I called to make an appointment and had to wait a month to get in. When I was finally seen for the eczema on my hands, it was between flare-ups. The doctors advice was to wash my hands less, not touch my hair, change diapers with gloves on, and wear gloves while washing dishes. He also said to wear heavy lotion and cotton gloves to bed. First of all, anyone who has young children (a three year old and a 6 month old) needs to wash their hands to prevent their children from getting sick. I already use alcohol free sensitive baby wipes on their bottoms and I wash the dishes with gloves. I use lotion all the time as well! I feel like it was a waste of time and money to even visit this dermatologist. This was all advice I could have found on the internet. I did not need to spend 200 dollars to be told to wash my hands less and wear lotion and gloves. He also told me if it gets really bad and cracks that I can use super glue to close up the crack. SUPER GLUE on eczema! (He let me know it would wear off in a few days and then I could reapply it.) I always treated the cracks with antibiotic ointment and a band-aid for a couple of days. I will never go back to this clinic. The office also does not return messages.

I called to make an appointment and was provided great customer service at that time I had to call back a few days later and ask for a Insurance Code to provide to my insurance company to make sure that the procedure was in my network and covered by my insurance. . I called today Jul 6th 2015 and asked for this insurance card the lady who answered the phone put me on hold in another lady picked me up from hold I asked her for the Insurance Code to provide to my insurance company for proper billing to see if it was covered with a rude remark she said we dont provide insurance codes I said ok well then please cancel my appointment since I dont know if its covered she found my appointment and said okay youre cancelled and hung up the phone I cannot believe how rude and disrespect for your customer service is.. I will never be back and I will make sure to not recommend this company to any of my friends or family

My doctor recommended Dr. Ide to me a few years ago after she gave up trying to manage my skin. He has prescribed a balanced and effective regimen and I have exceptionally good skin now, especially when you consider where I was before. He is good about understanding my particular skin challenges and also my concerns about heavy medications. They know their stuff here; very professional and experienced. I cant recommend them enough. Theyve had a strong positive impact on my appearance and self-esteem. I wish they were still in downtown Minneapolis, but Edina isnt too far for me, and I only see him 1-2 times per year now. Turn into the street before the office, the only entrance to the office lot is from that street, not France Ave.

Helpful in the beginning but after continued visits and questions, the help got gradually more unhelpful. The staff was inconsistent with answering questions (different responses from billing, office staff, nurses, etc.) After spending X amount of money paying my bills, they started to charge me upfront for treatments at the facility without first charging my insurance, and I was given no written policy or written explanation of this charge. The most frustrating part was that I visited the office for X amount of treatments. Suddenly, I was told that they could no longer accommodate these treatments past a certain time. This completely disrupted my care. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

I went in for the first time to see a dermatologist. I have fair skin and my mother and sisters have all had issues. I was advised to get checked. I told the doctor I had never been to a dermatologist (Im 35) but immediate family has had issues. I was looked over for literally 30 seconds (if that) and then told Im fine and there is no need to come back. Nothing explained, no information and I felt like I was a burden to the dermatologist. Terrible bed side manner I sincerely felt like I was wasting his time...it was uncomfortable. I had a really weird spot and was not even given the change to ask about it. It was a 2 minute appointment.

Dr. Ide and Dermatology P.A. provided the best care Ive ever received from a dermatologist. Dr. Ide is knowledgeable, experienced and is just a good guy. Ive actually had other local doctors mention that hes among the best dermatologists in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area. The staff is also great, as theyre very accommodating to schedules (I changed my appointment about 3 times). Put it this way, they used to be downtown just blocks from my work and even after their move to Edina Im willing to make the drive. If you want great dermatological care, I highly recommend them.

I have been a patient here for years and have been to a few Dermatologists before I started here. None are as good as this one. Friendly receptionist - friendly nurse - friendly doctor. I have always had a great experience. Getting an appointment has always been easy - and the times available fit my schedule perfectly! Quality patient care is clearly a huge priority. It is especially nice to go to a Dermatologists office that is not masking themselves as a spa that happens to have an MD on staff. They are true professionals!

What a great Doctors visit! It was only one week for my appointment from the time I called. Other Dermatologists in the Twin Cities are up to a four week wait. I was told on the phone my visit would take about twenty min. That was exactly how long my appointment took. Checking in was very easy, and the staff is very kind!

Dr Ide identified Melanomas on my scalp and also found two that my wife had. In all cases they were detected early and had not spread to the lymphatic system. As far as i am concerned he is a lifesaver. Or at minimum saved me from chemotherapy and other major cancer treatments.

Called for an appointment and was seen in about a week. Much faster than if I had gone to a larger clinic. The receptionist was very polite and professional. Beth is the nurse practitioner there and answered all my questions. She was very nice! A very good experience.

Went in for treatments ample amount of times and I ended up with no improvement. The staff would not work with me on reducing the full cost. Difficult to work with the staff.
