When my cat, LB, ruptured her anal gland I asked the vet if she could stitch up the quarter-sized hole. She told me it would be better if it healed on its own. So I waited and spent money on repetitive visits over the course of a month and i saw almost now improvement on her wound. Finally after the month the vet suggested stitching her up and she healed quickly. If she would have been stitched up when I first brought her in it wouldnt have burnt such a hole in my pocket. Soon after I brought my dog in when he started limping. The vet told me that she was almost positive he tore a ligament and she would have to refer him for surgery in Casselton. When I reminded her that he had a heart condition she told me she couldnt refer him for surgery because he would probably die on the operating table. So she concluded our appointment with a bottle of Rimadyl and the idea that my three year old dog would limp around with a useless leg for the rest of his life. I decided I needed another opinion and went to Kindness. The vet immediately threw out the idea that Bleus ligament was torn and also told me if surgery were ever necessary it could be done. Bleus leg healed on its own in two weeks. The vet at All Pets has too many responsibilities to be running such a large establishment with only one vet. I felt as if she would rush through my appointment and always give me the worst news she could think of. At least shes reasonably cheap but Kindness was much better for the same price.

Dr. Lori and her staff have been nothing but great to ALL of my animals. I have two cats and a dog and they are all given the utmost care and respect. Dr. Lori has sterilized both my cats and they were concerned how my female was reacting to the anesthesia and so they kept her over night - for free. They also work with rescue groups (I know because I volunteer for one) and are very knowledgeable all around. I have been in the clinic and seen people who arent clients walk in with an injured or sick animal and receive treatment right away. Im not sure why the other poster was turned down - that doesnt make any sense to me. They are also knowledgeable on behavior issues as well which has helped with my cat who wouldnt stop peeing everywhere. They are kind and caring to my cats - never had a problem with that so I wouldnt say they arent for cats. Im really sorry others had problems. We never have had any and I would recommend this clinic over all others. I will be sad to leave All Pets when we move. Dr. Lori is a no-nonsense doctor who tells you what needs to be done and is the best course of treatment - she pulls no punches but is caring as well.

The staff at All Pets Animal Hospital are dedicated to providing the best possible care for our non-human companions. Their dedication goes beyond their clients. Our two dogs are part of our family, we wish the best and MOST INDIVIDUALIZED care possible for them. We had moved from one Veterinarian to another until we were referred to All Pets Animal Hospital. We have been their client for over 5 years and there has never been a time where the staff wasnt available to respond to our needs in a timely fashion - this includes emergencies after hours, etc. They truly care for their animal clients and as a result provide outstanding customer service. We recently had to put one of our puppies down. It was not easy for us, but the gentle and steady guidance and hands of the staff at All Pets made the process much easier. I just cannot say enough about how great the staff is.

When we lived in Grand Forks, we brought our pets to All Pets. Since leaving Grand Forks, we continue to utilize their services. Dr. Lori has always been wonderful with all of our pets including a turtle, a cat, and our dog. The prices are fair and competitive, and all of the staff have exhibited nothing but competence and kindness. Im sure there are other great vets in the area too, but we plan on continuing the relationship with All Pets. If I had to identify any negatives, I would ask for a better selection of food brands and a website. Both of these are non-issues, however. As has been noted by other reviewers, pay no attention to the poor reviews. They are NOT just trying to take your money, and they are more than willing to help any animal. The "no new customers" comment doesnt even make sense, and I HIGHLY doubt it happened.

I have used All Pets for years and years. I think Doc Gossard is the best vet in the whole world and we are lucky to have her in this area. She is caring about all animals and their families. I have always had good response from after hours calls. People have to remember the after hours is not the vet office, its an answering service. If I was ever treated poorly by the answering service I would let All Pets know. They cant correct that problem if they arent aware there is a problem. Doc and her staff have even come to my home to check on a pet when he or she has been ill. I foster dogs so Im at All Pets ALOT... Thank you

I called to see if they would allow me to buy heart-guard without testing my 6 month old puppy who has never been exposed to Mosquito. Everywhere else in town said that she doesnt need to be tested yet All Pets said she does. I do not want to spend unnecessary money that is not even needed. My mom brings her dog and cat here and i love the service. I just find it absurd to have to spend the money on a test when everywhere else and the breeder said she doesnt need to be tested this year.

Dr. Gossard doesnt pull punches, she explains things in a succinct manner. I dont find this offensive, I find it refreshing. Id much rather have someone tell me exactly what is wrong (or right) with my pet, then have someone pussyfoot about the issue. I dont go to a vet to make friends, I go to the vet that gives my pet the best care they can get. Dr. Gossard and the staff at All Pets fits this bill perfectly. I would highly recommend All Pets Hospital.

Allpets is not a fancy place with fancy chairs and decor. It is no frills kind of place. Why is this important? Because this means you pay for pet care and not the decor. The vet is also no frills. She seems to actually love my pets. She doesnt try to push extra procedures or treatments. When I go in I know my pet is going to the best care. The bill at the end doesnt put me in shock and I am glad I brought my pets in.

Ridiculously terrible service. Called in an emergency with a life threatening situation for my 4 month old puppy. Emergency operator wouldnt let me speak through my problem before interrupting me and refusing service since she wasnt a client of theirs. So upsetting in a time of so much worry, lost my service before even getting it. Not impressed. If I could give 0 stars I would
