I have been going there for 3 years and until lately I was happy. The office staff forgets call backs, they do not mail back lab results (i was told something was wrong over the phone via reception staff and to come in after waiting a month to hear something - I had to call the office to hear this. Only when I came in Dr. Henderson told me that nothing was wrong.) To put it in a nutshell, I had a receptionist tell me that something was wrong with my lab results when there was nothing wrong to begin with, and on top of it, I had to call to hear about my results; CFM did not think it was important enough for me to know the results of my lab work unless I made the appointment to come in myself and see - no mailings, no notification, no courtesy - an extra payment... I always feel rushed when I am in with the doctor, and that my concerns or issues are listened to only half-heartedly, if at all. As I mentioned, I used to be happy with this facility and if the passion for care had stayed the way it was, I would not be looking for another physician as I am currently.

The main concern about this practice is the health, but not just physical health, they are concerned about the complete wellness of their patients and will do their absolute best to encourage and get you back to feel 100%. Ive been a patient here for twenty years, theyre very responsive and friendly. I called Monday morning about a problem, saw my doctor Monday afternoon. He referred me to a specialist. I was worried about trying to find a new place, how will I schedule the appointment, etc, but they took care of everything. The specialist was in the same building, and the Capital Family staff arranged it so I could just walk downstairs and sign in there. Didnt even have to move my car. That was nice.

I was Dr. Forsyths patient. I was under-impressed by his diagnostic still. He has the tendency to overprescribe unnecessary exam, and what made it worse is he is not familiar with the difference in billing consequence between diagnostic and screen exams. He misused a diagnostic code for my screening mammogram, and refused to correct, which cost me $300 out of pocket. He cares much more about billing your insurance than minimizing his patients financial burden.

Ive been seeing Dr. Forsyth for about 14 years and hes always made me feel hes invested in my health. The practice has always had available appointments so that Ive never felt I had to wait an unnecessarily long time. Ive been given good sound advice on my health that has helped me lose weight and improve how I feel. Dr. Forsyth is an old school doctor who wont pander to his patient; he does whats best for them. I wont leave this practice.

Capital Family has a great staff, always friendly and willing to help and keep you informed. Their online portal is great for accessing your record, seeing the results of your visits and labs, and getting up to date info on your appointments and interactions. Ive had a great experience with Dr Forsyth as my PCP. He clearly explains the treatment path and why hes taking that approach.
