We just had such a horrible experience at Animal Care Hospital. I usually only take the time to write good reviews for places but after the "care" we received I feel I need to inform people of this facility. First off we waited in the exam for over 40 minutes to seen. When the doctor did come in he did not introduce himself, was not friendly, or professional at all. We were there to have my dogs anal glands looked at and I had some questions and concerns that I wanted to discuss but all the doctor kept saying was bring him in every 6 months for expression and watch if he scoots on the floor, those were the only things he would tell me. He then proceeded to take my dog to the back to draw blood for a routine heart worm test. I informed them that my pug does has a hard time being poked and I know that it can be difficult, so when they asked me back to help, I did. They asked me to hold him while they tried to poke him and then they put the muzzle on him, which is fine I understand why they had to, but after the vet. tech. tightens the muzzle the phone rings and she leaves to answer and have a conversation while I am sitting holding my muzzled dog. At this point I tell the doctor that I am uncomfortable with this whole situation and that I will pay for the anal expression but would like to leave. They tell me he will have to be sedated when he has blood drawn, which would have been fine if they could have done that in the first place after I explained to them that he has a hard time having blood drawn, but after being there an hour at this point we were both just done. Then while I was checking out the vet. tech asks me if he is my only dog and if we spoil him, as if that is the reason we were leaving. We left and will never go back because there was no professionalism displayed at this animal hospital. As a registered nurse I know how hectic the medical field can be and how things sometimes dont go as you plan, but I always make sure that my patients know that I care about them and that their needs matter. Not once did they apologize for the wait or show my dog any type of compassion, the doctor didnt even know his name. This review would be completely different had they just said "We apologize for the delay but we have an emergency going on or a difficult animal" Or would have just plain said we are sorry you have had to wait so long. Or if they would have showed my dog any compassion, just pet him on the head or even just talk to him. I dont understand why you would be in the animal care profession if you dont care about the animals you are treating. Also before I left I had to take a glove and some wipes to clean my dogs bottom because they were just going to leave all the extra anal expression on his bottom. I walked out of there with tears in my eyes. There is just no excuse for their lack of care, professionalism, and compassion. I just hope by writing this review I can prevent someone from going through the horrible experience we did. I would rather pay triple the amount to have my dog and I treated with respect, dignity, and kindness.

I cannot be more thankful for this vet and his staff they were so kind and great to me and my cat he had a bladder blockage and another vet had us waiting 2 hours with no answer and an estimate of thousands of dollars which we just did not have, I called this vet they gave me a price of way less took him in and EVERYTHING was done in less than an hour for an extremely reasonable price better than anywhere else I had called to, my cat is now feeling better and they were so friendly and helpful I cant even believe it! I had to take my one year old son with me and they were so just nice to us the vet we visited first and most of the staff seemed extremely annoyed we had a child with us but the staff at animal care clinic were so great to ALL of us!!! They have even called me back after to check up on Clancy and make sure to answer all my questions and give advice of what to do and what to look for if anything was going wrong again! I just cannot thank them enough. dont bother going to any other vet this one is literally the best and has the best prices!!Ill be taking clancey back to be fixed and anything else!!

Not worth sending your animal to. Dr. Mohammed F. was extremely unknowledgeable and did not provide me with any useful information to diagnose my cats skin issue. Her sole purpose was to try to sell me shampoos, creams, and anything she possibly could to make some money. Filthy clinic - the walls and door has visible dirt and animal the entire room look like it had never been cleaned. The scale did not work, and was also dirty. After two failed attempts of turn the scale on, I provided the lady with my own weight for my cat even though I was charged for that as part of the exam fee. When it came to lab results, they could not provide me a print-out of the readings. I finally said I needed something so they wrote on my receipt No significant results which told me absolutely nothing. Terrible experience.

Honestly, this is the worst place someone could bring their pet too. Ive boarded my dog there once before and never again, its so dirty and cold in the back rooms (where the animals stay), and only give animals one towel to lay on, and if you want a nail trim for your pet, I suggest going somewhere else, my poor dog was bleeding everywhere. And not only that, I have seen him handle my animal in a way that was not acceptable, dont get me wrong the staff is alright but it seems that the doctor does not know what he is doing what so ever. I will never . EVER bring my animals there ever again. And I suggest the same for everyone else. Bring you pet to a place where they will get treated PROPERLY.

Yesterday I had to put down my dog and it was definitely one of the hardest things I have ever had to do in my life. Both the vet and his wife were very kind to me in my weak moment. They did not over-charge me to euthanize my dog. I was able to stay in the room with my pet during the whole process and they charged me half of what the other vets were charging. They were patient and respectful and made the experience as pleasant as it could be. I really appreciate their services and I would recommend them to anyone caught in a tough situation on a budget.

I took my 10 year old cocker spaniel in for her yearly exam and because she had a tumor growing on her neck. The staff here is amazing!!! We scheduled the surgery and I was nervous but when I called to see how she was, I was told almost done and id get a call back, which I did within 30 minutes. They made me feel assured everything was fine and I could pick her up at 4p.m. I loved the fact that she wasnt in a cage, they had been just letting her follow them around in the back. Our experience was absolutely awesome!!!
