TERRIBLE!!! I have been requesting my medical records from Doctor Goldson-Prophete and from her office since May, 2015 (over 1 year ago) and they tried to charge me $150 -- which violates New Jersey law. Then they stopped responding to my requests. I had to Complain to the Federal Civil Rights HIPPA Bureau just to HEAR from the doctor about receiving my medical records! Then the doctor wanted to charge me $100, even though all my records are kept and maintained in ELECTRONIC FORMAT! I asked the doctor to email or fax the records to me at a nominal cost, and Doctor Goldson-Prophete outright REFUSED to do so. She instead said she would send me an invoice for $100, and tried to get off the phone because she had a client to see. The doctor FINALLY said she would give me access to my records via the patient electronic portal, so I can receive an electronic copy for free -- 19 months after I first requested the electronic records and after my Complaints to Federal Authorities. The doctor also said they would send my records to another doctor for free -- which begs the question: why can another doctor receive MY records for free, but you make the patient pay an exorbitant fee?!!! Clearly, the doctor is capable of providing the medical records for free, but she refuses to do so to her own clients. Speaks VOLUMES about the doctors low level of patient consideration. Doctor Goldson-Prophete also spends very little time with her patients and the doctor demanded to see me each and every month, just to refill a prescription that I have had for the last 10 years! Sounds like the doctors office is just trying to get patients in each month just for routine refills. Is that even legal??? I would NOT recommend this practice even if they were the only doctors in New Jersey. So far, they did more HARM to me than good. The stress alone of trying to get my medical records for the last 19 months was tremendously damaging to my health and wellbeing, and Doctor Goldson-Prophete expressed very little, if any, concern for it. I thought she was great at first, but she and her office showed their true unprofessionalism and highly questionable conduct. I will NEVER visit that practice again.

Dr. Goldson has a very harsh beside manner. She can be very rude at times and does not pay enough time and attention to her patients. I had a hospital visit on Sunday and was given necessary meds. I had a follow-up visit with Dr. Goldson on Wednesday(yesterday). She provided asthma meds and told me to continue taking the medications the hospital provided. There was a problem at the pharmacy with the asthma medication that she prescribed and the pharmacy called her on Thursday(today) to correct the issue. Later during the day I realized I was still getting worse from my original visit to the hospital. My medications from the hospital were low and without more I might end up back at the hospital TONIGHT. I have spoken to her office at 4:30 Pm, 5:30Pm, 6:30 Pm, 7:45pm & 8:30 with her answering service. 4:30Pm & 5:30PM I was told she was in with patients. 6:30 PM I called the office back and gave a detailed account of what the problem was and my fear was the pharmacy would close before I was able to fill the prescription. 7:45 PM the office (not doctor) called back to say the doctor was not going to prescribe any medication because I (myself) just started taking the medication today. I informed the staff member that we are referencing two different medications and the importance of the medication. She said the doctor is in with her last patient and she will call you when shes done. 8:30 PM I called her office to get her answering service and no call from her. I wasnt expecting the doctor to walk out of a patient visit to pick up my call however, I did expect a call and resolution before my pharmacy closed today.

Ive been a patient for 4+ years, and services have definitely declined. Dr. Goldson has the right idea in mind in expanding her practice; however might I suggest she start with communication as a necessary skill and decide on the most effective way exercise this skill (i.e. verbally, or electronically). Communication is a skill that is lacking among the staff and Dr. Goldsons practice. A staff is representative of the doctor and her practice; therefore personal appearance should be professional, followed by knowing how to interact with the patients, i.e. basic introduction of who you are when checking my vitals is helpful. Having a staff member come into the room to inform me that the doctor I came in to see will be with me shortly, is helpful. (Last experience, after waiting for 20 minutes, I left the room to find out what the delay was when I was told the Physicians Asst who was supposed to see me would be with me soon. About 15 minutes passed by and I asked again how much longer it would be, I was told I would have to wait an hour). Are you kidding me??? I left. Most often whenever I pay a copay, a bill finds its way to my mailbox, despite having a receipt. It would be especially nice to make an appointment without being on hold for 13 minutes just to ask my name and place me on hold AGAIN. Based on the hours listed (and 45 minutes to spare), I called today, just to get a message saying the office is closed.

I went here because I was sick with a bronchial infection, theyre nearby, and they happen to take our insurance. Extremely mediocre experience. Staff was very unfriendly, zero smiles or sympathy, no kleenex in the waiting room, and I didnt even think the nurse or physician who checked my vitals knew what she was doing. She never checked me for the flu, and she said I sounded fine when she checked my lungs with her stethoscope (meanwhile, I could hear my own wheezing). I called a few days later (on a Monday) because I still wasnt feeling better and wanted to see if I needed another course of the antiobiotic or a different antiobiotic, and nobody could help me. The doctor was out sick, and there was nobody else there who could do something as simple as phoning in a refill to the pharmacy. (I understand if the doctor is sick, but any doctor running her own practice should have at least some back up help for her clients.) I called multiple times, since I had to fly out of town the next day for work, and they paged the doctor but there was no response. There is no way I would choose this doctor to be my main provider, and Ive had better service at an urgent care clinic.

Absolutely terrible experience. She talks to me like I am bothering her. Very dry personality and just speeds through our visit. I never feel comfortable asking questions because shes so rude about it. There is no way I can have a dr that behaves this way. I would think compassion & patience is dr 101. I really do not think this lady cares if I live or die. I also had an appt for 1:30 and did not see the dr until after 3:30. It was my 3month follow up and she didnt even know why I was there. She began reading off test results from tests done 3months ago with no regard. With some of the results I didnt understand why I was getting them 3months after the fact. She really does NOT care! Its written all over her! I dont even think during my visit if she even looked at me. Just bizarre! I can say that with the other nurses I have had a good experience. They are patient, personable and kind. Once I find another dr I am out of there!
