AWFUL!!! I arrived 15 minutes early for my 9:30 appointment to have time to fill out the usual paperwork. I was greeted less than warmly, to put it mildly. Their website is not up-to-date on the insurances they accept, apparently, because my secondary insurance was rejected. I waited in the cramped waiting room until 9:50, when another unfriendly person brought me into an examination room. I asked a series of questions normally answered on the intake paperwork, told to put some paper on, and the doctor would be in shortly. At 10:17, the doctor walked in, no apologies, no acknowledgement that my appointment was over 45 minutes ago, no "thanks for waiting." Instead, I was subjected to a mini-inquisition - "Why are you here? Where have you been before? What have you had done?" Then, here are some samples, here are some pamphlets to look at for things you can buy. Then the lecture started, and about a minute into it I told the doctor I was going to leave. My take-aways - I understand now why everyone who works in this office is so miserable. Id be miserable if I continued to be this womans patient, so I can only imagine how I would be if I worked for her. Apparently 45 minutes is a normal time to wait after your appointment, based on the lack of acknowledgement from the doctor and staff about this complete lack of respect for my time. On my way out, I asked what would happen if I was 45 minutes late for my appointment; I bet you already know the answer because I did. The only reasons I am giving 1 star is because I cant give 0 stars and because they refunded my co-payment without me even asking for them to do so. If you still choose to go to this provider, bring your patience and your next meal because youll be waiting.

After reading some reviews on Dr. Hines, it is pretty clear to me that the same individual or group of people are using the anonymity of the internet to attempt to destroy reputation. Either that or Massachusetts is truly lost to whining, spoiled, progressive women-children. I can assure you that you will find the negative reviews comical once you actually meet the doctor. I have seen Dr. Hines for two procedures and two follow ups. She is straight business... just what I want in a doctor. She doesnt coddle or sugarcoat, she drives solutions. She is also extremely polite and personable. I have never met a doctor who will schedule me in so quickly, do a thorough exam, and then do a surgical procedure in the same visit with a high amount of skill. Both procedures were sub-dermal, and could have left a scar... Both procedures were painless, I was stitched with amazing skill and care, and I literally have no visible scars on my face. If you want to be babied or treated like a child, find someone who will waste your time and take your money while doing nothing for the health of your skin. If you want results fast, and a skilled doctor... I highly suggest you work with Dr. Hines.

I wish there was an option for no stars at all. Dr. Hines is super rude with a very "as a matter of fact" attitude. Obviously I am going to a specialist for help because I am unaware of what is happening with my skin. There is no reason to be talked down to as if what is going on with my skin is obvious to someone who doesnt practice dermatology. I was given an ointment and told to use sunscreen with no real explanation of what what happening to my skin. I was also prescribed a medication that I called the office a total of 11 times in order to get a prior authorization processed through my insurance. I ended up giving up and have not called & since then, months later, the RX has yet to be filled. The facility is EXTREMELY outdated and super dirty. I DO NOT recommend this facility for ANY type of service. Dr. Hines should brush up on her bedside manner. Not happy. I was looked at for a total of 7 minutes, left with no diagnosis and was charged a $50.00 specialist copayment. There was nothing SPECIAL about this doctor or facility.

While it is true that my appointments have not always started on time or been quick once Ive been placed in an exam room it is my experience that the delay is caused by an extensive amount of attention and an eagerness to help. Dr Hines has been very attentive and worked with me on some things that others have quickly dismissed without a moment of thought. She is always polite, informative and professional. I fully intend to see her for any/all future dermatological needs. (I believe that some of the other reviews are false. Compare them to each other and youll see that they seem to be written by the same person. Hopefully these review sites/services will get their act together and find a way to crackdown on fake reviews whether positive or negative.))

My first appointment i showed up 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork and whatnot, but ended up waiting an hour past my scheduled time. When they called me in, I had to wait another 30 minutes in the patients room. Doctor hines finally bipped in for 2 minutes to ask a few questions and left anagin, leaving me to suffer another 10 minutes. Doctor hines couldnt have spent more than 5 minutes total with me and yet I was there for close to two hours. I wanted to wait until after my second visit to write this review, but Im at it right now and its looking like the first. -update- Its been 45 minutes thus far here at my checkup appointment.

First Appt Dr. Hines came in didnt even look at me sat down said who she was and asked why i was in. Told her what i thought i had she said yup you do. I was thinking well when did you even look at me from coming through the door and taking a seat. She asked me nothing gave me samples and a prescription and left. An exam would have been nice. A PLEASANT Dr. would have been nice. That was about 8 months ago. I made one last appt today. I cant find another Dr. close. If she is as rude as she was last time, I am going to let her know all about it!

i got an appointment very quickly...they took a scraping of my skin on the same day and within minuites had lab work done and diagnosed me....no waiting anxiously for results...AND i dont have insurance and usually have to pay insane amounts out of pocket but they only charged me 80 dollars for the visit....and gave me enough samples of my prescription to last the whole time i needed it....I HIGHLY RECOMEND HINES DERMATOLOGY....Dr. Hines is quite a character as well .....youll see what i mean.....

Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. My wait was about what I would expect in a busy doctors office, nothing too crazy. Doctor Hines and her nurse were both very nice and got right down to business with taking care of my problem. She gave me a few options and she recommended what she thought was the best way to go. I was recommended to her by a friend and I would recommend her to another friend. Wonderful Experience.

VERY UNFRIENDLY from begining to end. The staff never smile..waited 45 minutes in the waiting room and another 45 minutes in the exam room. No other patients waiting to be seen. Had two visits with the same long wait and the same unfriendly staff. Dr. Hines had absolutely NO bedside manner. Patients are what keep you in business..be kind and hire staff that are friendly and smile.
