I will never wait in line for over an hour just to get in and be scolded by some lady behind a desk on a power trip for doing exactly what she told me to do! She needed a weight on my dog so I put her on the scale and then she starts screaming at me to get away from the scale and wait my turn. Hello! You were checking me in! She want on to the lady that was behind me! I immediately left and went to GATEWAY where we had a very pleasant experience. Let me be clear...i am NOT an impatient person and my gripe is not with having to wait, its with the unorganized mess that is the check in process at Brooklyn Animal Hospital on a busy Saturday morning and then being scolded for doing exactly what I was told to do and then being skipped over.

I have been going to Brooklyn Animal a long time. I love the doctors and nurses BUT the inconsistency from the from thw office in regards to their hours and scheduling makes it a complete hassle and difficult to keep going here. They are open 1-4 in The afternoons and they tell everyone there is no walk in appointments after 3:30. TWICE I have taken time off work to bring my pet and been in the door with plenty of time to spare (2:35 the last time) only to be met with horrible attitudes, consistat reminders that we will have to wait, and an atmosphere that is unwelcoming. The office staff makes you feel like your putting them out. Ill spend a little more to get a better atmosphere and to feel comfortable and welcome.

Been going here for years. They are so loving towards animals and they work with you with a lot of circumstances. We had our dog put down at first we decided to have her sent to a cemetery and then we changed our minds to bury her in our backyard and we were able to do that without a problem. You can tell they care for the animals. This would be the place for you to bring your pet. Also when we decided it was time to put my baby girl down a precious cat which was the hardest thing I ever had to do they were so caring understanding and let me spend an hour with her before they did it. They sent her body to a pet cemetery and sent me a condolence card.

Just took my 2 year old Pit Bull Dachshund mix Odie in today because he had cuts on the tips of his ears and every time he would shake they would bleed. I was quite worried. Dr. Noakes and staff helped reassure the problem wasnt as severe as I may have thought and diagnosed him pretty much right away. Such wonderful, knowledgeable people and very helpful at that. Extremely happy and fortunate to find such a place close to home. Prices were reasonable as ever as many have said. Thanks again!

Ive been to multiple animal hospitals for my 2 kittens and this one is one of the best. Friendly staff, great vets. Compared to other establishments, the costs for their services are very low, but the staff is very efficient in what they do. My only complaint is the long wait times. But its a walk-in clinic, so I totally understand why theres always a wait. Honestly though, Id rather wait longer than pay twice the price at another place. Highly recommend this animal clinic!

Took my Border Collie here on recommendation of a friend, they didnt diagnose my girl was going blind, or that she had diabetes, that was after their check-up. Took me to move less than a month later and see her walking into walls , went to another vet at another clinic who told me she was blind, and diabetic and had been for over 3 months. Brooklyn clinic is smelly, workers arent caring at all. If you need expert advice for your pet go to Gateway clinic.

They had taken in my lost puppy and were all so helpful and wonderful people. They took care of her like she was their own. And did not charge me a dime for it, Im so glad to have found her and know someone was looking after her. Wish I could help them in some way. They are quiet helpful and take excellent care of the pets there.

Most dogs fight at the door...they dont want to go in but my oliver is like a little kid in skool thinkn hes on a feild trip!! I love it there and oliver loves it there...he is NEVER AFRAID... Wonderful staff ...and the husband and wife team are GREAT!! Definitely recommend Brooklyn animal hospital!!!!!!!

I hate this clinic. Its the worst one Ive ever been to. I went in at 8 and had to wait till noon to see a vet. Its dirty, smells awful and the receptionists are flat out rude. The vets couldnt even figure out what was wrong with my cat. If you love your pets then dont bring them here.

They where awsome and very helpful. My dog is hyper and not used to being around other dogs. I left my dog in car until he was called, they did a check up and gave him his shots and checked us out fast. We where in and out. Definetly recommend this place.

. Michael Noakes is bar far the best vet around. I have been to many through my life, and no other compares. I have been to Gateway numerous times, and Doctor Noakes beats them all. No one cares and understands pets better.
