I went in yesterday morning around 10 am. I woke up with what I thought was an ear infection, I also had a cough left over from bronchitis in October. I chose Patient First because I thought I might need a chest X-ray. I walked in there were 2 people waiting. I was greeted by a very friendly young lady I signed in as she instructed. Within 5 minutes she was registering me she was very personable and efficient. The next person I met took me back, took my vitals and put me in a room after a small assessment she said a Chest X-ray was warranted. Again, another friendly personable staff member. Within another 5 - 10 minutes a tech came to get me, she was a sweetheart. X-ray done she asked if she could get me some water for my cough. Back in my exam room, I waited for over an hour, nearly falling asleep twice. Finally a woman came in, she started to introduce herself but as she was doing it, distracted by getting the computer cabinet open she didnt finish she left the room. When she came back in she announced "everyone is sick weve been so busy 100 patients yesterday and about 35 today so far". I thought she was saying this to explain the wait. But then she continued on saying "I guess people dont have family doctors or just dont bother to see them". Wait a minute isnt that what Urgent Care is for was my immediate thought. I then felt the need to justify why I didnt go to my family doc. I assume this Doctor thought it was ok to take out her frustration with me. She never looked me in the eye when treating me in fact she never introduced herself. Im the patient Im supposed to be the cranky one. She examined me, told me the findings of my X-ray the whole time as if I was a bother. She sent scripts for an antibiotic and cough suppressant. She couldnt have been more indifferent. I would have given this visit 5 stars if she had been half as good as her supporting staff. Dr Dear could stand to take a lesson from the staff who really know how to deal with sick people. I found out her name when she turned and I saw it on her badge. Let me end this by saying Ive worked in the medical field for 20 years. Dr. Dear I hope you soon learn your frustration is not your patients problem! And to the 3 members of the staff who gave me great care, thank you!

5 star Ha!...i went in for my yearly work required ppd test...Initially, I was informed... it would be just 38 dollars and this could not be billed to insurance..im fine with that...on the way out 38 became 58 dollars...and that wasnt the end of the world for me..happily paid and went on my way...i just wanted to get it done...was just going for the convenience...came back 2 days later for the reading of ppd...no problem...fast friendly and convenient...last night I received in the mail... a bill...an additional charge of 97 dollars!!!...none of the additional charges were never ever explained beforehand...im sure ...its all in there when you sign your name to the papers with all the small fine print ...that no one ever takes the time to read....we can all relate to this...so im sure...they are protected legally... used them before for the same test...dont recall it being so costly...if so...i simply wouldve ...just gone to my primary care office... PF fast friendly professional convenient...sure......BUTT... ...a 38 dollar test... a simple test that a medical technician could perform and read...let the buyer beware...heck ...if I wanted to... I couldve gone to several of the new car dealer showrooms that dot the road across the street for the same type of shenanigans...where you would expect this type of practice ...i will go in or call and complain...but will it do anygood?...if this is their current business model ... they certainly and simply are ... (NOT)..... Patient First...i wonder what the hidden costs would be ... if i had a mild to moderate to severe problem... Sheesh...38...+20+97= $$$$$...cmon...if this is the wave of the future for health care...im scared...this is all true...ive used them before ... was always pleased ...i hope my experience helps ...at least... ONE... hard working person...utilize choice.....TO PARAPHRASE A WELL KNOWN POLITICAL CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT...I DONT THINK I WAS OR WILL BE TREATED FAIRLY............yes im upset...

I took my Mother here for a cat scratch. My advice; dont go here unless youre prepared to spend hours trying to fix their billing errors. Someone in their billing department doesnt know how to bill the insurance company so youll probably get a bill, after wasting hours of your time calling both your primary and secondary insurance youll realize its because they billed the insurance company with improper codes on the form. Youll have to call Patient First back again and explain to them how to bill the insurance company. Later theyll probably send you another bill because it still wasnt properly submitted (yes, it happened to me twice). Ive wasted over 2 hours so far and its not over yet. I know everyone makes mistakes but Patient First, your mistakes are costing me time and time is money. I would have wasted less time going to the ER. NEVER AGAIN...

Extremely efficient operation. Everyone very pleasant and treated me with utmost respect. The lab and x-ray techs were very nice and treated me better than any other test facility I have been to in the past. Doctor and nurses were top notch. Next day follow-up call was from a nurse extremely knowledgeable with my information. I arrived as the doors were opening and was the only patient during the 2 hours I was there - this could be a contributing factor for the focused attention. This was my first direct experience with Patient First - this facility is within minutes of my home so much more convenient than the local ER and much cheaper/faster. This was one of my best experiences with medical facilities and services. Keep up the good work.

Friendly staff, but waited 3 hours today to see the Dr.! Not once did anyone even walk into the room to check on me. It wasnt even busy. Finally, when the doctor did arrive she said " Oh..youve been waiting sooo long". No apologies or anything. She said "Well, you have a viral infection and there is really nothing we can do about that. Try taking Allegra or something over the counter". Allegra fornthe flu??? I understand that antibiotics wont work for the flu, but I went in sick as a dog, waited 3 hours, paid a lot of money and left sick as a dog. I thought doctors were supposed to help people? And if she is telling people to take Allegra for a viral infection then maybe she needs to go back to med school. Wont be going back.

I had a very wonderful experience. I had been having some chest pains and they saw me almost immediately. They took my insurance i called ahead to check first bc its the smart thing to do. They did a bunch of tests right there and sent me to an affiliated cardiologist for more testing. The staff were the most professional staff ive ever seen. Im very shy with my body and i didnt even have to ask for a female to do my ekg (you have to be topless) it was automatic. They explained everything they were doing thoroughly and asked if i had any questions. I would definitely recommend patient first.
