When I went in for my appointment about 4 weeks ago, I was about 10 minuets early so I filled out all the required paper work. I promptly after I got my paperwork done they wanted to do some test on my eye that my Health Insurance nor Eye Insurance would cover. I told them I have no family history of any eye problems besides needing to wear glasses. They pushed the issue so I got the test which cost me $25. After the test they took me into an exam room. I waited a little over an hour for one of the doctors to help me, or even acknowledge I was there and they are running late or offer to reschedule the appointment. I picked out my frames which where really expensive but liked the look of them so I decided to go ahead and get them. I was not asked about coatings, anti-glare and all that kind of stuff they just assumed I wanted it-almost another $100 in co-pays for it. About 15 working days later my glasses and lenses came in About a 3 or 4 days after that I noticed my lenses where cracking where they drilled the wholes to attach the lenses. I promptly called the office and told them what happened. The women who answered the phone said she would get the lenses reordered, but it would be another two weeks! What horrible service when its a defect in the product! I had questioned where the women I talked to or not actually ordered my new lenses, I went in on my day off to double check they where on order (3 days have passed) they where not. I was told it would be 14 days. Horrible policy on how long they take to get things replaced when I didnt even have them a week and them to doubt I was telling the truth about needing new lenses. They told me it is there policy not to order replacement lenses for people unless they see them, would have be nice to know this if the first women I spoke with told me this. I asked why they didnt use glass lenses for my frames, they said they do not make them for that frame I picked out. Had I known what they would make the lenses out of depending on the frame I would have choose another frame. I still havent received my new lenses 15 days after I have reordered them. I will not be going back there and going to make a complaint to my insurance company about the services I received. At this point in time I wish it could all be undone. Worse place Ive even been to for glasses would strongly advise against going to see them.

Went here to get an exam and more contacts. The doctor did not have time to complete the exam, so he did not give me the test where air is blown into my eyes to check pressure. He said he would do it the next time I came in to let him know how the test trial of contacts went. The next time I came in my eye was red and irritated. I asked him if it was pink eye and he said no but he could not tell me what it was. Yet he treated it as pink eye and prescribed me Tobramycin and Dexamethasone Ophthalmic Suspension USP eye drops. I asked him if it was the brand of contacts that caused the irritation in my eye. He said no. So I trusted him and ordered the year supply of contacts. I also asked him if we were going to do the pressure test that he did not complete the previous time. He said he didnt have time but I was probably fine and we would just wait until my exam next year. While I was using my prescribed eye drops and waiting for my eye to heal I obviously didnt wear my contacts. Come to find out it WAS the new contacts that were the issue. After my eye healed and I got my new contacts in the mail I used them, lo and behold eye ended up getting red and irritated again. WASTE of money and waste of my time! Thanks for nothing!!!!! Will def. not be back!!

Second time there, a year apart. In and out in no time - almost no wait. Doc was nice and since this was just a simple renewal of a contact Rx the exam was very brief. Tey always try to sell additional services (the Jiffy Lube of eyewear) that are not necessary. The office staff then attempted to overcharge me not just for the visit (a $25 "materials ordering fee") but also the cost of the contacts lenses themselves. Clarksons price was $260 for a product that can be purchased online for $110. So even with my insurance benefits ($139) I would have overpaid.

Neede new glasses, met with Dr. Crowe. He explained everything and was very forthright and professional.
