If I could give no star at all, I would. I scheduled my appointment 2 months ago. I get to my appointment about half an hour early considering I had paperwork to complete. I notice a waiting room full of people, unsure if they all patients. I had a large bill that could not be accepted to pay my copay because the office had no change. A courtesy bill of a whopping $15 dollars could not be accomodated. Instead I am being sent to drive to the nearest store to get change. I wasnt informed, so I asked if Dr. Baker was running behind schedule. I am told I have 5 people in front of me so yeah I they are. I said, you know I would get billed a late charge for not showing up to an appt. ,yet I show up and he is running late, what compensation do I get. The doctor is running about an hour or more behind schedule and I cannot wait, so my options are wait, reschedule until DECEMBER and get put on a waiting list. I am done with that office. I have heard many are done with that office as well. Its a shame because there are ways in seeing how to accommodate a patient, seeing perhaps of any possible openings, or at least acting like they care. Courtesy billing of my copay since I had cash but the office didnt have change. Little things that could have kept me waiting the hour or so or at least made me feel like oh well they tried. Instead I get a condescending smart ass woman who Dr. Baker has hired to take care of his incoming patients.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Bakers since 2005, and have always been most impressed with his thoughtful approach and thoroughness. Using a combination of allopathic and complementary medicine, Ive seen great improvement in my particularly difficult case. Recently I had a massive flare. Dr. Baker provided extraordinary care: he called between follow-up visits to check my progress and report on tests, he worked directly with my pharmacy to ensure that my topical prescriptions would not create chemical sensitivities, and he carefully and thoroughly examined me during each follow-up -- no quick look visits. I am quite sure that I received the very best of care, and I am on track to a complete recovery, with great thanks to Dr. Baker and his staff.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bakers since 2007. He has treated me on several different occasions, from both traditional and allopathic approaches, depending on the situation. He treats me like a family member. I find him to be EXTREMELY thorough, detail oriented, understanding, patient, fair and ethical to the utmost. He always explains all of your options, from the potentially risky to the ultra-conservative, allowing you to make an informed decision, without judgement. Additionally, his cosmetic dermatology work is OUTSTANDING. Attention to detail and a strong sense of aesthetics - when your face is in someones hands - is a very good thing.

I havent actually been in to see Dr. Baker; I dont doubt hes a highly qualified doctor. But Ive had one hell of a time dealing with his front desk staff. First I called twice over a span of a month, leaving messages each time - I never heard back. On the third call 2 weeks later I finally spoke to someone but she was very brusque. When she heard what insurance I have, I was summarily dismissed with a "We dont work with them, sorry, goodbye." I had wanted to see Dr. Baker because of his excellent reviews on google but trying to make that happen has left me with a great distaste for his office. Good luck if youre trying to become a new patient.

Dr. Baker was recommended to me by a top rated plastic surgeon who removed a squamous cell on my lip. She suggested I have regular checkups by a good dermatologist to monitor by skin surfaces. She said Dr. Baker was excellent. Dr. Baker is extremely through in his evaluations…going over my skin with a magnifier and checking each and every freckle or mole that might look suspicious. He incidentally helped rid me of a fungal infection that had bothered me for years and that no other doctor was able to eradicate. I highly recommend Dr. Baker for his professionalism, thoroughness and also for being a very nice guy.

Dr. Baker has by far been the best Dr. and office I have ever been to! My young daughter was dealing with a wart on her foot which I was previously taking to a podiatrist who had all in all traumatized her and had next to no experience with children. I was so happy to find a Dr.Baker to help and explain and agree that treatment shouldnt be worse than the diagnoses and has been working with us ever since with much success emotionally and physically not to mention he is great with children! The office is pleasant with no wait!

Doctor Baker did a full body scan on my first visit dictating all significant items on my skin in detail to his assistant Tina who entered the data into my electronic medical record. They use electronic records the way they were intended. Doctor Baker shows great skill in dermatology and takes the time and has the patience to explain his findings to the patient in a way that is most helpful and convincing. I have been to more than a few dermatologists and feel confident I have found the one I want to stick with.

I have been going to Dr. Baker since 2003 and even though I retired and moved to Little Egg Harbor at the Jersey shore, I still travel back (1.5 hours) to see him regularly. He is thorough, respectful and answers all my questions, no matter how dumb. Im a retired nurse and have always been impressed with his dedication and passion for his fine work and my skin health is all the better for his care. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a caring and outstanding dermatologist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Bakers for a little less than a year now, and we have accomplished more on my medical issues then I did in having spent the last 3 years going from dermatologist to dermatologist who all they wanted was to sell me beauty products and treatments and not get to the root of my problem. Hes very thorough and takes his time, and has even called me in the evening when he didnt like the way one of my test results looked, I highly recommend you give him a try.

My brother first referred me to Dr. Baker years ago. Since then, the rest of my family has visited for problems ranging from hair loss to skin cancers. Dr. Baker is the most thorough doctor that I have ever been to. He has picked up on problems that my primary physician did not think were worth pursuing. Even though there is often a long wait in the waiting room, your appointment will not be hurried when your turn comes. I highly recommend Dr. Baker.

Dr. Baker is thorough, professional and caring. He found several "problem areas" and discussed treatment options with me. He took time with me and I did not feel like I was just one in an assembly line. His assistant was knowledgeable and helpful and the office staff was friendly.
