I went here for a check up, and I had the idea that Aspen would be easy to deal with and totally upfront with costs, etc. The new patient exam and full set of x-rays were free! Cool. So I get there and the receptionist is on the phone. Theres a sign-in sheet, which I am never a fan of, but ok. After I sign in, its about ten minutes before anyone greets me, even though the woman had since been off the phone. I already had my paperwork filled out ahead of time, so that was all set. I had a 1pm appointment and was not brought in until 1:20. The hygienist doing my x-rays did not introduce herself and had zero personality. Aspen advertises how friendly, accommodating, compassionate and comforting their staff is, but this woman was not at all. Using those digital x-ray bite wings are always very uncomfortable for me, and I told her so. It seriously feels like the thing is slicing a gash into the roof of my mouth every time! I hate them. Anyway, I tell her this several times and she makes no attempt to ease my fears or address my concern. Then I am brought to one of the dental chair stations, and she does a complete gums exam (with an assist from another staff who did not introduce herself), tells me about that, and tells me about mouth cancer screenings. Ok cool. Now its a 13 more minute wait for the dentist. She is very pleasant, introduces herself right away asks about my dental history hygiene, etc. She does a complete exam and whatnot and she is great. At this point, theres another hygienist in there with us, she does not introduce herself, and still doesnt when she escorts me to the billing persons office. This woman also does not introduce herself or explain her role to me. Whatever. She is able to go over costs etc with me, and that is all very clear. Ill go for my cleaning in a couple of weeks, and I felt the pricing was fair. Bottom line: everything was clean and modern, staff needs to brush up on their interpersonal skills. This is basic stuff- Get it together, folks.

My bad experience at this location started with me sitting in the dentist chair for over an hour waiting to have my exam. Eventually, I went out into the hallway and found a staff member and asked if I was forgotten about. She explained they had two emergencies that came in before me and that the dentist would be in shortly. Finally, When the dentist came in the room he didnt seem please to be meeting me. No warm hello or how are you. Just asked why I was there. He looked over my X-rays and then started my exam. He was telling me things that were going on with my teeth. I was having a hard time understanding him cause of the language barrier. He had a strong Indian accent. Plus he was using dental terms that I couldnt understand. When I would ask what he said he seemed fustrated. As he kept on with the exam he was shaking his head when he would find something wrong. I came in due to a tooth that fell out and was already having a hard time dealing with that. He listed off everything he could find wrong and asked me if I wanted to get treatment for the few problem teeth versus getting them extracted. I explained that I wanted to get treatment and save as many of my teeth that I could. He looked at me like I was making a bad decision. He gave me dirty looks as if he was disgusted with me and seemed very judgemental due to the lack of cleanings I havent had in the past due to a lack of insurance. After seeing the whole list of what needs to be done, I felt overwhelmed and extremely sad for the way I was treated. The manager of the office came over and apologized for the way I was treated and asked me to give them another chance. I cried the whole way home. I dont remember a time where I was treated this bad. I hope I never have to see another dentist as mean and rude as this man was and hope no one else has to go through what I did.

Absolutley horrible, I went there last year bc a temporary filling had broken from a root canal that i had had done previously before getting pregnant. They did a complete set of x-rays and an exam where they checked the gum pockets for depth. Instead of doing anything about the broken filling, they told me I had Periodontal Disease that would need to be treated with scale and root planing and antibiotics down in the gums. I was also told that I would need 2 root canals. I was then put in a room with someone who gave a very large estimate of what needed to be done. I could not afford all of this at once so they pushed a payment plan on me as long as i put down a deposit. I was completley shell shocked and needed to get back to work so i told them that i would sign it and leave the deposit at my next visit. Yesterday I saw another dentist in my area for a consultation so that I could get the needed work done now that I have insurance and can afford it. Much to my shock and relief apparently I do NOT have this disease, just a very mild case of gingivitis. The only treatment that I needed for that was the cleaning I had today and I dont need another one of those for 6 months. Oh ya and no root canals are needed either, this was both confirmed by Aspens panoramic xrays and theirs. The time between Aspens visit and this new dentist I have been disgusted with myself for thinking that I must have been taking horrible care of my teeth even though I do what im supposed to and didnt think there was anything wrong prior to Aspen. Please avoid this place, and if you do go there get a second opinion!

These people are not professional. They rescheduled me once which was fine. I then received both a voicemail and email confirming that my appointment was at 1:30. The day before my appointment they call me again to confirm my appointment but this time state that the appointment time is 2:00. When I question this he just says theyve always had me down for 2pm. When I tell him I have email confirmation from them for 1:30pm he says okay. So I asked to speak to the office manager because Im getting nowhere with the receptionist. He informs me that the office manager is at lunch but takes my name and number and assures me that shell call me back. Two hours later Ive heard nothing so I call them back (remember the appointment is the following day so I have to figure out whats going on). I get Beth Ann. Without explaining the back story I just ask what time my appointment is scheduled for. She then tells me they have me booked for 1:45. WTF?? 1:45 is neither 1:30 nor 2:00. They clearly have no respect for other peoples time and I guess think people wont notice if they just move things around to their own liking. These people are truly unprofessional. I asked her to cancel my appointment and informed her that I would be finding a more professional dentist office. Just avoid this place.
