THE BEST VET I HAVE EVER BEEN TO, HANDS DOWN!!! I have an old dog, and his hips went out. He was howling in pain so I took him here after seeing the great reviews. Even before I got to the office, the lady on the phone was so nice that she squeezed me in that day. This was in response to the fact that I was very frantic on the phone and starting getting a little emotional. She immediately picked up on this and offered to squeeze me in that day. What compassionate people. Next, I was helped by a wonderful lady named Alesha who handled the intake process. She was a fantastic lady, and the whole time she was so sweet to me because she could tell I was very distraught. Her concern was very genuine, and it was incredibly comforting having somebody around that truly cared about what you are going through as a pet owner. What compassionate people. Finally, I saw Dr. Cox. This lady is a freaking saint. She carefully went through all available options, spoke about how much it would cost, and even gave suggestions in case I could not afford certain treatments. My dog is 15 years old, so much of the news she had to give me was very troubling. I got a little emotional, and she put her hand on my arm to comfort me while she carefully explained everything. I felt like I was talking to my aunt or big sister. She truly cares about us, and she even gave me cheaper treatment options in case I could not afford everything. This place is head and shoulders above any other vet I have ever been to. I can never go anywhere else again after being treated so incredibly well here. If you love your pets, you will bring them here. A++ all the way.

Dr. Jennifer Procuniar is the most compassionate, loving, knowledgeable vet I have ever had. Our sweet 11 year shih-tzu developed a tumor in his nasal/sinus area and we were told we needed to do several very expensive test at our previous vet. We came to Katy Trail for a second opinion. Dr. Procuniar gently told us that we could do the tests, but there was little the tests would do unless we wanted to begin radiation treatments. Surgery wasnt an option with this type of tumor in a flat nose dog. She gave us steroids and antibiotics and a pamphlet on in-home euthanasia. I took my baby home and gave him the drugs and researched his condition. I felt the radiation treatments would not significantly increase his life, but would be a unhappy experience for him. I was so happy that the drugs were enough to give me 6 more weeks with my sweet dog - and most of that time he was doing very well with minimal discomfort. The decision to put him down was one of the toughest ones Ive made, but again, Doctor Procuniar was wonderful, sympathetic, compassionate, and supportive.

Amazing! Everyone at this hospital really loves and cares about the animals. Dr. Oberschelp was great, couldnt have asked for a more hospitable and gracious veterinarian! My cat was showing signs of a UTI, which is pretty serious and can cause major health issues. My regular vet didnt have any openings for at least a week; I figured that my only alternative was the emergency vet. However, after reading the reviews online and how great they were, I decided to just give the clinic a quick call to see if they might have an appointment. Sheena (sp?) was the receptionist who answered the phone, she was so sweet and booked an appointment for me immediately! I didnt see her when I checked in, but she came and checked us out and was so excited to meet me and my kitty! I highly recommend checking this hospital out if you are looking for a regular vet, or looking to change your vet. Just awesome all around and I am so grateful to all the staff for helping take great care of my animals.

Everyone here is very kind and they were all so great with my super shy dog that actually loves meeting new people. What is also especially great about this place is that they make everything very easy for the pet parent/owner. We all know that going to the vet stresses out our animals, and they do their best to keep the pet calm too, but we also know that it can be stressful for the parents as well. Trying to coordinate paying, keeping track of your animal, and answering questions can be difficult but this vet office streamlines this and makes it easy. They were great about offering me options of additional treatments, like vaccines that might be good but aren’t required, without being pushy about getting them at all, it was a unique experience for me - I’m used to having to defend not wanting every offered service. So thank you to this wonderful vet office for making what is usually stressful a very easy experience.

I am so impressed with this place, Im kind of in shock. I feel like we get such crappy customer service these days that you dont expect it anymore. This place is a well-oiled machine. Everyone was friendly, the place was immaculately clean. They had water in the room for my dog, put a cute little baby Pooh-bear blanket down on the table for her. Dr. Johnson was thorough and wonderful. She spent an hour with us. They gave me lots of information about local boarding and grooming places. I also like that they combine traditional vet medicine with a holistic approach when practical. I didnt feel like I was being pushed into anything, rather that they were making a concerted effort to give my pup the best care possible. They also gave me a nice folder for her medical records! I wish my doctor was this good!

We LOVE this place. We have been taking our Labradors here for years and they have been kind, caring, knowledgeable, and a well oiled machine. They are a tad on the expensive side for some procedures, but you get good quality service, great facilities, and A&M graduates for vets. We have seen Dr. Chow lately and she is great with our dogs and provides us with lots of good, timely information. Also, they WILL write prescriptions so you can go to Dr. Foster and Smith and get Heartgard and other prescriptions for cheaper and mailed directly to you door step. However, they will only write 6 month prescriptions at a time so you cannot get the 12 month discount. Overall, we would highly recommend this place. Both our dogs both give them 2 paws up!

This was the worst experience I ever had. Nice people but I have 3 dogs and took them all in for their annual checkups. All of them had blood work and it cost $1000 without any meds or flea treatment. The next month I received an e mail requesting me to return for one of my dogs rabies vaccine.I took great care to send all their records before the appt and was surprised that this was not done at the time so to say I was surprised was an understatement.I rang them and expressed my dissatisfaction only to be told something that I found to be irrelevant-they expected me to bring him back again. Really?I changed vets and found out after all the blood work I had done, one of my dogs also did not receive a heartworm test. Are you kidding me?
