I have been going to Durham vision for the past 8 years for my eye exams and have never had any issues. Based on my experience I now bring my whole family to have their eyes examined by Dr. Pate at Durham Vision. The staff at Durham Vision is extremely nice and helpful with handling insurance claims. I have never had to wait to get in for my appointment, they have always been on time. Dr. Pate even takes the time to explain exactly what is going on with my eyes. I would strongly recommend going to Durham Vision for eye care.

Dr. Pate always provides an extremely thorough examination and works with me to ensure that he is addressing my concerns in a way that fits my needs and preferences. It was ok..the eye doctor was very professional and greatly informed me of my eye health although he needs to be more friendly..not very much of a people person. But now the eyeglass fitting lady wasnt very helpful in answering my questions about frames. When they arrived they didnt even clean them off when they gave them to me and on top of that refused to give me my prescription papers that I PAID FOR! Wont be going back..

I have been a patient of Dr. Pate since he became owner of Durham Vision eye care center. Both he and his entire staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. Dr. Pate is an excellent optometrist consistently getting my prescription exact. When I had an issue with a pair of lens, the office quickly rectified the issue. Yes, I would recommend them.
