The Windsors and their staff always have your pets health concerns first, then are very dedicated to the Parents position on Cost. I have been bringing my Bulldogs to them since 2002, they have never tried to sell more services than you need, and my most recent visit is proof of what a First Class Company they run. I brought my female Bulldog in for ACL & Screw Tail surgery, they emailed me the estimate days prior, when I dropped her off I gave them a check for the estimate, upon picking her up at checkout, they told me they owe me money, I was like, for what, well she said, Jim(Windsor) said everything went so smooth the total cost for everything was less, and he only charges for what they actually do & materials/meds they use. I couldnt believe it, a business the size of theirs being that Fair and Straight up. The refund was a pleasant surprise, dont get me wrong that is not why I bring my dogs there, no matter what they charge I know my Bulldogs are getting the best Care. I hear many horror stories from friends bringing their pets to other Vet Clinics, and I always say you should of went Inver Grove Hts Animal Hospital. In todays world our Pets our like our kids, we invest alot to acquire them, and want them to live a long and healthy Life, I know one thing your Pets Health is #1 Priority to the Windsors and their Staff, Thank you Jim and your staff for taking care of Mollies injuries, I was worried about her knee healing properly just because, shes a Bulldog, tough to keep her down, its been about 3 weeks and she is doing Amazing!! We love IGH Animal Hospital! We first came to them after our Springer passed away at home. They handled everything needed for his cremation and even sent us a sympathy card. When our Boxer ate a CPAP mask, right before Christmas, they surgically removed it and took care of him for almost 2 weeks. They even fed him my homemade diet, to accommodate his allergies. Dr. Windsor checked on him personally every night. They have answered our many questions about both our foster dogs and our own dogs. Dr. Valenti has helped us with rescue dogs with difficult behavioral issues. She has been a great resource for our senior Boxer with Spinal Stenosis. They are always very upfront about what services will cost. They have worked with us to find medications that are both effective and affordable. Since we are across the street, I have to say they are great neighbors too. Their office is always decorated for all the holidays. It is always neat and clean. You never hear dogs barking at all hours. Once Dr. Windsor even plowed out our driveway, after a huge snow storm, when he saw us struggling to shovel it by hand.

I have been with IGH Animal Hospital since I was a little girl, actually all of my life so for 43 years. I would trust my animals with nobody elses care. They love my pets and know them well. They love going to see the Vet. One of our dogs ruptured his ACL and needed surgery. His care before, during, and after his surgery has been wonderful. I am an orthopedic surgical nurse by background and have high expectations and they exceed all of them. Dr. Valenti is very responsive to our needs whether its a last minute visit needed or just a phone call. The breeder we got our dog from lives an hour away from IGH and thats where they take all of their puppys and dogs. Our dog trainer facility noticed the vet certificate said IGH Animal Hospital and they said that is absolutely the best veterinarian clinic you could have chosen. I always strongly encourage my friends and family to take their pets to IGH Animal Hospital. They would never dream of over charging and they would never recommend something that wasnt necessary! I live closer to lots of other vets but will never change!

We love Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital. Our 75 lb chocolate lab has had several trips over the years, from allergies- spay surgery- yearly check ups- a broken toe nail & eye infections. We have had fantastic care with all of the providers we have seen, and during the dramatic broken off toe nail, they fit us in last minute on a Friday! We are always given very good educational information, and explanation of what is going on with our dog, what to expect etc... The only time I have had to wait was because the doctors were triaging care appropriately and a very sick pup was obviously triaged before our pups healthy yearly check up. At that time, I was informed it would be a little bit of a wait (for an excellent reason!), and my pup and I went for a walk and came back a bit later. That experience actually made me feel more confident in IGH-- to know that care is provided appropriately. We have nothing but positive experiences with Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital. My dog absolutely loves all of the staff, I wouldnt go anywhere else!

I have been bringing my pets to Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital for over 10 years and have nothing but good to say about the facility, the doctors, the staff. The facility is clean and friendly and comfortable for pets and humans. The staff and doctors are ALL friendly and competent and very welcoming. They dont make me feel silly about being neurotically worried about my pet. They have even consulted with vets from the U of M to help with an issue my cat was having. The prices are very good. I was ordering a routine medication from 1-800PetMeds and had an issue so I called Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital to get a refill and it turned out the cost was LOWER than the online cost. Its usually easy to get a same day appointment, even though they are always busy. (Im clearly not the only one who trusts them with my pet!) I do not have an exotic pet so I cannot comment on that but if you have a cat or dog, I would, without a doubt, recommend Inver Grove Heights Animal Hospital to help you care for it.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about IGH Animal Hospital. Especially Dr. Hamel. My American Cocker Lady was diagnosed in February 2016 with a tumor in her mouth and we were grateful for everyday she was with us. She and I were best friends and nn February 3rd 2017 at the age of 17 she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and I miss her desperately everyday. Ladys primary vet referred me to Dr Hamel because she was experiencing some arthritis pain. Every time we say her she was gentle and showed unbelievable concern and support for what she needed. There were times when Dr Hamel would even follow up to see how she was doing after an especially difficult time she was having. I could go on and on but I will end with this....Dr Hamel is an angel that will always do what it takes to make sure our 4 legged children always have the best possible care and results. I always have and always will tell anyone who will listen how wonderful she is. I will always be grateful for everything she did for us.

As always, my most recent experience with IGH Animal Hospital was the best I could ask for. It was only a follow-up call to the vet who had seen one of our cats about two weeks before. He responded to my request for call-back promptly and was informative and friendly in our call, answering my questions completely. The staff at IGH are all welcoming and professional. Their animal care is thorough and professional. They appear to enjoy the relationship we crazy pet-owners have with our pets. They show great affection for each pet and remember non-medical things about them, the kind of pet personality or behavioral peculiarities we share during a visit. More than once, I have had a staff person voluntarily seek out an on-line "deal" so they could give us a generous discount on the monthly (otherwise expensive!) flea preventative meds. I highly recommend this veterinary clinic!
