My little miniature dachshund "Peanut", got hurt on a Saturday 6:00 pm; since my vet was closed, I called one of emergency animal clinics [found out the outrageous prices they asked], when we were on our way, my son found “Animal Hospital in Chesterfield” called them and they said that they will close at 8:00 pm, so we switched our destination to them. Moments after explaining the issue to the receptionist, we got a doctor checking if the pet was really in need of an urgent care, she decided it could wait. Nevertheless, my pet received best care; (and since I was in a hurry, I did not have my pet’s vaccinations history with me) they scanned my pet’s chip and retrieved what vaccinations had (which was awesome). 2 days later got a follow-up phone call from “Animal Hospital in Chesterfield”, asking how my dog was doing, (another kudos to “Animal Hospital in Chesterfield”) Bottom line, I was very pleased with the services provided with very reasonable prices, and recommend Animal Hospital in Chesterfield as a place for pets medical needs.

My 4 month old puppy developed a tumor on his neck that was rapidly increasing in size. The lump was about the size of a golf ball and considering it was located on his neck I was quite concerned. I called Animal Hospital of Chesterfield they second they opened (8:00AM) stating I was concerned about the rapid growth of a lump on my 4 month old puppys neck. I was told they were "booked for the day" but they could see me later that day at 6:00PM. Ten hours later?! Obviously upset I told them I would go elsewhere and the receptionist laughed and said okay. Wish I had the conversation recorded. I called another local vet and they saw him immediately. Very disappointment they could not take 5 mins out of there day to look at my puppy. Mind you I had been taking my puppy there the last 4 months spending hundreds of dollars. A ten hour wait for an emergency is not good enough for me. I dont know about you... Cannot recommend in good faith.

Have waited 15-30 minutes in very crowded reception area that is very narrow. Then wait again once a room is cleared. Very few people introduce themselves, not knowing if you are talking to vet, LVT, or desk staff. Focus seems to be over book, clear rooms and daycare boarding. No complaints about DVM, but hard to establish on going relationship with ongoing rotation.

This is our standard vet for our Corgi and Shiba Inu. We have always taken them here. Very kind and professional. They have a little trouble on their names but hey its ok. I will like to see their prices come down a little they are reasonable for the area. We still go here even after we moved from Chesterfield to another city.

Like it! I guess the last time we took are golden retriever there one of the Vets came off on the harsh side .. really wasnt there to witness it. Everyone seemed pretty much " into there jobs" and it was a very clean atmosphere also! :) I will return.

They took great care of my 2 year old Lab when I needed him neutered recently. The staff really seems to care. Dr. Balfe and Kimberly the head receptionist are the 2 you should ask for! They really are concerned about your pet.

The staff were great. The prices were great. Just used for one surgical procedure. They booked within a couple days off calling. They let me know what the prices would be ahead of time and everything was very orderly.

If you dont have every penny for a life saving treatment upfront they will suggest you kill your pet.. That was freely admitted. If you do go here I suggest seeing Dr. Balfe, shes the only one who seemed to truly care.
