I adopted my dog from MARS and set her up with a more expensive vet near my house with a lot of good reviews. Within a few months she caught a severe case of kennel cough from the local dog park. My vet refused to see her when she was having difficulty breathing near the time of their closing. I woke up early one morning and phoned them right at opening to make an appointment for her but they were too busy to see her, regardless of her severe reactions. Each visit was costing me an arm and a leg and I felt like we were not getting anywhere. Additionally, because she is a fearful dog, they would not touch her in fear of "giving her a bad experience" so they did not listen to her lungs or take her temp. The antibiotic they gave her is known to commonly cause nausea and lack of appetite. My poor pooch couldnt eat for nearly a week before I gave up on the meds. As a last resort, I called MARS overnight emergency services and they connected me with Green, where her initial records already were. Green took her in free of charge for an all day observation and found her more suitable medicine. They helped me through the next few weeks of her recovery and eased my mind with their matter of fact approach. They didnt try to sugar coat anything so I knew I could rely on what they were telling me. The bill was half the bill from my vet with twice the services. I will be sticking with Green. Yes, they are a low cost vet and are very busy. They cannot babysit you and you need to keep track of your own records. Working in a similar low-cost office, I can understand where they are coming from. I appreciate the services they provide.

I was looking for a new vet for my 3 cats and took them to Green Vet Services because they were part of MARS and starting anew. They were good with the cats but the receptionist, Nell or Mell was a dimwit. After the initial visit, every time I would call, I felt I would have to spell out everything for her and often would have to call back to get the answer I called for because she didnt get back to me. One of my cats is on a prescription and it needed renewing recently. I called and she said I needed to come in because it had been a while. I then got to thinking, when was the last time we were in? I decided to call and ask for the records to be ready and Id pick them up to go to another vet. I did this on early Friday morning. I went on Saturday morning and had to wait while the records were copied. Then I went to another vet and we discovered that my cats were past due for their rabies shots over a year. Green Vet DIDNT bother to send a reminder AT ALL! What kind of veterinary office doesnt send out remiders of vaccine updates? It is now called MARS Veterinary Services but Dr. Green is still running it. Stay away or your pets will suffer!!!

They are busy, obviously since they also support the rescue operations of MARS. However they do their best for customer service but they cannot pamper you. Theyre a low cost vet. With that business model there are obviously going to be limitations. My impression is no fluff, to the point, and they dont suggest unnecessary treatments. They also tell me when an alternative cheaper option is available. Sometimes I wish I could get more consulting, but if I want to chat I could always go to a more expensive vet. Just thought Id post since there are negative reviews about customer service. You get what you pay for. In this case the vet services are top notch but support personnel is limited. Personally I would rather get good care for my dog, but Im not worried about how much attention I get from the receptionist.

We first met Dr. Green at a low-cost vaccination clinic and were impressed with how calm and thorough she was as she examined the slew of pets coming through the long lines. She is now and has been our primary vet for about 2 years for our 4 dogs who are all seniors, each with some kind of ongoing health issue. Three of our dogs are rescue adoptions so the clinic gives us a discount and a payment plan for the most expensive surgery. Most important to us is the compassion for animals that Dr. Green and staff have and show. Yes, they are understaffed and sometimes hard to get in on short notice but in an emergency they have found the time. And, as another reviewer said, there are no frills here but we prefer excellent care, compassion, and lower cost over frills.

Im reluctant to give them a high rating, just because I dont want more people to find out how great they are! Its hard on a limited budget to give your pets the care they need sometimes. Green Vetrinary services makes it easy to make sure your animals are healthy, and get the care they need. I took in a dog that needed to get spayed and get her vaccinations up to date. Green Vet did those procedures at a fraction of the cost that my previous provider would have. My pets are in good hands with Green Vetrinary clinic.

I love this vet clinic nic. Everyone there is very friendly, very informative, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr. Green is the best. She is so great. She was a tremendous help for my sweet dog that was aging with numerous health issues. I cant say enough wonderful words about her and her staff. Truly "greatness" starts at the top and sh is a good example.

WORST customer service EVER!! Ive been to the clinic three times with three separate foster animals and each time the receptionist treated me as if I was wasting their time. If you have the patience of a saint you may be able to get through a conversation with her otherwise I recommend avoiding it. I would NEVER bring my own animals to this clinic.

Very reasonably priced is an understatement! The staff is amazing, they treated my Netherland Dwarf like their own.
