I do not normally write reviews, but I am so completely disgusted with this practice; from management, to staff and now to Dr.Wein himself. If you have to make a call to the office, his staff is unprofessional & poorly trained, that they do not greet you, they simply pick the phone up and put you on hold. I spoke to the "manager, Shannon, maybe) & her excuse was because they are short staffed. I have been seeing Dr. Wein since September of last year and to date the staff STILL answers the phone this way. So, either that was an excuse or the turnover rate is so high this practice cant keep staff, I am guessing the latter. Fantastic customer service. I look over my bills, they charge my insurance company $20.00/visit to state that they discussed smoking cessation with me, even though, they never have. Every single time I visit this office, if my appointment is at 8:40a, I can expect not to see a doctor for an hour minimum. My insurance is charged for his time, but where is my compensation when his staff overbooks his time slots and I have to wait an hour to be seen? I work in the medical field and I am very accustomed to customer service practices and this office is so far from the normal standard. I am through paying their salaries. I am done paying Dr. Wein and his unprofessional staff for poor quality care, rude demeaner & over charges to my insurance for services that were not actually rendered. Minus three patients. Might not sound like much, but hopefully this will deter people from selecting Allenwood.

Allenwood has been our Family Dr. office for about 7 years. We took our newborns to them as well as for adult care. I like that they can do all the immunizations there and draw blood there (best phlabotomist ever). I like that Dr. Wein listens and tries not to over treat or jump to conclusions. The office staff and other doctors are great as well. Gary helped me with a migraine headache and got me in immediately when that happened. He even adjusted my neck (hes a chiropractor as well as a PA) to try to relieve the migraine. They are a busy office. We have had to wait quite awhile before, but I can tell theyre working to improve wait times and everyone in the office genuinely cares about my family.

Dr. Wein has been my doctor for 15 yeras, until today. I called on the 7th to make a appointment to see him, they told me I could come on the 18th. REALLY ..... Called back on the 11th, really need to see a doctor. Can see NP at 10:30, whatever ok. Sat in the waiting room untill 11:10 without even getting acknowledged. Good luck Allenwood Family Healthcare. Apparently you have to make a appointment every month (just in case you get sick) otherwise you will never see a doctor.

The nurse practitioner (Cryasal) and physicians assistant (Gary) are great. Dr.Wein, not so much. His bed side mannor is horrible and he doesnt listen to what the patient has to say. When youre a busy person (which we all are now a days) waiting on hold for 10 minutes is not very productive. ALWAYS be prepared to waste that time. Also, usually no appointments available. Very frustrated and fed up.

Dr. Mark Wein is totally professional and very competent, he applies a holistic approach to assesses his patients needs and he gets it, quickly. The NPs are fantastic and as knowledgeable as you will find anywhere. All the staff and April in particular are extremely helpful. This is a model Family Care Practice and I thoroughly recommend them.

I call numerous times and was left on hold for over 10 minutes. The receptionist never picked up the phone and said hello, just picked up and pushed the hold button (I heard the background noise all 3 times I called before getting placed on hold). No one never picks up the referral line. Bad customer service.

I like the professional level of the doctor and nurses, but waiting time is horrible! I have to wait minimum 1.5 hour in the room till I will see Dr.Wein, seriously? I am paying for the service not for waiting time! This overlapping schedule should stop or I am leaving so my family.

Without a doubt the best doctors office you can possibly visit. Some people might complain but, im not to sure theyre not the ones to blame. I go monthly because of health issues and never had a single problem.
