Im unsure of who writes the reviews for this business, but my only guess would be the people who work there or people who were paid to write good reviews. My experience with Dr. Wilson has been nothing but problematic. Much to the contrary of what everyone else writes here; I would say hes the complete opposite. Hes not been helpful in the least. When I went in for my appointment he came in the room unprepared and had not looked over my animals medical history. Ive talked to him on the phone a few times after that and every time we talked he had still not looked over the chart and to top it off hed rather just pass it off to an internist to look than bother taking the time to do it himself. I also did not care for his "I know better then you" attitude. When I was there I felt like I was being talked down to, rushed through and all he cared about was profit and not about me or my animal. I also was lied to by the staff about having the other doctor (Dr. V.) return my call instead because I was unhappy with how Dr. Wilson was handling things. So overall, not a very pleasant experience and I dont plan on returning. They really need to learn better customer service skills and how to properly treat people. I hope this review will help to truly inform everyone of what its really like there and not some biased reviews by friends/colleagues of his.

Dr. V. Was fantastic. He took the time to explain his line of thought and the different possibilities of my dogs ailments. He was never rushed or short. Pricing was fair, I never felt pushed to go straight for the most invasive/ expensive procedure. I will definitely take my pets there again. This would have been 5 stars except the fact the receptionist was short, rude, dismissive when I explained why I was there. She never once said "hello" with a smile. Matter of fact I never saw her smile at all, even when I was making casual jokes. I may not be funny but a courtesy smile is well received. When I walked in she said " how can I help you " in a monotone voice with flat facial expression. When I said I just spoke with you in the phone... " she interrupted and said " oh ya, fill this out" ... Just not very welcoming to a first time client with a sick dog. There are many pet hospitals in the immediate area and I could have gone to another. But all in all I am glad I overlooked her attitude because Dr. V. Was welcoming, smart and had my dogs best interest. Thanks.

Just moved here to Vegas. Got frustrated after I called two other vet clinics nearby that placed me on hold for more than 5 min. Then, called Cheyenne Tonopah clinic and my call was answered immediately. I was able to get an appointment within 2 days. At our appt. The wait in the clinic was quick even though I had to fill out first-time-patient paperwork. The receptionist was so friendly and answered all my questions. Dr Wilson seemed like the kind of doctor that genuinely cares about your pets and your concerns. He was attentive and super nice. My daughter felt like he really cared about her new puppy. We also brought our other dog, Scrappy, so we could introduce him to Dr. Wilson and he checked him out even though we didnt make an appt for him. This place is the small town family feeling and understand that your pets arent just pets, theyre family too. I was surprised when I got my bill it was less than I expected to pay, unlike other vets that gouge you unnecessary fees. My fur babies and I Will be coming here from now on. So happy I found this place!

We have been taking our dogs to see Dr. V at Cheyenne Tonopah Animal Hospital for the past 9 years. We absolutely Love all that Dr. V and Dr. Wilson have done for our beloved dogs all these years. We even moved to the other side of the Las Vegas Valley and we still travel 45 minutes to an hour (one way), just to see the vets at Cheyenne Tonopah. Whenever I need help in getting a prescription refilled or just to ask a question, I know I can call Dr. V and he will call me back just as soon as he gets a chance. We have had to put three of our dogs to sleep due to an illness and old age. Dr. V helped us in a caring and loving way. He felt our pain and sorrow just as much as we did. The office staff has always been very accommodating and friendly. Our entire family could not imagine going to any other vet. Thank you to the entire staff at Cheyenne Tonopah Animal Hospital!

We have been going there for over 30 years. Different owners in the beginning and then we were blessed with Doctor Wilson and Doctor V. Over all the years of having many of our babies getting sick, old, regular shots, and boarding, we have never had a bad experience. In fact it is quite the opposite. They have the best level of compassion for their clients and families. They are so kind and protective over our little loved ones. Our Lucky loves to hear he is going to "the spa". He gets first class treatment there. They certainly lead by example as their entire staff are very caring. I feel that they have never over charged us or recommended a procedure that was unnecessary just to make a buck. They do their job from their hearts. We have recommended them to many friends over the years and they feel the same way! Hats off to all of you!

Unfortunately, we recently had to euthanize our dog. I called and asked for Dr. Vanderlinden to discuss details and get an understanding of the process. He promptly returned my call and spent time gathering information and asking delicate questions. As I recently had major surgery, it was impossible for me to take our dog to the office. Dr. Vanderlinden came to our home so that we could clearly understand what needed to be done. He spent all the time we needed to come to grips with a decision. He was professional, caring, understanding and empathetic. When we were ready, he administered the injection. He then shared his condolences, made sure we were O.K. and took our dog with him. Everything he did and said was all we could have asked for. We were impressed with him on many levels. We feel a deep sense of respect and appreciation.
