I did not have good dental work experiences as a child and I carry some baggage with me from memories of those trips to the dentist. As an adult, I have only been to a couple of dentists and am very careful about who I go to and dont make changes easily. I am a new patient to Halonen Familly Dentistry in 2015. I had been considering becoming a patient at their office and then had a filling break. It seemed like the optimal time to make a change and be the first in my family to have work done by Dr. Todd. I wanted to make sure I was confident in his abilities prior to taking my son to him. I called at about 5:30 on a Wednesday and was shocked when someone picked up the phone. My prior dentist had very limited office hours and I was not expecting the office to still be open after 5pm. The receptionist that answered the phone was very friendly and accommodating. She found time in Dr. Todds schedule the next day to fit me in and allow him to assess the damage. Not only did he assess the damage, but he also fixed my tooth temporarily. What was supposed to have been a 10 minute visit crammed into his day became 45 minutes. I experienced zero pain and was grateful. Subsequently, I went in for the permanent fix. I was in the dental chair for approximately one hour and Dr. Todd never left my side. This was also shocking to me, as my previous dentist would come and go throughout my appointments. Dr. Todd took time to thoroughly explain to me everything he was doing and again I had zero pain. My third appointment was to get the permanent crown put on. Dr. Todd did this with no Novocaine and again I had no pain. My tooth has been completely fixed and I have had no problems. The most amazing thing to me was that on the days that Dr. Todd worked on my tooth a couple of hours later I could not even tell I had been to the dentist. Absolutely zero evidence that I had dental work done and no pain. I highly recommend Dr. Todd to everyone and could not be more pleased with my new dentist office. I am grateful.

Ive been very pleased with the Halonens Dental Practice. Dr. Rod, Susan and Todd have all been very professional performing in what most people consider to be something less than a pleasant experience. They have always taken the time to explain any procedures that I may have experienced and any or all options pertaining to those procedures. The entire staff in their office have always made me feel welcome and treat me like I was a family member. Couple all of this with a great view from any of the chairs and a wonderful sense of humor from the entire staff and you have what I consider to be a great dental practice. The only practice I would rate higher would be Elevation Dental in Evergreen, Colorado with Dr. Kelly Smith Last. But Hey!, shes my niece.

I heartily recommend Halonen Family Dentistry. Every associate there is polite, professional, unfailingly cheerful and helpful from the minute you walk in the door until the time you leave. The office and equipment are extremely clean, the staff is well groomed & clean, too. They take care to keep their hands and mouths covered and the instruments clean. Your comfort is paramount, they make sure that they explain everything, answer any questions you may have. I had a cleaning and two fillings done and it was quick and painless. Going to the dentist is one of my least favorite things, but this office makes it as pleasant as it could possibly be. I have been to 5 other dentists in my life, and this is definitely the best I have ever been to.

My family and I had been regular customers of the HFD ever since 2000. I am well pleased and satisfy with the way they handle our dental cares. We were treated cordially and professionally. However, after Dr. Todd started taking care of us, we felt somehow uncomfortable with his way of dealing especially with my wife. He gave me root canal treatment once, but unluckily it has to be retreated because of infection at the site off and on. When I went and complained to him, he referred me to another specialist. I had to pay double the price for the same treatment. Thus, we were reluctantly compelled to move to other dentist. However, we still will remain thankful to Dr.. Rod and Susan Halonen

Our dentistry needs have been served by the Halonen Family and their associates for over 40 years. Owing to a few bad experiences in my past, I was apprehensive when I first approached them but, after my first couple of visits I was completely at ease. None of the extensive repairs to my teeth has ever required re-doing and Ive been very appreciative of the care that is taken to prevent the pain that I initially feared.. The equipment is constantly being updated and the entire staff is as personable and professional as Drs. Rodney & Susan. Now that Dr. Todd has joined the family practice, I have full onfidence that the wonderful care will continue as long as I am around.

I can honestly say, after 32 years of age, I have FINALLY found a Dentist that I feel comfortable with!! I have always had a bit of anxiety, when it came down to going to the Dentist. Now, I actually feel upset if I have to cancel or reschedule! The entire staff is super friendly and easy to work with. My husband and I have talked and now plan on moving all of our (3) kids and him over to Halonen Family Dentistry! Thank you, Dr Rod! You and your entire team are fabulous!

The staff is professional, friendly, and helpful. Drs. Todd and Rod spend time with you during your procedure and explain whats going on with your mouth and how you need to change things for your health. They really care about your health. They are also gentle in their procedures. They only refer to great specialists, and I would refer any family or friend to Halonen Family Dentistry.
