Giving 1 star only because the dentist that examined my teeth was excellent and deserves recognition. He was very gentle and a real nice guy, and listened to me instead of jumping in and suggesting one thing or another. I explained that my teeth had been getting worse over the years and felt like he really listened and considered why i want to do what im wanting to do. Told him i want all the uppers extracted and replaced with a denture. He agreed that durtures were my best option at this point. He suggested that we eventually do partial dentures on the lower back teeth and fix the lower front. Which i was good with. Primarily, my focus is on the top teeth right now. After the brief exam, I spoke with a guy that went over the procedure and the denture options. Gave them all my insurance info. He plugged in the numbers... Wow! So, they wanted $4,800 just to extrac 13 teeth and another $2,000 for the upper denture... Had me down for a total of 18 office visits and multiple denture adjustments... $6,800 just to extract the top teeth and get a upper denture??!!!?!? Come to find out, my insurers is good for $2500 a year, it covers 80% of all extractions, and 60% of the cosh for dentures plus 50% for being sedated and all that. I dont think they even factored in my insurance. I lost all hope when i left. Luckily i was able to get in to another local dentist that day who has an outstanding reputation. After that vistit, i learned i can get all the top teeth extracted, full upper denture, partial lower extraction and partial lower dentures for under $700 out of pocket after my dental insurance covers the rest... We went from $6,800 for just uppers at Aspin dental to $700 for full upers and partial lowers 2 miles down the road. Aspin dental is an absolute joke! Never again will i step foot into this place. They WANTED me to have to finance my teeth, after i payed them off with monthly payments i would have paid close to $10,000 for upper dentures and the extraction ! Absolutely insane! It was obvious after i went there, they are ALL about the MONEY. So, for anyone who is considering getting extractions and dentures, I highly highly highly recommend shopping around and know exactly what your dental insurance covers if you have it. Luckily for me, I upgraded to the premium dental that is offered where im employed. Glad I did. Do your homework and shop around!! I highly recommend staying away from Aspin dental if you are looking to do what im looking to do.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! My sister HAD to go here because it was the only place her insurance would authorize. (Disclaimer: I am writing this review for her because she is still crying and in pain from this so called "professional dental procedure". Also an online review is better than me going to this place and telling them how I feel in person) They were COMPLETELY RUDE and COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL. My sister had to have a tooth removed because it was fractured. She suffers from anxiety and was feeling very anxious about having the procedure, SHE WAS HAVING A FREAKING TOOTH REMOVED, and after expressing her fears the staff was completely unsympathetic and eventually the dentist just threw his hands in the air and said "I cant do this, she is going to have to sedated!" and walked out. They offered her NO solution to the situation and went ahead with the procedure anyway. I wont even get into how crappy they did the procedure. SHE COULD FEEL EVERYTHING THEY DID. Next, she went to see the financial guy because having a new tooth put in is going to be $4000. He was a COMPLETE DICK to her. Because she was just put through a SEVERELY traumatic experience, she was in the most pleasant of moods he told he "I dont have to help you." I think I have covered most of the bad stuff. I am sure I have missed many of the other horrible things they did and said. OVERALL, AVOID THIS PLACE. The dentist sucks, everyone knows, but this place takes the freaking cake in terrible customer service, HORRENDOUS bedside manor, and uncompassionate staff.

It was an amazing promotion - free exam, including x-rays and consultation - so I expected to be treated like a freeloader. But I was respectfully attended to by at least four (I lost count) pleasant staff members in turn, each taking time with me to explain what was happening and why each step was pertinent to good dental care. The facilities were clean and bright and roomier than I remember dental offices to be, all of which tended to make me feel comfortable and confident in their professionalism. The dentist seemed to welcome my sliding over to look at the xrays with him and described what we were looking at and what it meant. He and his staff were happy to discuss my options and understood that I need to address the issues little by little as I am financially able. I came away with good news about by immediate needs and with a written itemized plan for future work. I walked away thinking, " Wow! How can they afford to spend so much time with me and take so many xrays, all at no cost to me?" This promotion was a tremendous gift. I have no dental insurance and need to pinch pennies so, with itemized price list in hand, I shamelessly shopped local dental offices for a better price for the first needed procedure. I found to my delight that Aspen Dental in Beavercreek, with their bright and roomy offices, their respectful and pleasant staff and their generosity of professional time and attention, were also the most reasonably priced. Whodathot?

I havent been to the dentist in years, mainly because I couldnt afford it. Most Aspen Dental locations have awesome payment options, and even offer a form of credit at their office. The staff, is often very busy and sometimes your wait is long, but its really worth it. The Beavercreek location is understanding, and I know Ill keep going back. I will say I had to put my foot down about removing one of my wisdom teeth. They said it was creating a "pseudo pocket" and it would be easy for a cavity to form there, but the truth is, I brush my teeth very well, and the tooth [they wanted to pull] wasnt causing me pain. I stood up for myself, and they made it sound like I had a choice, and could wait to decide if I wanted. When it was time for me to pay for my visit (they do free X-rays, and your first initial exam is free, I had different stuff done) they wanted me to pay for my wisdom tooth being pulled in advance. Wait a minute! Didnt you say I had an option!? So after I refused to pay for the tooth to be pulled, and paid for everything else, I got this fabulous electronic toothbrush with a lifetime warranty. Its pretty nice! So as long as youre someone who can make an informed decision on your own behalf, these guys [in the Beavercreek, Ohio location] are pretty good. Very polite, and they realize the X-ray pieces are large, and very uncomfortable so they do their best to be quick and put you at ease.
