Be careful !! I went for a annual physical which is free under my insurance. The lady at the counter even said I need not pay the copay. As I was doing it for the first time, I just followed whatever they asked me to do. The nurse first took me to eye-check (stand at a distance and read letters, thats it). Next, I just answered whatever questions doctor asked me. At the end, they billed me for eye check-up and as office visit. I was totally taken back as I was fully under the impression that the visit is free (I even got this confirmed in the beginning before proceeding at the front desk). So be careful! The service was good. The management has kindly agreed to revert/refund the charges albeit after more than an year of repeated complaints/phonecalls/messages. I gave only three stars because of this.

They cant even be bothered to answer the phones. Its impossible to get an appointment and if you do, prepare to be waiting way longer than you should have to. On top of this, theyll charge you for asking about your (historically high) cholesterol during a physical. They wont warn you that asking these questions will prompt another bill either. Youll spend 2 years trying to have it fixed. Youll hear people say it was or will be fixed on the rare occasion you can get a human on the phone. But then youll get anoher bill and youll just give up and pay the $15 because fighting it is impossible with people who dont understand customer service anyway. Theyre the factory farm of doctoring. Dont go here unless you truly have no choice. Even medemerge treats people better.

Do NOT come to this practice. First off, the ladies who work the main office are extremely rude over the phone and in person. Theyre also completely unknowledgeable; I had given them all my information prior to my appointment and the day of they didnt know which Doctor I was supposed to be seeing. It took thirty minutes to get me to an examination room and I was a new patient. They attempted to bill me even though a yearly physical is covered in my insurance. Lastly, I needed two referrals, for a dermatologist and a physical therapist, which they promised to mail and have not done so. Ive called three times in the past three weeks and they still havent sent me the referrals! These people are incompetent and lazy. Do not give them your business.

Went to get a Pap smear and the doctor messed up and tried to make me come again for it. I took off work for that appointment, then they expected me to pay twice. No thank you. Not even the first time they screwed up, like telling me Im allergic to shellfish without doing any tests, telling me its impossible to be allergic to avocados, and not giving me a referral to an ACTUAL allergist. After demanding to get a referral, I was told that Im not even slightly allergic to shellfish and that I have a slight allergy to avacados. Theyre idiots there. Im constantly being screwed over by them and they constantly take blood samples for tests I didnt ask for, nor do I need. And then they take my money any chance they can get. Terrible.

Stay away from this practice. I no longer visit here solely due to the poor customer service from the front desk receptionists. Read the other one star reviews. In my last attempt to see a doctor, I had to block my number to reach a staff member here. When Ive stepped in the clinic in the past, Ive observed that the front desk staff are usually on their personal phones and or gossiping in Spanish with each other. Ive had good experiences with the Doctors. Rutgers RWJ management should look into this and immediately remove these bad employees. Consequences will never be the same.

The worst service. Every time they keep me waiting for over an hour to call my name . Never on time . And calling the office is a pain . Today I was 20 mins late for my appointment then the doctor refused to see me even when I had a sever back pain and frequent ruination. Im a diabetic patient it could be my kidneys. But they didnt care. Cant wait to afford a better insurance so I can see other doctors in a better practice.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PRACTICE. The front desk is rude and impatient, all they know how to do is put you in a voicemail box that they never check. The doctors are incompetent and incapable of performing even the most basic task like writing a prescription refill. The clinic itself is dirty. The last time I was there, there was a puddle of blood on the bathroom floor. Disgusting!

Ive been going here for years and I love this practice not much people .. in and out of appointments I dont know how theres so many awful reviews about it the ladies in the reception are great also and doctors for maternity and pediatrics are the best!! I LOVE FAMILY MEDICINE if you ask me !!

They rarely return emergency calls and if you miss the return call they never call back. The telephone system is the very worst, and prescription refills often fall between the cracks. Doctors are truly great, if you can schedule one. Nursing staff is nice but administratively, the worse.

Waiting time here has always been very long. But the doctors Ive seen have been excellent and very helpful/great to work with! So as long as you dont mind a rather lengthy wait (at least an hour) Id recommend.
