Worst experience ever and I didnt even make it past the front door! I desperately needed to see a doctor and had just moved to the area. This place came recommended to me (why I dont know) and so I called in the morning to check that I could get in to see them. Their hours online and on their voicemail say they are open until 4:30 and the woman on the phone said if I could make it there by 4:00 they could see me. I had to leave work early to make it there in time and when I arrived (before 4:00) I was rudely told that the doctor was done for the day and there was nothing they could do for me. When I brought up their hours and the fact that someone in their office told me they would see me they responded with "well were closed now". Then I was told I could try again tomorrow and I said I had to work to which they said "well thats too bad". I was then told I needed to leave because they wanted to go home. I will never even try to go there again if these are the kind of people this doctor employs and if he is the kind of doctor that just comes and goes whenever he wants when there are sick people expecting to be able to see him then I dont trust him or his staff with my treatment. By the time I went there it was too late for me to find another place to go besides the ER or urgent care neither of which could have addressed my needs so I am having to go without treatment. Very irresponsible practice. Wouldnt even recommend them to my worst enemy.

I have been a patient at Wall Family since high school. I am now 27 years old. I hadnt been there in years because I lived out of state. Out of comfort, for some dumb reason, I came back. Worst experience ever! I was really sick with the flu (self diagnosed) and the receptionist was just plain rude. Because my insurance card didnt have a w.f.m. doctors name on it she gave me attitude. I told her I had phoned them and changed my PCP to them. She was still rude and basically reprimanded me and said I couldnt just see them once and change my PCP again. Sorry, long story. Then after waiting about 30 minutes (there were only 2 people ahead of me) I finally got to see Dr. Rittenberg. She was probably in the room for a total of 45, maybe 60 seconds? Didnt tell me what she thought I had, didnt even give me a chance to ask her. She listened to my breathing, asked me if Id ever taken the z pack, I said yes and she very quickly wrote a script and walked out. I took the antibiotic, laid on the couch for 5 more days and sort of felt better. Two weeks later, I now think i have walking pneumonia. I Cant even go back for a check up today because theyre closed. Its Saturday, day After New Years Day, before theyre scheduled closing hour. I wouldnt give them any stars but that field cannot be left blank.

I have been going to Wall Family Medical for over a couple of years now, I have to disagree with the last review. Dr. Rittberg is an excellent physician and extremly knowledgeable, she is very active in her patients medical history and conditions and my main point to bring up about Dr. Rittberg.... she is very easy to talk to (which you wont find in a lot of offices). Ive never had any issues with their entire staff. I believe their staff is very friendly from the minute you walk in until the minute you walk out. From personal experience, I know the crew of Wall Family Medical will treat you with respect, will listen to your medical concerns and will assist you in any way they can. Dr. Rittberg is one of my favorite doctors in this facily and I am extremely confident that she will not point you in the wrong direction or prescribe something that does not belong. Dont fault the facility or their staff for one posted bad experience, give them a try and then make the call. I am positive you wont be dissapointed. I am a WFM lifer. Boris. p.s. Just because you are prone to Ear Infections does not mean you HAD a full blown ear infection on that particular day.

Our single practitioner primary doctor had stopped practicing and we needed to find a new doctor. We chose Wall Family Medical on recommendation from a friend and her father who had gone there for some time. For the first year or two, everything seemed to work out fine with our medical needs. In general, we have been satisfied with the doctors. I dont know what has happened to this practice over the last year or so, but they really have fallen apart organizationally. They do not have good processes to get authorizations initiated for radiology, verification of tests and the ordering of prescriptions. These are very common needs of all patients. Every time my husband needed something we wound up having to call numerous times and went around in circles before getting what was needed. I also have encountered calling the office when it was supposed to be open, to find out that it was not. That is a major issue for a large practice such as this. Time to move on for us I believe. Unless an organizational manager steps in and makes them work like a good medical practice should, this group would be a less than ideal choice.

went in two days ago complaining of terrible earaches and fever (i had a fever when i got my temp taken there mind you) - dr. ritberg sees me for a total of 1 minute in the examination room, tells me my ears are clear (i ask, "Are you sure?" because ive been prone to ear infections all my life) She says yup. Take tylonol if you have pain, walks out.. here we are, two days later - i go to my old doctor and what do you know, I have an inner ear infection which required two antibiotics. I DONT recommend this facility. They dont take their time w/ their patients and also they dont take appointments so anyone can go in, whenever they want. Which is a pain because you can be there- it can be insanely packed-and the doctor will rush you, just as she did me. Thanks "Dr" Ritberg!

Awful. Staff is rude, and not because they are innundated with a busy office, just because they are rude and have not been told it is a problem. Regardless of the reason you may think its okay to be rude to a customer/patient, its not. You are working there, its your job to make it a pleasant atmosphere. The doctors are not the best, not personal at all, and will push pills at you. If thats what youre looking for then I guess you would like this office, but the lack of manners and care to help in the front office staff mirrors greatly the attentiveness of the doctors. DO NOT GO HERE. They are there for a paycheck, not to help the sick.

This place has become THE WORST HEALTHCARE ESTABLISHMENT ON THE EAST COAST! I grew up going here. They have done nothing but get worse every single year. So much to the point that I actually had to change my primary healthcare provider. F*<% Wall Family Medical! Worst service ever, worst staff ever, worst attitude ever!!!! Id give them no stars if I could. Dr. McCaliff is THE WORST. I switched back to Dr. Rittberg. BEST DOCTOR EVER!!!! She moved to rt. 34 and they have the best office and staff and place ever!!!! And theyre actually very holistic for a doctors office, they do everything there.
