Personal Care is a great place to choose if you want a dentist that actually cares about your needs. They have a friendly and comfortable environment that eases the anxiety that might accompany going to the dentist, and the staff is fabulous, always making me feel welcome and at ease. They have a lot of medical technology that seems really cutting edge (not that I know a lot about dental technology, but the x-rays were able to be rendered which was pretty cool, and there seems to be a lot of other things like that around their office). I always saw the younger Dr. Hunt, and he is one of the nicest doctors Ive had. I always ask a ton of questions and he was always polite enough to humor me. He also is very calming, and he and his assistant are always really good about explaining what they are about to do to prepare you. All of the work Ive had done was completed really quickly too. At my first visit they took x-rays and came up with a plan for me to get the dental work I needed done in a reasonable way, and afterwards I sat down with one of the staff to make sure that the work could be done within my insurance plan. Knowing that my billing was squared away and wasnt something I had to worry about was also quite nice. Whenever I was due for work or my cleanings I would get a call from one of the staff reminding me, which means that I basically always just had to show up! And one time when I was running late for when I needed to show up they worked around me, which was something I really, really appreciated. Im moving to a new state now, and they made to process of transferring all of my records over as easy as a signed paper and an email. Im miss going to Personal Care, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a new dentist.

HONEST, PROFESSIONAL, KIND, TIMELY, and NO PAIN – I LOVE Dr. Hunt and his team! They were highly recommended to me, and I highly recommend them to others! My sister recommended Dr. Hunt, and I am so glad that I finally took her advice. I have had a lot of dental work performed, and have visited several local dentists in an effort to find my permanent dentist. My search is now over! My first visit with Dr. Hunt was on an emergency basis, and they fit me in and took great care of me. He and his team were professional, kind, timely, and HONEST... honest about the service needed for my current emergency and honest about those services needed to address my other dental issues/concerns. Having already received a comprehensive dental treatment plan from another local dentist, my emergency visit with Dr. Hunt also served as my “second opinion” for the additional treatments recommended by my prior dentist. And, I am so glad I sought that second opinion from Dr. Hunt! Rather than the $30,000+ treatment plan received from my prior dentist (this in addition to the $10,000+ already spent), the fees related to Dr. Hunt’s initial plan were SIGNIFICANTLY less, while still addressing my dental issues/concerns. Rather than swindle me out of money for unnecessary procedures, Dr. Hunt gave me an honest assessment of what I needed, which will result in a great smile! I am so thankful and grateful to Dr. Hunt and his team (and of course my sister for the awesome recommendation), and look forward to working with them in the future. Abbey W.

Unfortunately, if I could give this dental office zero stars, I would. Having been a patient at this office for almost ten years, and my sister being a patient for more than a decade, I was beyond shocked when I was literally banned from the office after one of the dentists left packing in my root canal which caused a severe abscess and $1200 bill with the endodontist who had to repair the damage. Though this dental office finally covered the bill after weeks of denying any wrongdoing, I was told I was no longer welcome at the office, and that "none of the dentists wanted to see me after what happened". How this was my fault is beyond me, and why I was "dismissed from the company" (their words) was crushing. Having severe autoimmune problems and Mast Cell, I was so happy to be with this office for almost ten years because they knew my medical history and made me feel safe. I had established a wonderful relationship with each dentist and staff member over the years, so to be banned by the primary dentist I had been seeing was not only hurtful, but completely unprofessional. I asked multiple times to speak with Dr. Hunt, himself, but was always denied. I was told he stands by his physicians and their choices. It was a terrible experience which could have been handled much more gracefully, but sadly loyalty or class is not one of this dental offices strongs suits.

Root Canal? Did you cringe? I did....but not for long. After arriving for my appointment I was asked how I was doing. I told them I was nervous due to things I had heard about getting a root canal. Dr. Hunt and his assistant Tiffinay then proceeded to explain the procedure and what to expect. We soon got started and I was prepped for the procedure. Soon I did not feel anything. I was given breaks when I needed, every step was explained and soon it was done. The crown impressions and temp crown was afixed. I was asked how I felt, to which I replied "no pain, no discomfort "! We went through expectations for later in the day....which I why I waited to write this review. I had no pain later in the day! I would have never thought this after being told other stories. I really appreciated how I was treated, like a person and not a number!! Dr. Hunt and Tiffinay calmed my anxiety, completed the procedure efficiently with no pain. I will not have any hesitation returning to Personal Care Denistry for all my dental concerns and preventative work. Simply the best all around! Give them a try I guarantee you will be just as happy as I was!!

Most dental offices are professional, as they should be. Personal Care Dentistry in Roseville, however, goes a step beyond and is THE MOST FRIENDLY AND HAPPIEST DENTAL OFFICE I have ever visited! I had a Groupon to try this place out and was hesitant: would I still have my teeth when I left? Would they try to up sell so much Id need to sell a kidney on the black market? To my pleasant surprise, they were an impeccably clean and large office and they didnt treat me differently just because I was coming as a frugal new client. I had a warm greeting from Sue at the front desk and the best conversation with dental hygienist, Breanne. She was diligent in cleaning my teeth, while being gentle. Dr. Hunt was all smiles and pleasant to speak with about my future visits to the office. Whether you live far or near, visit Personal Care Dentistry--their name says it all!

I am one of those people that are terrified to go to the dentist and put it off for far too long. I went in for a routine cleaning and they made it so easy for me. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and immediately felt a little more at ease. My hygienist, Kari, made me feel comfortable as soon as I sat down. She had such a happy and easy going personality. She took the time to make sure that I was ok and explained each step of the cleaning. Once the cleaning was done Dr. Kyle came in to examine my teeth, review x-rays and inform me of the next steps needed. Kari and Dr. Kyle were incredibly nice, personable and knowledgeable. For anyone that is fearful of the dentist I recommend going to Personal Care Dentistry, since they take the time to make you feel comfortable.
