We were so devastated to have to put our dog down. Unfortunately when she got sick our regular vet was unable to get her in (was shocked that this happened even though we called in the morning and they were open until 3pm that afternoon). Seeing she was in a lot of pain, we called around to at least 10 places. You can probably imagine how heartbreaking this was to do. Lake Animal hospital was not only incredibly kind over the phone, however they got us in within 90 minutes even though we were not a patient there. I cant tell you how much this meant to our family that they took us in on such short notice. Their kindness and compassion in working with our family was beyond kind. Will always be appreciative they did this!!! That says a lot for a vet to take someone in at the last minute that isnt even a patient there and not charge them a arm and a leg (it was almost 3 times as much at an emergency hospital which would have been much farther away). Grateful.

We love Lake Animal Hospital! After leaving another vet in the area due to an unfortunate incident, we were weary of where to take our dog next. After hearing from several friends about Lake Animal Hospital, thats where we decided to go. The staff is very friendly and they were always very accommodating with our needs. Especially with getting prescriptions filled quickly. We recently moved out of state and are sad that we wont be returning! Thanks for everything!

Stay away. We had a horrible experience here and believe that our dog did not receive proper vet care and treatment. We believe this lack of care cost us thousands of dollars and almost the life of our dog. This is not an AAHA certified vet hospital. We will never bring our dogs to a pet hospital again that does not have this AAHA certification standard of veterinary practice.

Dr Amy is the best exotic vet I have known in my 14 years of owning rabbits. I drive nearly an hour so my bunnies can be treated by the best!
