DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE ANXIETY. My daughter has anxiety and had the same tooth worked on 3 times - 2 fillings, one root canal which had to be redone by an endodontist be ause the first time didnt take. Stress level = extremely high. 1 1/2 years later she needs the tooth removed because it keeps getting infected but we are on state insurance which has limited coverage for re-treatment. I called, clearly frustrated from a miserable past year with this tooth. Yes, I did say they did a crappy job...because they did but I was not combative or rude beyond that. Rather than empathizing and expressing concern for my daughter she said, "well, Ill just leave a message for the crappy doctor who worked on her" and was huffy and snide as I confirmed my phone number. Ive worked 25 yrs in customer service. You DO NOT have permission to get rude with a client, especially one who is clearly frustrated and benignly complaining and that is not being rude or combative. Empathy and concern go a long way in a healthcare setting. If you hate your job so.much please dont waste your time in an industry thats meant to care and comfort people.

Came here to get a front tooth crown done and filling on molar. Front desk ladies are awful, mean and snide. Molar filling isnt perfect but isnt bad. Front tooth crown is absolutely horrid, its crooked and not the same color as the rest of my teeth. When they were putting it on i kept telling them it looked horrible and instead of understanding my CONCERN with my FRONT TOOTH being the same as my other, the dentist (dr. Banaru- horrible bed side manners) and the dental tech or whatever person they grabbed to make my tooth scoffed and said "oh thanks for telling us how you really feel" in an incredibly snarky and sarcastic voice, Like i was insulting them for telling them the tooth wasnt how I expected. The dentist was so frustrated that I had made her take extra time to make the tooth how I WANTED, (considering i was paying out of pocket for it), she ran out of the room after cementing it in place so now i have a sharp, crooked, discolored tooth with a bump on the back that she didnt bother shaving down. SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

Had a tooth pulled almost 2 weeks ago. They didnt give me pain medication and I was fine with that. It hurt, but I did what the doctor said. Took ibuprofen and Tylenol and gargled with salt water. A few days after the procedure, I started having exteme pain. Went back and I had an infection. Never been in so much pain in my life. The doctor put me on antibiotics & gave me 10 Vicodin. Went back today because the pain is not improving after finishing the antibiotics. The pain is driving me crazy! She looked at it, said its healing fine and to take Tylenol and ibuprofrin. She said strong pain medication wouldnt help me . Easy for her to say! I have no history of addiction, i am a human in severe pain and was sent on my way with no relief. If you are looking to get relief from tooth pain of any kind, do not go here!!!! They will not help you. I was in less pain with my broken tooth than I am now. It is a shame that people who actually are in pain and need relief cant get it.

Had some cavities filled a week and a half ago, still very sensitive and giving me some trouble. However, I will not be going back to Dr. Banaru as her bedside manner needs some definite work. The assistant decided to apply the topical anesthetic 20 mins prior to seeing the dentist. I had to notify Dr. Banaru that I needed additional anesthetic because it had worn off at that point. She failed to apply it on the inner portion of my gums so that injection was quite delightful. I have NEVER vocalized discomfort from a novacaine injection in the past but this one was exceptionally painful. Dr. Banarus response, "dont say I didnt tell you it would hurt." What kind of BS response is that? You work in a profession where individuals entrust you to make the experience as comfortable as possible. Theres a level of professionalism lacking at this office. I hope they do something to improve the environment.

I had a great experience here! I brought my daughter in for an exam to see Dr. Maki and he was wonderful. He was kind to my daughter and honest with me and great at explaining things. His assistant Missy was patient while taking an xray on my daughter, plus she even explained how our next visit would go. Another assistant Val, gave my daughter a balloon animal. Super fun! Our second appointment there was with the Dental Therapist Kassie and assistant Leah. Both wonderful ladies. My daughter had an extraction which I was very nervous about but to my surprise, she did great. They both made it fun for my daughter and told her what was happening and made it seem very easy. Im definitely coming back with my daughter to see who I have mentioned! Very impressed and this was stress free. Thank you Dr. Maki, Missy, Kassie, and Leah, you all rock!

They were able to get my family of five in all at the same time! When you walk in, everything is clean and modern. They have a play area for small children and magazines for adults. They always have numerous front desk associates to ensure a quick check in process. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The technicians that we saw were great. THey explained the process and the problems if there were any before we even saw the dentists. They are also far more manageable as far as pricing goes. They charge half what most dentists do. They explained everything that needs to be done and how it would be done. They gave us a breakdown of all costs up front. They accept all insurances as well as medical assistance. All in all it was a great experience. This coming from someone who is normally terrified of dentists!

I have had dental anxiety for a few years now, due to a previous experience with a dentist in california. I was very nervous about coming in. I also was told 2 teeth needed to be pulled, in california and needed 10,000 dollars worth of implants. Angela, my hygenist, and Dr. Rivard was aware of my anxiety. They explained each procedure and was very gentle with my anxiety. This Dr. told me the truth. I, in fact, did not need implants. She was not trying to make a fortune trying to sell me implants, she told me what was needed. I am very trusting of t his office now, and have much less anxiety when it comes to dental appointments. Every single staff member was warm and welcoming and concerned about my comfort. Very much appreciated. I walked out with my teeth beautiful again!! Thank you dental associates.

What an incredible experience I have had working with Dental Associates of Savage. Dr Hussein and his assistant, Brkiti, provided first class service to me over the past year. My needs were complicated, yet they were fearless! As their patient, I was thoroughly examined, given options for treatment, then provided care above and beyond my expectations. On several occasions I called with a concern. Every employee I interacted with was professional, genuinely concerned, and took immediate action. Every detail was addressed and resolved beautifully; once again putting my mind at ease. From the receptionists, to the accounting department, and finally to Dr Hussein, I received excellent care. You are in good and skilled hands at Dental Associares of Savage!
