Please read why I am rating this 1 star. I spoke to the receptionist on the phone about Tapeworm medication. I was not sure if they were able to sell it over the counter, neither was she. She was getting fairly irritated by the fact that I was adamant on knowing what my cats have. I have ran a cat rescue, and Im fairly certain when it comes to different things that can happen to cats. She reluctantly asks the vet, who is in with clients, about this medication. She responds back with they cannot. I said thats fine, I was looking for a closer vet instead of traveling to Ann Arbor. I ask her the prices for the vet fee, and then asked if each of them would have to stool-sampled since they share a litter box. Regardless, Tapeworm is transmitted by fleas and eating other animals who have it. She got extremely rude with me and said she had already asked the vet a question and was not going to continue interrupting her. I asked her if she could write my number down and call back whether it be today, or tomorrow, and let me know so I could make the appointment. I wasnt going to pay for a stool sample for 4 cats individually when only one would need tested - so thats a legit question to ask someone when vet costs are expensive. Her response was, "you know what, hold on." and she put me on hold. She was extremely rude. I called back to hear her name, and hopefully I have the right person. Dear Lindsey, This is your job. If you do not like answering questions for others who are calling a business for a certain need - do not take a job. Go back to school, earn a degree, and then you can be the veterinarian instead of the receptionist. You were extremely rude, inconsiderate, and out of line for someone who took on a role to be a receptionist. Your attitude will not get you far in life, and I seriously hope that your place of employment disciplines you for this. All it will take is for a few more people to experience your bad attitude and VetSelect Animal Hospital of Dearborn will eventually lose business. Unbelievable.

Vet Select is absolutely the finest vet office you could encounter. Dr. Schrier is caring, knowledgeable, compassionate and above all gives of her time with your pet. We have been clients for many years and we travel some miles for her expert care but would not consider changing venues even though there are two vet hospitals extremely close to us. The most important aspect of the visits to Dr. Schrier is that our Airedales have always been happy going in to see her and be examined by her. The atmosphere is quiet and calm even when they are very busy which is important for the pet being examined. All in all, my husband and I are extremely grateful for having Dr. Schrier as part of our "medical" family and Tess is too! Our visit last week, March 1 was again a very positive visit with Dr. Schrier and the care exhibited by the staff outstanding. Thank you Vet Select

I have been so pleased with the care my pets have received at Vet Select Dearborn. The staff is friendly and kind and I am always at ease knowing my animals will be handled gently and given lots of love even though a trip to the vet is stressful and anxiety producing. My pets are aging and I have found Dr. Schrier to be so knowledgeable of the aging process in both dogs and cats and I never feel as though she is rushing me, taking lots of time explaining things. Her compassion for animals (and for their owners) really shows and I truly appreciate all she has done for us. I would not go anywhere else!

Dr Shrier is a good vet that helped with the loss of our first dog Magglio, but I just couldnt keep reconciling their prices. I had a quote for a removal of papillomas on my new pups lip and biopsy of them come in at $700-$800. I went to a new vet and they quoted only $200-$300. Also, not having walk-ins and having to resort to even more expensive emergency vets in an emergency is really a let down.

It is so nice to know that when my kitties need help this office is just a phone call away. The doctor couldnt be nicer. She knows just how to handle my sweeties and also how to treat me as their owner. She doesnt rush any decision. Always friendly! The office staff seems to love the animals a bunch too and that just makes me feel good. Friendly and caring. You can count on them.

I brought my first Labrador, Colt, to VetSelect over 10 years ago. The wonderful Doctors and staff took such good of him. He loved going to the vets! He has since passed, but I have continued to use VetSelect for my new puppy, Jake. I know he will receive the same wonderful care from the Doctors and staff. Thank-you

When we had a family member cross the Rainbow Bridge, it was our first appointment with them, as we were new to the neighborhood. They were very compassionate and made every effort to make his passing as comfortable as possible, for us and him, even sending a keepsake paw print.
