my cat was very sick, but it felt like the staff was more concerned with making me "feel better" than actually treating my cat. they rather sell me stopgap measures to prolong my cats suffering than be honest with me in a terminal situation that putting him down to rest would be the best option. the doctor was ambivalent when asked about treatment vs humanely putting down. i took my buddy to a 2nd vet for a 2nd opinion and laid out all my concerns and yes having to put him down was a painful decision, but at least it was an honest decision motivated by realistic information. i will never trust town & country vet to ever give me a honest answer. they seem far more interested in selling product than in providing sound and honest medical care even if that care includes knowing when it is best to say goodbye to your loved one.

I was very pleased with the cost effectiveness and the efficient and great care given to our cat. This is a family owned business, owned by a husband and wife and they were awesome! It is a small office and they keep the costs very low. I called around the Michiana area and the costs for shots, neutering and declawing were outrageous. I believe they keep the cost low here because they truly want the animals to get the care they need without having an enormous, newly built facility. They didnt push treatments or extras like Ive experienced at other places. I felt they truly care for the animals they see. I recommend them to everyone now! Very impressive!

After moving to the Pokagon Hwy area 3 years ago we decided to use this vet for our dogs as it was close to home, last year he treated my little "Buffett" for boarder line lime disease $900.00 later we find out that there is no such thing, they either have it or they dont! Sunday our little Buffett became very ill, my husband drove the dog to the doctor home to see if he could help us, he told my husband that he would have to take him to south bend clinic that it was Sunday, our dog died about an hour later, this man would not even take the time to look at him , unless you want a vet that dont care about your pet, stay clear of this place!!!

If you want the care and expertise expected from a Vet, DONT COME HERE! Took my dog in because she was acting very strange and the vet did some bloodwork and didnt find anything wrong. So he blindly puts her on antibiotics. My dog didnt get better so I went to Kryder Veterinary in Granger and turns out she had pancreatitis, and these antibiotics were making it worse. If you value your animals life, STEER CLEAR OF THIS PLACE!

Well Believe what you will, we spent close to $350.00 at another vet before deciding to come to Town and Country. First visit he diagnosed her and she was feeling better within a week! And it didnt cost us an arm and a leg either. My dog is very shy because she was abused with the previous owner, the vet took the time to get her use to him and even gave her a few treats! I think this vet is awesome!

They are horrible. This opinion is based on my experience of how they misdiagnosed my dog, who ended up dying. They wanted blood work, nothing showed up from the blood work...she died of a paralyzed larynx...they did not even offer to do an x-ray. Emergency room diagnosed her within 5 minutes of arrival. Ill never forgive myself for trusting them with her life.

I paid almost 600 dollars for them to fix my dogs ears the problem came back a week and a half later went back in they came up with excuses after excuses telling me that in the end his ear still not healed. I paid for them to make up stiffening why this could have happened and antibiotics! Never take your furry family members here!

They dont have all of the latest equipment, but do a very good job and arent afraid to refer you to another vet if they dont have the equipment or expertise. Their prices are good.As a bonus they sell farm fresh eggs.
