I go here because the alternative is to drive to Kazoo on a regular basis. I go to Day one for allergy shots that my allergist in Kazoo gives them permission to give. While the nurses are usually nice they arent the most competent. It seems like they always have a new nurse that they are training to give shots. They never read up on my history or notes sent from my allergist until I prompt them because Im disagreeing with what they want to do. They will yell at you if you disagree with them too much even if you are in the right. They hustle you in and out of your appointments like you are cattle. I dont feel like anyone really listens or cares. I went here as a follow up to a car accident after being released from the hospital 3 years ago. I was in terrible pain and was bruised all over. They wanted to immediately put me on blood pressure meds because my blood pressure was high. Well duh, if you feel miserable and in pain your blood pressure can be very high. Meds shouldnt be your first treatment. Getting someone feeling better should have been. Figuring out what was causing my pain should have been a priority but wasnt with them. Turned out they should have done an MRI and they never did. If you miss an appointment by accident you are charged $50 and sent a nasty gram by their office. If you need to get back in for an appointment they put you on a 8 week list because even though they have appointments they dont want to give them to you because you missed one and you are in trouble. This behavior tells me they dont like their patients it is just about the bottom line. Accidents happen, they have no idea if I missed my appointment because I was in the hospital or even died. Nasty grams should never be sent they are rude. Ive highly thought about going elsewhere its just trying to find and figure out who is a decent doctor in Battle Creek, MI

No Results, just Prescriptions.......................... I was a patient at this office for many years. Found that the turnover of Doctors/Nurses/Staff was so high that no one knew me or my situation. Felt like an assembly line getting in and out along with giving me medication instead of finding out what caused my pain. I spent over 5 years trying to find out what was wrong and was told I have IBS and had to "Deal" with it. After getting fed up with the pain I received a few recommendations for a new doctor and my new doctor did tests and found out my Gall Bladder was only functioning at a 30% effeciency and I am lactose intolerant. Day One Health Care does not do a great job in any aspect of their business.

I have been using day one as healthcare provider for 7 years+. DO NOT USE THEM. they just want money and do not do their jobs. On three seperate occasions they have failed to send prescriptions. Phone calls are not returned promptly if at all. Even when i had pneomonia i was supposed to recieve antibiotics, they never sent script. I ended up with 105 fever. Theyre staff is incompetent. They blamed it on me when i called to ask saying i should have called to remind them to do their jobs. Also it took 3 appointments to finally get referred to a specialist for my herniated disc in back, each time saying nothing is wrong with me. Finally i said enough with this place.

Every doctor, nurse practitioner Ive seen has been fantastic. I suffer severe headaches, clusters and migraines and when I call I get right in so I can get a shot to break the cycle. Ive never felt like "cattle" an "assembly line" or any of the negative crap stated in previous reviews. It is all in your expectations and what is going on. If there is a flew pandemic going on and they are swamped, well....I have type two diabetes and heart problems and they are right on top of it. I love Abby, Doc Lovio, and Doc Kinsel, wouldnt go anywhere else!

I have been going to Dayone since Dr. Galonsky joined its staff. I have always received great and personal care. They go above and beyond the need of their patients. However they do seem to have a huge turn over of help on the front desk. It makes it very hard to communicate with them at times because you never get to know them well enough to be comfortable talking to them.

There has apparently been a change in ownership of this practice. Level of care and level of CARING has taken a nosedive. Like another reviewer wrote, there appears to be a mission of pushing a quantities of patients through the door. Based on my encounter there this week, I have requested my medical records and will be looking elsewhere for primary care treatment.

They used to care now they seem to be only interested in patient turnover. If it is something simple then they are ok. If you want someone to actually listen then go somewhere else.

A one stop place for nearly all your health care needs. They take care of it all from pediatric to geriatric and a lot in between.
