My husband and I moved to Raleigh from out of state 1 year ago. I have several health issues and I was quite concerned in finding providers who would take on a challenge., Once we were somewhat settled in to our new home I got on the computer and typed in "Raleigh Internal Medicine". Dr Davis name was at the top of the list. I read the reviews about her care and her credentials. While there are some people who are frustrated with having to have an appointment with either the PA or the FNP prior to seeing a physician, I was impressed with that procedure. To me it meant that the physician was caring for patients who were actually sick and that they were her first priority. When I did see Dr Davis for the first time I knew that I had found a provider who truly cared about the patient and their illness. I like that she is very pro-active in caring for her patients and that she also focuses on wellness not just disease. I have seen Dr Davis many times now and have always come away from her office secure in knowing that if she didnt have an answer for my problem she would be willing to refer to someone who could. I could not ask for a better primary care physician. Recently, I developed problems with my back and needed the services of Dr Gruber who is the chiropractor located in the same office. Dr Gruber also displays that "special touch" with his patients. He willing listens to what is going on in your life and helps you develop a plan to aid in your healing. While I do not have as much as experience with him as I do Dr Davis, I would give him 5 stars in regards to treatment and compassion. The office staff have always been most helpful in regards to scheduling an appointment or getting a prescription called to the pharmacy for me. It is difficult to take a group of people and have all of the personalities blend, but this office (in my opinion) has done a great job. Med One Medical Group will be my home for medical care. I wouldnt think of going anywhere else!

***Update*** I was contacted by Monica after posting this review. I felt ha rassed. I dont know who the other reviewer has been talking to, but the only way they would know I was a woman would be two ways...either by talking about it with the doctor [which is not legal] or they ARE the doctor. My review stands. Anyone who acts this unprofessionally should not be in business. I was seeing a specialist for a rare condition two years ago. Unfortunately, when the condition flared again this month, I could not return to the specialist because my insurance has changed and I can no longer afford it. I visited Med One and was seen by Monica Dupuis. I explained the situation to her and gave her my entire medical record concerning the condition. To make a long story short, Ive been trying for two weeks to get paperwork straightened out for short term disability. I have called seven times and been up there in person once to leave a note for Monica. Their office staff, with the exceptions of Olga and Tina, has been a *nightmare* to deal with. Monica finally called me back and was *angry* with me about the paperwork issue, telling me I will do my best but this sucks before she hung up the phone. To make matters worse, she did not fill out my paperwork correctly so now Im having to deal with them and her AGAIN. I am currently looking for a new doctor with compassionate staff who does not get angry with their patients for asking them to do their job.

I have been going to MedOne for *years*. I see both Dr. Gruber (chiropractor) and Dr. Davis (my PCP). So, I can recommend both - having provided me *excellent* patient care. I would never even consider trying other medical practices in the area. As a runner, I get little tweaks from time to time from putting lots of miles on my body. Dr. Gruber takes care of them quickly and with minimal pain. Hes personable, and always gets me back to 100%. Dr. Davis is brilliant - taking the extra step to look at a patient holistically instead of just a bunch of symptoms. Shes extremely responsive, returning calls or emails (yes emails!) quickly. I appreciate that both doctors are always current on the latest research/news/treatments, and I am thankful to have found a practice full of thoughtful, caring medical professionals. Go to them - you will NOT be disappointed!

Highly recommended! Dr. Davis has been my primary care physician for 10 years now and my trust in her and her staff have never wavered. When I was looking for a medical practice, a priority for me was to find a doctor who would work with me as a partner, listening and responding to my medical needs and concerns. Dr. Davis and Dr. Gruber deliver excellent patient-centered care with a holistic approach. I love Med Ones Onestop approach for routine diagnostic tests (almost every test is provided in house for quick results) as well as their referrals to excellent specialist when needed. Dr. Gruber takes care of all my chiropractic needs and is excellent at his craft. So happy I found a practice that treats me with respect, honors my time, and listens and responds to my needs!

I made my first appointment with Dr. Davis after an illness from overseas travel. She listenes to all my symptoms and started looking into all the potential causes. Over-stressed, sleeping disorders from time differences, and root cause analysis instead of just pushing medication and sending me on my way. Regardless of it being dr. Davis herself or any of her PAs they listen and understand various options available. I have been a patient now for over 6 years and would recommend med one to anyone looking for a provider that cares. The staff has always accomadated my schedule and are very professional. I have gotten my health back under control thanks to Dr. Davis and appreciate her and the entire staff at med one!

I have been a patient at Med One for two years. I am very impressed with the professionalism of both Dr. Davis and Dr. Gruber, and the entire staff. Great nursing staff, as well. Dr Davis is a very thoughtful and caring physician who does an excellent job of listening to patients during office visits, returning calls to her patients and giving them referrals when needed to specialists. Dr. Gruber knows a great deal about physical therapy and is extremely helpful to patients who experience muscular pain or need to do physical therapy or the services of a chiropractor. This is an outstanding medical practice and highly recommended.

The physicians at Med One are truly unique in their approach to wellness. From the very first appointment, each visit involves conversation about how you are feeling and how you are progressing with your particular situation. They listen. I love the fact that they combine chiropractic with traditional medicine and work together to "cure what ails you" and help you maintain that level of wellness. Drs. Davis and Gruber are sincere, caring, and committed to your well being. The staff is friendly, efficient and accommodating. I feel very fortunate to have found them and highly recommend them for you and your family!

DISAPPOINTED, DO NOT GO THERE. I was mislead and no apology offered. I had an appt for physical as a new patient. Cannot have a physical on first visit, wld have to pay $20 copay just to "establish" a relationship with nurse practioner. Doesnt seem right that I have to come twice just to see dr for physical and pay another $20. When asked for explanation and understanding, The check in clerk was very rude so I walked out. Do not go there. Too many physicians in area to choose from.
