The courtesy and excellent service of the reception and technical staff was overwhelming (a very pleasant surprise); it was noticeable as one of desk staff offered to take my coat, I was offered a glass of water, and where appropriate the staff used my name--although I only visit annually for a check-up. Dr. Snyder has a nice sense of humor that puts me at-ease, the appointment was very time-efficient and utilized some of the newer optic health technology. The fusion of cutting-edge technology with thoughtful etiquette is impressive. Upon checking-out the desk staff made pleasant small-talk while my copay was calculated and I was reminded to use my FSA/HSA account for it if I had it at-hand. In advance of the appointment I had a reminder call and the week prior a staff member called to let me know there was a sooner appointment available due to a cancellation if I wanted to change my plans. I originally choose Highland Family Eye Care because it accepted my insurance, has convenient hours, free parking, and is located between work and home. If youre considering a new eye care provider as a single person or family I think there are few clinics that offer such excellent service.

I am a new patient of Dr. Snyder. I picked his clinic due to distance from our home and the great reviews. First impression upon walking in, was, WOW, the clinic is so beautiful, clean, organized and very spacious. The front desk welcomed me graciously as well. Dr. Snyder is great in explaining things and in making me comfortable (I dont like things close to my face). He figured out what was wrong so off to choosing a frame I go. Tammy, helped me with picking the frame and she has a very keen eye on what works for my face and my nose bridge (or the lack of it). ;) She didnt try to sell me designer frames even though what I liked turned out to be one. :) Very highly recommended. PROS: Convenient parking, friendly staff, clean and beautiful clinic, amazing doctor. CONS: none

Definitely recommended. I started seeing Dr Synder due to an acute major infection that urgent care referred me to. I was seen very timely as in same day! Following this ordeal and treatments, I began using him as my primary eye guy since late spring 2012. I just wish this office took my childrens insurance and we all would be there! He is a compassionate doctor, takes time to build rapport and is very informative about treatment options. His clinic staff appear that they love their roles (that says a lot) and the facility is inviting with parking (a MAJOR plus in this neighborhood. Id like to see an expansion of evening hours or maybe an earlier appointment in the morning. I highly recommend this physician and clinic.

Last Fall I noticed the vision in my left eye had gotten significantly worse. I went to Highland Family Eye Care and they did a great job of diagnosing the issue, helping me understand it and then coordinating the surgery that needed to be performed to correct it. They also did all the post-op care and did a great job, taking something that was very scary and making it managable. Highland Family Eye Care is very well run, appointments are very timely and has great staff. I cant imagine going anywhere else for vision care.

Doctor and all staff I met were present, friendly, helpful, communicative, and generous. Its very important to be discerning about health care decisions, and the first thing I look for with a provider is the quality of genuine human heart that is engaged in what they do -- in contrast to tired, distracted, profit driven, and sometimes even arrogant. If sincere, positive, and mutually respectful, the experience and service will be win-win. Highland Family Eye Care is A+ for excellent attention and genuine, quality care.

Dr Snyder and his staff are amazing. Dr Snyder took the time to answer any questions I had as thoroughly as I liked to make sure I fully understand. He also took time to find out which contacts work best for me so he could tweak my prescription if need be. I have been very please with my experiences there. I recently moved to the west metro from Saint Paul, and I will make the drive to Saint Paul and continue to see Dr Snyder because he is fantastic, and he truly cares about his patients.

Fees are ridiculous! They charged the highest lens fitting fees Ive ever seen, and the service took the longest. The doctor left me waiting again and again during my exam, after I had already waited extensively for my scheduled appointment. $50 to reschedule within 24 hrs, even during a lens fitting? Those should be walk-ins! Life happens and Im not paying for that type of service, its too bad that this is what I got when I wanted to support a local business.

The Dr at highland is great. he is professional and helped me find a pair of contacts that works for my eyes and lifestyle. The entire office is first class, I love my glasses I got there, the service I got from his office manager, and the two-year garantee on my new glasses. Even though I moved to Minnetonka, I continue to go to Highland because I am so pleased with this Dr and clinic on all levels! GReat job, Highland!

Dr. Snyder explains, educates, provides personal care and expertise, and made what started as a bit anxious an easy experience. The comfortable office, friendly and competent staff, focused attention of Dr. Snyder, and ease of parking in Highland make this easy to recommend to friends and family.

Dr Snyder has been my eye doctor for more than 4 years and hes one of the most patient and thorough doctors Ive worked with. He originally prescribed me multi-focal gas permeable contacts and I must have gone through 5 pairs before we found the correct fit. Im now moving on to a new pair and once again, Dr Snyder and his staff have been superbly helpful in scheduling, testing and fitting.

Just spent 90 glorious minutes in a clinic waiting for a basic eye exam. 89 mins in, still not done. I was left in a doctors chair in a windowless room for the last 40 of those minutes having seen the doctor for maybe 10 mins? Finally just left in a not-so-quiet or content fashion. People must get upset a lot in that clinic, receptionist barely looked up from his computer

I felt everyone worked as a team to meet my needs. They were thorough, professional and considerate. I am delighted that they are in my neighborhood.
