I recently had my first time experience with an eye exam and purchasing new glasses at LensCrafters. The friendly greeting at the door of a clean and organized office was the start of a very positive experience. After filling out necessary paperwork I was moved directly to the next step. My eyes were thoroughly tested to be sure they were healthy. The tests were done easily, efficiently and quickly. I then met with a doctor who determined my new prescription and also went over the tests I had completed. Using advanced technology he was able to show me photographs of my eyes and explain to me the determination of their healthy state. Immediately after, I went directly to the sales room and was helped to find the perfect frame. There were many frames to choose from within a manageable price range. I was told of the options I had for my lenses, such as transition and progressive lenses and the cost of each. As promised, my completed pair of glasses were ready within an hour. I was fitted and ready to go. As I said, it was a very positive experience. Not only will I be returning, but I also would recommend LensCrafters for to others.

People were friendly - but the eye doctor seemed in a hurry even though they asked to push the appointment back an hour for him to have lunch. They also sent the prescription to the wrong location and I couldnt get it, so my eye got worse. To top it off, when making the appointment and checking in they told me they accepted my insurance (I should have checked with my insurance first) but in truth they didnt and I had to pay out of pocket afterwards. I called them to find out what happened and spoke with a woman who said they said they were busy and would call back. They did not and I had to call back a couple days later - this time speaking to a more helpful man who informed me my insurance wasnt accepted there. Would not go back.

One of the only doctors offices Ive been visiting for my entire life. I feel completely at ease with everyone who works here, and the staff are incredibly personable. Im almost always greeted by name when I arrive for my appointments, which is never an expectation for me but always makes me smile. I always receive expert care and feel confident that my eyes are in good hands.

Unlike many traditional in-house eye exams these doctors are independent and arent limited by their retail partners policies and equipment choices. These doctors do a very thorough exam with cutting edge equipment and genuine care about your eye health. I wont trust my eyes to anyone else!

Called to ask if they took my insurance.Very rude male receptionist told me he was too busy to check and HUNG UP on me. Unbelievable. Update: I called right back and spoke to a really nice receptionist named Rose. She told us right away that our insurance was accepted.

My regular eye doctor. It is pretty easy to schedule a visit and I trust their expertise. I did have to wait about 20 minutes after the appointment time before they were able to give me the basic tests.
