of the art tools to practice the most accurate, and detailed form of his craft. I truly wanted to thank you and your staff for the excellent service, care and compassion.

Dr. Granek and his team at Visionary Eye Care are hands-down the best optometrists office I have been to. I have come back to Visionary Eye Care three times in a row now because of the excellent experience I have had there, even though I now live 30 minutes away. Dr. Granek is very friendly and easy-going. He has made the usually uncomfortable process of getting our eye exam and made it an enjoyable experience. He is a master at chit-chat, to the point that you hardly even notice the exam. Even though I am only there once a year, he seemed to remember things our last conversation like it was yesterday. The opticians are always nice and helpful in explaining what my insurance will cover. I have been wearing glasses almost my entire life and have a somewhat strong Rx. Each time I have sat down with one of the opticians, they have explained all the different features that I can get on my glasses. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Dr. Granek provides a very thorough examination and I have never felt rushed or ignored as I have at other providers offices. He is very professional but manages to infuse his easy going manner into his interactions so that I feel comfortable. Dr. Granek is patient and explains his findings as well as his treatment recommendations and plans in a manner that is easily understood. He listens to my concerns and responds to my questions with honesty and integrity. I feel that Dr. Granek and I are partners in the care of my vision. Dr. Graneks staff is both personable and professional. Whenever I am in the office they are friendly and efficient. I feel they genuinely care about any requests I have, whether it is to order contact lenses or speak with Dr. Granek, and handle them quickly and satisfactorily. I only wish I could give Dr. Granek and his staff more than five stars in this review - they deserve it!

Ive been to a number of different offices ranging from Wal-Mart to super high end boutiques, and this is hands down the best place Ive ever visited. Everyone on staff makes you feel welcome whether youre there for a pick up, an appointment, to ask questions, or to schedule an appointment. Dr. Granek always makes my family feel like were the only patients he has during our visits, and never once has made us feel rushed or like a number. Were always extremely happy when we pick up our contacts and glasses. The glasses selection is great, and it isnt over the top regrading prices. Weve always felt we got exactly what we wanted for the right price. I would highly recommend using Visionary Eye Care exclusively for all your needs if you live in Baltimore County, or even outside of the immediate area.
