Dr. Larocca was recommended to me by the Brighton Veterinary Hospital. They told me he was one of the two best Opthamologists in the entire state. Im pretty sure based on my experience while my dog "Cookie" was a patient there that they were spot on regarding their opinion of Dr. Larocca. What I really like though is the way he treats my dog and the caring attitude that he exhibits. His interaction with me is always respectful and he doesnt "talk down" to me. Not only is he a very good doctor, but he is a very nice person as well. His staff (Brittany & Jane) are always helpful and good natured. They remember your dogs name as well as your name and make Cookie and I feel welcome every time we go there. Last time I went there Brittany gave "Cookie" a hug and my big St. Bernard slobbered all over her. Most folks would have shown some sign of disgust....Brittany just said, "Dont worry about it, Im used to it" with a smile on her face. This is the type of place you want to take your animal friends to. I highly recommend this business. PS: Being one of the best in the entire state I thought I would be paying at the high end of the scale, but in reality the costs Ive been charged are more than fair and reasonable. Thank you, AESC!

When it comes to our 9 year old Chihuahua no expense spared. When our reg. Vet. Said she had cataracts off to the specialist we went... Dr Robert Larocca is a very gentle and knowledgeable specialist not cataracts but something that is controllable with meds. Highly recommended by myself and girlfriend. Thank you Animal Eye Specialist for being there for our Daighlie Rhama, here life is much better to you...

I recently took my 18-year-old cat here to have Dr. Larocca, the board-certified veterinary specialist, evaluate my cats eyes. As a veterinarian, I wanted the best care for my own cat and found it here! Dr. Larocca has an incredible reputation in the veterinary world, also. Awesome veterinary ophthalmologist with great bedside manner. Great facility, staff and overall service.

Brought my chihuahua to have eye surgery for a corneal ulcer. The staff was wonderful, and the doctor was very thorough in explaining what the surgery entailed and how to care for her afterwards.
