We are new to Omaha and my boyfriend hurt his knee playing softball. So I call around to find a place that accepts his insurance so he can have it looked at. Sounds simple, right? Better to get it checked out and make sure it will be fine..Well low and behold we live above Creighton Medical center, I mean how great they accept his insurance and the clinic is right there. How fantastic! Not so much. So I call to make an appt and the first receptionist that answered was extremely rude after I explained we are new to the area and he hurt his knee etc. She puts me on hold telling me she'll see if he can make an appt...I am than on hold for 15 minutes when another lady answers wondering why I am calling..so I explain yet again, she immediately tells me they are down 2 doctors and he cannot make an appt. Ok... So I ask about Monday..nope, closed. (ahh yes, Memorial Day) she does not offer another day or time or suggestions...she just sits there until I finally ask "ughh..what about Tuesday?" Needless to say I was beyond frustrated at this point and I hung up. Why would I ever want to see a Doctor who has the rudest unhelpful employees ever? I will be sure to tell everyone I meet about this awful experience and make sure to steer clear of this place. Thanks for not helping newcomers to Omaha. I am so disappointed. However, thank goodness I called the Family Medicine on Grant Street! Their receptionist was more than happy to give advice on icing his knee and very helpful. It's such a shame when people take their unhappiness out on patients.

This place is the biggest CF ever. I have been going here for a little over 3 years; moved from out of state, live downtown wanted something I could walk to. Everytime it consistantly gets worse. Wait time is TERRIBLE! Everytime I go I have to go through my medical history, everytime! My most recent experience is my husband and I went in for the same screening for our insurance. While he was asked questions about his sleeping habits, eating habits, etc. I was asked questions about my how many sexual partners I have, did I need to get treated for STDs, etc. I understand these are both important sets of questions however, why wasnt my husband asked the same questions as I was and why werent they concerned about my sleeping and eating habits? After discussing our experiences we both felt there was a little of sexism going on. Also, what kind of message is it sending to patients when behind the receptionist on a file cabinet there is a 3 lb bag of peanut M&Ms, a bag of Fritos and a McDonalds bag? (I kid you not!) Also on several occasions I have been charged for things I know my insurance covers, but I pay and two months later I get a check back from Creighton because I have been overcharged. Another thing dont even try to call and expect a response. Never happens. If I need a refill for medicine I am on I have to write a letter in order to get a response. Poorly run doctors office. Very poorly run. My husband and I are currently looking for a new group of healthcare professionals to help with our healthcare needs.

My family of five went to this clinic for 12 years. Even though we moved out of the Old Market to 132nd and Maple, we still made the drive downtown because of the great staff and Dr. Goodman himself. We were treated like family and almost always saw the doctor in a timely manner. Dr. Goodman is hands-down the best family doctor in Omaha.

I have been going here for years. If my main doctor is not available i can see ANY of the other doctors and they are all amazing. The nurses are always so sweet and helpful. When i had my daughter it was no question what doctors office she would be going to. I recommend this office to all my friends and family. :)

Weve been waiting two days for test results and have yet to have the office call us. We called and left a message but, nothing, not even a "we dont know anything yet". Do we not go to a health care professional to get one on one service? We could have gone to the ER and done better.
