Affordable prices. Good science. I am new to North Carolina, and if you are reading this review, I expect you understand how apprehensive I was about locating a new vet for our dog and cats. I was able to get an appointment in only a couple of days with Dr. Soren Windram (he seems to prefer being called by his first name...refreshing!) I brought along my poodle with his laundry list of problems. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of time I was afforded to present everything including the previous labs from our out of state vet. As the spouse of a physician/scientist at Duke, I was also impressed with the efficient, common sense conclusions Soren came to. He showed a real-world appreciation of the balance the of price of procedures vs. the expected outcomes of treatments. Even though I requested a needle biopsy of a mass, the entire bill including the biopsy as well as the exam totaled only $62. What??? I double checked my bill, but that was the correct total. What a bargain! The clinic is located in an attractive, new building on 15-501 between Sams and the shopping center that has Barnes and Noble, Walmart and Dicks Sporting goods. I was completely impressed. I am very relieved to have found a very good new "vet home" for my animals on the very first try!

I will never take my pets anywhere else! I have been to several vets in the area and have found none that compare to New Hope Animal Hospital. The vet techs are very knowledgeable and friendly and always treat my animals kindly. The rooms are nice and large, and have windows which makes the animals feel more at home. Dr. Soren, and Dr. Christine are wonderful. They work late when needed to make sure that your pets receive the best care possible. They follow up with you, explain the medications, and also give honest advice about what they would do in your situation. They also hold after hours clinics for a local rescue group. They continue to research new procedures and alter their medical practices based on what is best for your pet. I fully trust in their services and drive about 30 minutes to take my animals to them after I moved last year. They are not the most cost-effective, but you get what you pay for. You can also check out the photo book they have in their office that is full of lovely cards and photos that have been sent in from happy clients. You will not find a more loving and caring vet.

They are a fantastic animal hospital. Ive been bringing my cat here for 2 years now and have nothing but good things to say about them. 1. Pricing. Their pricing is incredibly reasonable, with basic wellness exams being a flat rate and being upfront about any additional costs. They also are not pushy about treatments. 2. Pet care. They not only let your pet sit in a quiet exam room while waiting if they are nervous about other animals (assuming they arent super busy), but are very kind and gentle with nervous animals. They are very understanding that my cat is a little bit nervous around loud noises and new people and make the experience pleasant for both of us. 3. Business. The location is easy to get to, always incredibly clean, and all the staff are great to interact with. I was recommended this place by a friend and would highly recommend it to any triangle area pet owners.

It is difficult in this small space to say enough about the excellent care provided by New Hope Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Soren Windram has provided superb care to our 5 kitties and 2 dogs for eight years. He stays current with best practices, fully explains the medical situation, and keeps his charges relatively low. He and his staff are always helpful and considerate, and obviously care deeply about every animal who comes through their doors. If they dont have an opening and your animal needs to be seen, they allow you to drop-off your pet who will then be worked into their busy day. We are leaving the country and will sorely miss the best in care and the genuine warmth of Soren, the vet techs and the front office staff.

Soren and Dr Bishop are both amazing. Our dog Hadley developed a mast cell tumor on her paw last summer and it ended up being a 6 month process of surgery / radiation / chemo and an intensive recovery process. These vets were phenomenal throughout it all - helping us understand the diagnosis and treatment options, referring us to VSH for treatment and fielding our questions along the way. When Soren checks out our dog he sits down on the floor and snuggles her for a long time while talking to us... she loves him and has no problem going to the vet. We moved to Philadelphia recently and we talk all the time about how much we miss this practice.

My fiance and I have been to four other veterinary clinics in the area and finally settled on New Hope. Dr. Soren Windram in particular is a rare breed in any kind of medicine - he always carefully and thoroughly explains all angles of a possible diagnosis or treatment including "how" and "why," is gentle with his patients, and knowledgeable about his profession. If only I could find a doctor for myself that was anything like him! All the staff also go out of their way to hold clinic days after hours for a local foster organization. They are truly invested in helping rescue pets.

Ive been taking my three dogs here for years now. One of them is a large dog (shepherd/samoyed mix) who is 13 years old and I attribute his amazing health and longevity in no small part to the excellent care he has gotten by the staff here. New Hope is a good 30 minute drive from my house, but its well worth it! The staff is always friendly, with me and my muttley crew. They make recommendations on care but are also honest and tell you when things arent necessary. I couldnt be happier, and am so thankful a friend recommended the place to me when I first moved to Durham.

Ive found all their staff from the front to the clinical team, very friendly, skilled, knowledgeable and caring. I had a very sick cat that I decided not to bring to vet anymore, because it would be too much stress for him and we knew he isnt going to get better. Dr. Bush took many hours in several occasions to answer every single question I had via email without charging any consult or exam fee. Im so grateful for what everyone and especially Dr. Bush did for my cat. Ive taken a few stray cats there too, and they have special discounts for good samaritan.

I cant begin to tell you how happy I am with NHAH. I left another vet practice after quite a few issues with their staff communications and expensive bills, and with NHAH, the prices are almost half, and the care is easily 5 times better. Every member of their staff has been exemplary in their treatment of me and my 3 dogs. Even my very nervous, neurotic dog is obviously more at ease here - the plentiful treats help, but the gentle, kind care is the clincher. I am thrilled to have found them. I used to dread vet visits, but now its no big deal.

We have 4 animals that go to NHAH. We switched to them almost a year ago, I cant say enough how wonderful they are. They provide excellent customer service for very reasonable rates. We have seen both dr.s and really like both of them. The staff and groomers are all very friendly. They spend time with you and make sure all of your questions are answered before you leave. You never feel rushed and they dont do excessive procedures. We have used several vets in various areas of NC over the years and for our family they are ranked #1.
