Earl - Apr 11, 2012 It was a very lucky day when my ophthalmologist recommended Dr. Leibole. Fifteen years ago I first had Lasik. My vision improved, but I still needed glasses for distant vision. Over the years, my vision began fluctuating so I was spending a lot of money on glasses. In addition, my eyes were very uncomfortable and I had been diagnosed with dry eye syndrome. After a complete history and a very thorough eye evaluation, Dr. Leibole determined that I was suffering from side effects of the first Lasik procedure. He explained that the newest generation of equipment would most likely correct my problems. He was right. The surgery was very easy. Immediately, my dry eye sensation was gone. By 6 weeks, my vision was 20/20 in one eye and 20/16 in the other. Unbelievable. He hit a home run. Dr. Leibole is not only a gifted surgeon, but he is also a great guy. He makes you feel like you are the most important person in the world. He never rushes you and he answers every question thoroughly. Post procedure he watched me closely and saw me frequently, which I greatly appreciated. As would be expected with a doctor who is people oriented, his staff is just like him. They are warm, friendly and willing to do just about anything to help you and to make the overall experience as easy as possible. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Leibole with not a single reservation.

Eye care and Laser Surgery of Newton was UNBELIEVABLE from my first consultation to every follow up visit. Not even getting started on Dr. Leibole, the office staff were friendly, professional and extremely helpful. As for the doc, what more can you ask for? The mans a damn genius. Ive spent my entire life legally blind and after my surgery I have 20/10 vision!!!! (for those who dont know that is the "conceived limited of the human retina." look up Ted Williams eye sight). Not only did he achieve perfection in my surgery, he did it in 20 minutes and then gave me his personal cell phone (note: other docs I had consultations told me the office wouldnt even be open the next day and that Id be "fine". Granted I was fine, but its nice to know the doc is ready if there is an issue. All and all I would recommend them 100%. After your consultation you will not only feel comfortable taking the plunge and "risking" getting eye surgery, you will know you can trust no one else. Honestly, at this point Id probably trust him to perform open heart surgery on me.

This past holiday season I received the most valuable gift I could have hoped for…the gift of restored vision. With the support of my family, I decided to undergo a Lasik vision procedure at Dr. Marc Leibole’s office at Newton-Wellesley Hospital. To say I am pleased with the results would be an understatement. I am now seeing 20/10 and I have regained the confidence to do things I once accepted as not possible due to my deteriorating vision. It’s impossible for me to quantify the value this procedure added to my quality of life. The procedure itself was pain and worry free, and the staff at Dr. Liebole’s office was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and most importantly, compassionate. They helped ease my concerns prior to the procedure and have remained an ongoing support as I continue with my post-procedure life. If you are considering this procedure I would highly recommend Dr. Liebole’s vision center at Newton-Wellesley

When I decided I wanted laser surgery my eye doctor referred me to Dr. Leibole, who had performed her lasik surgery. Im going on 2 years post surgery and couldnt be happier. The surgery was easy and painless. You literally walk in with glasses and walk out without them. I feel like my eyes see in HD now! I tended not to wear my glasses as much as I should and Ive received a lot of comments that I dont squint anymore. Maggie, Andy and the rest of Dr. Leiboles staff have always been the utmost friendly and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Leibole.

Dr. Leibole spent a lot of time with me discussing my lasik procedure. His office staff was very friendly. I almost felt a part of his family. I have recommended Dr. Leibole to several of my friends.

Worst Office I ever visited...Office help was rude, arrogant, not very helpful, and unprofessional...too much socializing and ignoring long patient waits....Doctor on the other hand was wonderful...
