I was visiting for a medical condition, not cosmetic reasons, and I was left with a strong sense that she had more important customers to serve than me. She did not listen to me when I explained why I was there, and instead wrote me the usual prescription that she gives to patients with my condition and rushed toward the rest of her day. I had to hit her with some wit in order to break her out of her haze, but it only lasted a moment, and ultimately did nothing to improve the service. If youre attending her practice for reasons which are not cosmetic, I would strongly suggest reminding her as soon as you meet her that you are a human, a person, and not a checklist. I did get the impression that she knew her stuff and was more than competent, though, so you might also benefit from visiting her if your condition is mild or not an unusual case. Her assistant, who was the only one I saw on my follow-up visit, had a much better bedside manner. Overall, though, the practice completely failed to meet my needs. She has a shop out front full of skin care products. I cant help but wonder if my experience would have been better if I were of a demographic that would be more likely to become a regular customer of the shop.

Im soooo disappointed...I couldnt be seen by Dr. H. for a very long time so I was seen by a PA....not personable, cold, didnt delve into my issue very much at all...prescribed a very high potency steroid that addressed symptoms that I didnt have...I called the office and asked the doctor to call me since it is her practice, after all! After calls from two different people, I was advised that Dr. H. WOULD NOT RETURN MY CALL...that if I wanted to see her AND PAY FOR THE VISIT AGAIN! then I was free to do so...its obvious to me, as I sat in the waiting room, that the practice is all about cosmetic dermatology...and I guess that is what brings in the most value to them!! A great disappointment to me...now I must find a doctor who is truly interested in my well-being!

I waited for an hour to see Melody. She spent about 5 minutes tops with me. The gown was stained. They emptied the trash while I was in there in the gown! I was the last customer for the evening and felt extremely uncomfortable and rushed. If there wasnt enough time, why not call and reschedule. They had no problem collecting my copay. I wasnt given the prescriptions she said she would write; they forgot. I didnt follow up after the fact. I will seek another dermatologist. Maybe it was just a bad day, but very unprofessional!

Awful. They dont care about anything except your money. She started her sales pitch before realizing she was doing a skin sales pitch and i was there for a hair appointment. awkward. then she told me there was nothing she could do for me, and started another sales pitch. I got bloodwork sent there too. Took 3 weeks to get back!! No one would answer my calls and every time i did get an answer the doctor was conveniently "with a patient" every.single.time. Please save your money.

Ive always had a pleasant experience at Dr. Harkaways office. The staff is extremely pleasant. I cant even begin to describe how wonderful Melody (one of the physician assistant) is. She truly takes her time and recommends the best possible for solution for any skin issue Ive had. It was easy to get in touch with her. I really felt comfortable during all of my visits. Thank you, Melody!! Youre the best!

Wouldnt recommend. Gave info to the tech and when the doctor (melody) came in, she wasnt aware of anything we discussed. Very quick consultation that was unfulfilling & unable to root cause issues. Lastly, gave prescription I wasnt eligible for with insurance & kept leaving messages to try to communicate but poor response on their side. Overall, Seems too big a business to make you feel personalized.

I felt as if I was wasting the Dr.s time. After waiting a month for an appointment I was rushed through and told to go see someone on my way out to purchase $200.00 worth of skin cream. It seems like she is more interested in the cosmetic aspect as opposed to healthy skin. I have seen the P.C.A. Jen in the past and she has always been personable, patient and very knowledgeable. I wont be going back.

Had an outstanding experience all around with this office. The office is clean and the people are competent and welcoming. I was in and out quickly. Carly was the sweetest! I had my two little ones with me too and everyone was understanding of my pokey little ones. Couldnt be happier! I highly recommend this office!

I was referred by a coworker. I have seen both melody and jen who are pas and love them both. I started going because a new medication caused some major skin issues and they were fixed during the first visit. 0 complaints side from some scheduling issues. That being said its hard to work anything with my schedule.

We took our son to Dr. Harkaway for the diagnosis of a rare birthmark. She was extremely knowledgeable and we felt very confident in the information she provided. She was through, answered all our questions, and we never felt rushed. Ive also seen her physician assistant, Jen, and she is great too.

I had skin tags removed and she rushed through the entire procedure. She didnt get all of them, I had under 15 to get removed. She removed 7 out of 10. I should have looked on the Internet first to see the reviews. I am going to call back and see if they honor the other 3 that she was too busy for.

Went to Botox event was charged 2 1/2 times what I have paid before so same amount. Nothing was explained . Tried to ask about laser treatments and was whisked out of the office without any interest . Will not go back.. Too many good places out there. Buyer beware !!!

Both Doctor Harkaway and Jen know what they are doing and they do it well. I see Dr. Harkaway for both medical and cosmetic services. Sometimes there is a wait. But Ive never been to any doctor who doesnt have a wait. I am very pleased.

Saw her for cosmetic. After the consult, I never saw her again. She recommended Vanquish which was expensive and did not work. She never once checked on me after she took the money. Horrible experience and wast of money.

I was seeing Dr. Dishler for a long time, but they told me she doesnt take Aetna anymore. I liked Dr Dishler she was great. Last time I had to see Carly and felt rushed.
