Ive taken my dog here since he was a puppy, til the day he died and sent his remains to be cremated by Abbey Glenn through the Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital. Now my baby boy is in a beautiful wooden urn and placed on our fire place. Dr. kim and his staff were very compassionate and understanding, especially during the final days of my dog. Dr. kim gave me three options to consider, the final one being the most difficult one to take. The hospital staff tried their best and made my dog feel comfortabled for his last hours on this earth. It was comforting for me to know that I have choosen the right place for my dog. Yes, it was pricey for his medication/ treatment; but you know what I liked, after everything was done, I was able to return the unused medication and make a payment plan that coincided with my salary and financial standing. This place really care about me, their client and their patient, my dog. Dr. kim is my primary veterinarian for my other dogs and for my cat Im trying out the other Doctor on site, Dr. yim. Dr. Yim shes cool too, my cat loves her. I highly recommend the Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital! I cant stress that enough!

I dont want to be harsh, but this doctor does not know what hes doing. For 5 years, he had been diagnosing my dogs problem incorrectly as allergies. But we kept going to this hospital because it was nearby and convenient for us. But earlier this week we came to get help for my dog who suddenly started having difficulty breathing. He told us that my dog was just dealing with asthma and would be fine, but a few hours later, my dog coughed up some large object that he probably ate while nobody was looking. If the doctor had taken a closer look, he would have noticed that my dog wasnt dealing with asthma but was choking for hours. Had he noticed when we brought him and left him there for hours, my dog might still be alive, but hes not. So be careful when coming here with serious problems because this doctor does not seem to know what hes doing most of the time. Also, we were constantly overcharged for this less than adequate service.

I went in today because our Shih Tzu was diagnosed as having lyme disease and recieved antibiotics from another animal hospital in Fort Lee but wasnt doing any better. Actually her chest was thumping much harder making her head twitch even more. And she was more lethargic and couldnt jump up or down like she used to. Today, Dr. Kim TOOK HER TEMPERATURE (she was over 130!) and he USED HIS STETHOSCOPE to check her which the OTHER FORT LEE VET NEVER DID!! He was very professional in explaining the possible causes of her symptoms and gave me medication for her fever and possible nerve related problem and we will be back next week to see how she is. I want to add that the nurse, Gabriella? was also very sweet and thorough with the initial check up and she even showed me how to clean our dogs teeth, ears, and wipe away the discharge from her eyes. I feel so blessed that I finally found a lifetime vet for our precious one! Thank you!!

Im in my 70s my dear dog was 18 yrs old. I got him when he was just a puppy. We practically grew old together. Last month I brought him to Dr Kim for annual checkup. He said needs dental scaling did not consider his age to put him under. He was healthy no heart murmur no health issue. He DIED under Dr Kim care. No explanation was given, In a very casual way told me " I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED" How could he not know what happened. Seems a big cover up. Maybe Dr Kim had a bad night, maybe he did for the money, maybe,.maybe..maybe.. If the dog was in pain its a different matter. I dont care if my dog has a bad teeth or bad breath, should be still ALIVE, keep me company for God knows how many more years

My fiance and I took our puppy to Dr. Kim when he was only 3 weeks old. The entire staff was great in providing us with all the tools we needed to make sure he got all the nutrients he needed. This is our first dog so everytime I go there they are always more than willing to answer all my questions and give recommendations. The groomer does an awesome job as well! I highly recommend this animal hospital to everyone. As far as pricing goes, I have gone to another animal hospital with my cat and they were more expensive and not nearly as courteous as Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital. I believe customer service goes a long way.

I brought my dog Coco in a couple of weeks ago when he wasnt feeling well. It was our first visit to Ridgefield Animal Hospital. Upon entering, the staff was very friendly with us and when we got to one of the rooms, they took very good care with examining Coco. The doctor was very precise and informative. The medication has made Coco feel better after a few days we know what the boiled work results area and now we are following a treatment. Coco has been feeling much better after his visit and with the medication. Everyone was very professional, compassionate, and super sweet.

I have been taking my dog to Ridgefield Park Animal Hospital since 2008 when he was a puppy, Dr. Kim and his staff were very professional and courteous and they always gave me all the advise I needed to take care of my puppy. Dr. Kim has taken care of Max all these years and he has been very helpfull, I feel comfortable knowing that they always give me the care my dog needs and Dr. Kim would even make himself available during off hours when necessary. I am satisfied with the services provided by Dr. Kim and his staff.

My dog Mango was treated here for a life-threatening autoimmune disorder that required intensive care (blood transfusions) and over-night stays at the hospital. I was very impressed with the amount of support I received from not only the veterinarian, but the whole staff here. I knew that I was in good hands during a difficult time. They literally saved my dogs life with prompt treatment, medication (on-going) and follow-ups. I cant ask for more, my best friend is as healthy and happy as ever!

Have been bringing our family pet here for 10 years. Dr. Kim has been wonderful and kind. Our dog was diagnosed with cushings disease. He was put on medications and supplements. And because of Dr Kim he lived another 6 years. He just passed away last week at the age of 16. If it wasnt for Dr. Kim he wouldnt have made it that long. The staff is wonderful, caring, kind and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this animal hospital!

I accompanied my sister who was taking her Maltese puppy for a check up and shots. The facility was very clean and professional. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was impressed with the short wait time and how amazing Dr. Kim was. The prices were very reasonable.and low compared to many places. When I get a dog of my own I will definitely be a customer here also.

Dr. Kim and the staff at Ridgefield Animal Hospital are great! They are attentive, knowledgeable and understanding. My dog recently had surgery for a tumor and they did a great job removing it and restoring him to full health. I bring my dog and both cats to NJ from Manhattan specifically because I think this is one of the best animal hospitals in the area.
