After my easy drive to Dr. Lesters office on Cypress St, I was relieved to find easy parking and was received by assertive receptionists in the very clean office. Dr. Lester has a cheery disposition and excellent bedside manner. I felt that his exam was thorough while maintaining efficiency and comfort. When I had a question about my medicine, the nurses got back to me right away and I spoke to the doc himself. Ive been under his care for just one month so far to treat my acne and it is already showing significant improvement. Expect to wait about 5-10 minutes at the office, but in my experience thats pretty good for a dermatologist. I really appreciate that I was able to get my initial appointment in just a matter of hours where most other places in town were booking months from now. I highly recommend Brookline Dermatology!

I went last June for some scar treatment. After waiting for over half an hour, I met with an assistant who told me that no laser treatments could be done because the only technician qualified to use the machine was away that week. They suggested that I go to a different dermatology office, which I did, but then several weeks later I got a bill for $250 from these people! They didnt provide any service, but they billed me for what was generically coded as a "cosmetic procedure". I called several times to have them correct the error. The receptionists always said shed "look into it" but refused to acknowledge that the bill was an error. Now Im getting threatened by collections agencies. I will never come back to this crooked, sleazy, incompetent business again.

Dr. Lester has been fantastic, as has the team at Brookline Dermatology. They always seem to be on time, or close to it. The front desk staff is very professional and friendly, which is hard to find! Dr. Lester found and removed some scary skin cells for me a few years back. He did a beautiful stitching job. I go on a regular basis now for checkups and have used some of their cosmetic services since and I wouldnt dream of going anywhere else.

Usually on-time, always professional. He found melanoma at an early stage. Likely saved my life. Check your insurance as this kind of thing can be expensive.
